Thank you for this simple example! Loved your tribute of loving thoughts and appreciation for your mama. My mom made many things it fit for us girls and prom dresses, too. I love to quilt and am beginning to discover pillow making magic! Thanks again for your cleverness, gentleness and sharing!
Your welcome! Thank you for such a kind comment. I don't sew nearly as well as mother. But it makes me sad to think that, that quality of sewing is a rare art these days. I try to keep a little skill going with simple projects. I was thinking of doing a patriotic envelope pillow case for the patio.... Stay tuned. Hope to see you around the channel! 😘
Love your inspiration but you didn't detail what you were doing as you went along, ie seam allowance, type of stitch, back stitching. as a beginner trying to teach myself off of videos such as this I do find those things helpful. For people who are truly beginners we need that direction. love your pillows, they turned out beautiful.
So when making the second piece make one side 5 in shorter? And the third cut out peice make it 6 in shorter (than the 1st cut out) , regardless of the size of the insert? … for reference, my insert is 22x30 , so would my cut outs be: 1. 23x31 2. 22x26 3. 22x25 Thank you!
You are kind, gentle, and patient...perfect for a beginner like me...good job!
You are so sweet, thank you!

Show the prom dresses I would like to see them
Oh man, they are at my moms house. Several states away! I would have to dig up some pics.
Wow very nice! How long did this take you to make?
Well longer when filming. But I would say about 30 minutes project. If you have your insert ready and materials.
Link doesn't work.
Thanks for letting me know. I fixed it.
Don’t own a sewing machine
Music is too loud. Just do away with the music
I've learned alot since that video. Agreed too loud. But cant change now
