Thank you so much for doing this one. I'm a huge classic rock and pop fan loving music from the '60s , 70s and '80s and of course I love Stevie Wonder. This is one of my favorite songs by him and why I decided to make a lyric video out of it and it did very well for me as it's one of my most viewed. And perhaps you can see why as you sit there listening and watching my video! I was shocked to see that you used my video as your example. Which is perfectly fine of course. Wonderful reaction by the way.❤️❤️❤️
This song saved my life in 1977. I was 20 years old. I'm grateful for the genuis of Stevie Wonder, his music, and his courage to go on and on wishing profoundly in the deep depts of his soul that humanity will rise above hate and fear...that is from a black blind man. Surely, this man is touched by God. (sorry about the writing, I'm french and just learning).
@@michaelasay8587 From attempting suicide, after rape at nine years old and years of school bullying. I lost all hope of being the happy person I once was. Took me thirty years to live normally again, but yet, at times, it feels like I could sink in the blackness of despair so easily because of extreme solitude and rejection from the people I once loved, including my family. Solitude and loneliness are the only things real left from those years, my only companions. Being alone is the worse thing, but it is the only things keeping me alive. I don't give up easily.

As a black man born and raised in the ghettos of America this type of music was always playing like the soundtrack of our lives and it was always accepted that Stevie Wonder was a genius and his music was especially special but looking at this couple from a world away listen to this song and is brought to tears really gives this song a deeper meaning that I never considered. I, like the gentleman in this video, was brought to tears. On so many levels this video touched me and even saying that feels like a extreme understatement.... it actually grabbed my soul. In this world that seems so cold and selfish I thank you for this enlightenment and experience. I am a new subscriber.
This song contains one of the most BEAUTIFUL and greatest lyrics ever written. 'Did you know that true love asks for nothing? Her acceptance is the way we pay. Did you know that life has given love a guarantee? To last through forever and another day! Just as time knew to move on since the beginning... And the seasons know exactly when to change. Just as kindness knows no shame, Know through all your joy and pain.... That I'll be loving you always"
Thank you for choosing this song! I’ve heard it dozens of times as I purchased the album Songs In The Key of Life back in the 1980’s, BUT, I’ve never read through the lyrics before. Like your husband, my heart was full and I was brought to tears from the beauty in the lyrics and the delivery of the melody. What a gift! Thank you!
Props to you for feeling exactly what this song should make you feel. It's one of the greatest songs ever written and performed, expressing the deepest love one could have for another. I grew up on this decades ago and it still brings me to tears. Stevie Wonder is untouchable in the genre of music.
Stevie wrote all his lyrics...(he also wrote many songs for other artist) more than not he played every instrument you hear on the record and he also had a band that could reproduce his songs perfectly live. He is the whole package as they use to say. They didnt name him Wonder for nothing. He is a Wonder.
Yes Stevie writes his own lyrics and plays the instruments to his own songs.....and keep in mind....he is blind!!!! He wrote the lyrics to this song and perform the instruments!!! Beautiful song!!! One of my all-time favorite songs by Stevie. He is a genius and my No.1 artist of all-time. I cried every time I hear this song!!!!! And the song is relevant to your relationship: Andrei & Domininka. Also Check out "Love's In Need of Love Today." It is beautiful. It is Fire!!!
Stevie Wonder’s music gave my Autistic son so much pleasure. I went out and bought all his music. It kept my son calm and gave him peace. I will always love Stevie for that.

