When they question you about Flat Earth being salvational, I think of how little they are thinking of others… the truth has lead many to Christ. The truth matters!!! Gods word matters!!!
That's so true! I often thought the same thing. So many atheists and skeptics actually came to the Bible and to our Lord by discovering the Flat Earth... but our own brethren disregard this truth and even call it crazy or stupid. It's actually sad 😕
I thought that the entire video with this gentleman was blessed, with one part being stunningly intense (starting at around 28:30) - the part about how some of us are self-oriented and wanting salvation while saying that parts of the Bible's literal truth (cosmology especially) doesn't matter, meaning the words of God, the One Who saves you, don't matter. It's like questioning the integrity of God. And wanting salvation but not believing what God said shows the character of the person. That section really was an epiphany for me. I also experienced another thing that I connected with, "The Truth about God made me see even more the Love of God." Thank you brothers.
Yes some deep things were brought out during this interview, I am happy you appreciated them friend. Truth does indeed reveal character, or rather how we respond to it. Oh the wisdom of God in reserving and then bringing out testings truths like cosmology! -Chris.
When Lolo made the point about hail coming from the ice thats formed on the firmament, both Rebecca and I looked at each other, and at the same time said “Hail reserved for judgement”! (a reference to Job 38:22-23). We were really blessed by this!
I also learned of sabbath truth from a friend handing me Walter veith video! We watched his testimony which is terrific and then said yes to watching Total Onslaught Series he did on Revelation leading us to these pillars of truth and let’s pray that Walter learns the truth of One True God and Biblical Cosmology! It took four people and nine years for me to accept OTG so I understand he has rejected it but if God worked so hard to reach me who has very little influence in this world I can imagine how much God is trying to reach Walter Veith! Loved this testimony and praise the Lord for “saving to the uttermost”!
What a blessing it must have been to be brought up in a Christian home which feared the Lord. Today is the sabbath in NZ and a good time to listen to your story LoLo. Interesting way you came to the truth regarding the 7th day sabbath. Also I get it when you said that you obtained a greater trust in the Bible because of allowing yourself to realise that all that it says is true regarding biblical cosmology. I love it that you are a great lover of truth. 💒
