I love this piece. It came out gorgeous! Love how you changed the look of the hardware! This is one lucky little girl that is getting this piece. Aren't old toothbrushes great for so many things! I never throw them out either. You did one really beautiful job on this piece! Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida 🌴😎💙😎🌴
Thank you! I love how this came out too. The old hardware was so fun to do a makeover with as well - old toothbrushes are the best ! Thanks as always for leaving a comment - I appreciate you so much!
I love how the hardware came out.! . You didn't mention how this compares with GF pearl effects. Hard to tell from my angle the difference in shimmer. Love your tutorials.
Thank you! I didn't come to any real conclusions on GF vs DB. I think DB smooths out a little better (less streaky) but overall they gave the same finish. They both need a topcoat to not feel tacky at the end of the process.
Thank you! I wanted to compare the two products and see if one came out a clear winner. I like both of them, DB was a little easier to get a finish without the streakiness some people have trouble with, but overall either product will work great!
Amazing transformation!!! Thank you so very much. I wonder whether you could please recommend a way to transform cream colored carved furniture in the neoclassical style to white pearly glaze but a little shinier more with a discreet silver or very light gold sheen, reminiscent of glossy capiz...?
Please reply please I have finished my entire dining room furniture with metallic white pearl and don't know how protect it with varnish. Do i use gloss varnish? Will satin varnish dull the metallic shine?
I need help. I've painted my dining room furniture with White Pearl Metellic Paint. Question: what varnish should i top coat the pearl paint??? Satin? Semi gloss? Or Gloss. I dont want to flatten the beautiful pearl metellic finish Please help me it's a huge project.
I recently painted my dresser a dark gray, it turned out great but it looks flat (used a satin finish) was wondering if I should spray a gloss on it, also what color handles would you recommend...I was thinking stainless steel.
You could certainly dress it up a bit with a gloss topcoat. Stainless steel handles would be so pretty, also for a bit more modern look brushed gold or champagne would look beautiful!
This is just an expensive version of using a semi-gloss or gloss topcoat. The paint is great but the price point for this particular product is far from superior when compared to other less expensive brands.
Oh my that’s beautiful. I’m doing my granddaughters bedroom next. I know what I’ll be doing now. Thank you so much.
Yes Rosie! Do it!! This is an easy finish that turns out stunning!! Your granddaughter will LOVE it!
Love Love Love this finish. I will do on my grand-daughters dresser.
Love painting everything white!!!! Also thank you for the chance to win!!!!!

That turned out gorgeous but in all honesty I prefer when you used general finishes pearlescent champagne.

Do you seal the furniture after the glaze?
Beautiful job and option. What top coat did you use and how much fun was it glazing and seeing the transformation. Thanks

@@RootsWingsHome Thank you so much for the response. I will have to try that.
Thank you for such informative videos...I have white furniture but needs a touch-up.. should I paint it white before painting with the pearl paint?
Yes or else your gonna see through it. You can put any color under it and it will give it a pearl finish. It’s really beautiful.
So this is a glaze you don't wipe off?
Several of us have asked about the topcoat question, but you have not answered. can you please answer?

I love your videos. I do have a question. Should I paint the backs of my furniture? I'm so torn. I don't know
Thanks so much! I don't think you need to unless it will be floating in the middle of the room. I don't paint the backs of my pieces.
@@RootsWingsHome thank you! I will definitely be keeping that in mind!
