Wonderful song! The vocals you heard were the amazing Maurice White and Phillip Bailey. They did the leads for most songs. This combo and the whole band altogether wooed us for years and still do. I feel so blessed to have seen them perform live. (Lionel Ritchie was in the Commodores and had a solo career but was not in EWF but you are getting the vibes.)
Ace is getting pretty good at recognizing artists’ voices and influences. I love his dedication to learning about these artists. Great job Ace! Love your channel. Glad you’re digging the music I remember best.
😂🎉 Love to see young ppl genuinely enjoying music from here their time. This is a great group and a fantastic song. The 70s and 80s were a golden age for music 🎶😊.
In my opinion, Phillip Bailey is one of the GOATs of falsetto singers, if not the best. He and Maurice White were both lead singers. Maurice was the founder and leader of the band. Maurice is deceased but Phillip still tours with the band.
Great reaction 😃 Love ❤Earth, wind and fire they're awesome, 🎶 best live band ever!, and no Lionel Ritchie is not a member of E, W & F, Lionel was a member of the Commodores. Recommend E, W, & F's early 1970's music "Evil" "Head to the sky" and "Devotion" nobody ever reacts to these, you could be one of the first to do so!. Thank you Peace! 🙏
No.. Lionel Richie was not in Earth Wind and Fire. he was in a group called The Commadoors..Which were Awesome aswell....I love your reaction to Earth Wind and Fire their one of my top 70s- 80s group...could you react to IN THE STONE by Earth Wind And Fire...really want to see your reaction to that!!..love it when you get hyped!! 😂😂👏🔥🔥🔥❣️
This song is a David Foster’s masterpiece!!! Originally intended for Jay Graydon but when Maurice White listened to the demo after a few minutes decided that it would be “his song”
Lionel Ritchie, was a part of The Commodores. He was not on this song. Maurice White, the Founder and leader of EW&F, sang lead vocals on this particular cut. Keep groovin'!