Several years ago, shortly after my son was born, I was playing with him, bouncing him on my knee, and listening to Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life" album. This song came on and - completely unexpectedly - I suddenly burst into tears hearing the lyric "I'll be loving you always". I was TOO happy. I couldn't take it. LOL.
This song was included in my wedding. That is how much me and my husband love this song. If you are not aware of his deep discography….trust me, it is worth the journey. This is just the tip of the iceberg….
For the first time listener, the song is simply arresting... I was 12 when I first heard it in 1976, and I still tear up when I hear it. It's the most beautiful song ever.
As much as I would love to see you react to every song from this album, I think it would be a blessing for you both to sit down and listen to the whole thing together in one sitting. Songs in the Key of Life truly is the story of Life and Living. I am seriously looking forward to the day when all the Love that Stevie sings about here comes to pass because I believe in that time and space, we may actually get to meet. And that is a day I'm looking forward to as well. Carry on, my friends!
The song can be described simply as "My love for you is natural and never ending." Stevie became somewhat enlightened around this time and personally I think he helped a lot of us to move toward that goal with such genius music. Never speaking down to his audience.
Great reaction indeed! You are very clever, friends. Dominika (I hope I didn't write in a wrong manner) said very well: when Stevie talks about love, it is not only the love between two human beings, but between one of them and God! The lyrics of this song are... direct from Heaven as it has been said, but I wanted to add this: when in the bridge Stevie says "you're in it but not if it" he does a reference to the famous words in the Gospel of John 15,18-21. Next Stevie's song I recommend: the "nearly-live" "A seed's a star and tree medley".
Stevie is everything. He’s s a songwriter, composer, arranger, and what a voice. Here are a few other selections I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for an instant: I Was Made to Love Her, I Wish, Superstition, Living for the City, For Once in My Life, You Are the Sunshine of My Life, Uptight, Maybe Your Baby, Higher Ground, Don’t You Worry About a Thing. Cheers!
Young Stevie Wonder had hits in the early 60's at age 13, he was one of the greats of Motown in Detroit my hometown, Stevie and Michael Jackson were 2 of Motowns prodigy's, Stevie Wonder was from Saginaw, Michigan near where my mother grew up, his list of hit's are numerous 😅 you should see him on the harmonica, a good example is "Thats What Friends Are For" with Dionne Warwick, Elton John, Gladys Knight, and of course Stevie 😉 Peace✌️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary😊 ❤Love your reaction as usual 😉

Stevie Wonder, Dire Straits and Supertramp have always been my favorite musicians, but Stevie is what has formed the soundtrack of my life. Songs of the key of Life and The Secret Life of Plants are the two albums that still make me fall in love with him.
Thank you for such an open and honest reaction. I had this same speechless reaction to this song wrapping my head around explaining what an all powerful love even is. It inspired me to write 12 pages of me just expressing what this song meant to me. It truly is as if God himself spoke THROUGH Stevie about love and what it really is, how powerful it truly is.
Always loved this song. It's gentle beginning belies it's profound message. Though he is blind, Stevie sees far more than most. We live in a beautiful world & life is far too short to waste on negativity. Great reaction. ; )
You keep on reacting to many of my favorite songs!!! And your words are great, but the expressions on your faces are even greater! You should hear Stevie's album, Innervisions. It's full of this caliber of songs, a true work of art. I noticed on "As" that the line, "God knew exactly where He wanted you to be placed" grabbed your attention. There is a quote from the Bible, Acts 17:26, which says, "From one man [God] made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." I just thought you might like to know that.
I wonder if blind people sometimes see better than sighted people. He captures beauty in the song that draws upon visual images that he's never seen. Pure genius. I bought this album when it was released and I loved the whole album - it's one of those rare albums that's a masterpiece with great song after great song ranking up there with Carole King's Tapestry, U2's Joshua Tree and very few others.

You two beautiful people -- Andre and Dominica -- really need to check out the double album that this song came from -- called SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE. Came out in 1976, when I was 15. This culminated 6 years in which Stevie Wonder came out with genius album after genius album. And this is his magnum opus -- his greatest work -- most people consider it so anyway. So many great songs on that album, and the way the whole is so seamlessly put together -- often one song leads right into another. It's a full experience -- two full albums, four sides. PLEASE check it out.
Truly channeled from the higher realms. I enjoyed watching how much you enjoyed this song. Even though I've heard it dozens of times I can never not cry. Thanks for reacting to this one 💙
Good God! Dominica is spot on! I'm the one who's going to cry, not Andre. Stevie Wonder was always an amazing talent but he was a stretch of 3 or 4 albums in the early 1970's that were as good as any in popular music.

Many thanks. We'll look into it for sure 😊💚
Truly channeled from the higher realms. I enjoyed watching how much you enjoyed this song. Even though I've heard it dozens of times I can never not cry. Thanks for reacting to this one 💙
Beautiful song. Lovely voice.
Good God! Dominica is spot on! I'm the one who's going to cry, not Andre. Stevie Wonder was always an amazing talent but he was a stretch of 3 or 4 albums in the early 1970's that were as good as any in popular music.
this video brightened up my day so much; thanks for the reaction :) hoping to see a reaction to "i wish" from the same album
I love all of your reactions, they’re so heartfelt. Thank you guys, I appreciate you both. Love and Blessings 🙏♥️
Imagine writing a #1 album when you are 24-25 years old. Stevie is one of the most prolific artists ever!
Many people are not aware that jazz genius Herbie Hancock is playing the Fender Rhodes electric piano on this track.
Love him❤🇨🇼🇳🇱🇨🇼🇳🇱
le meilleur le maître le plus grand j'adore Stevie Wonder
the song "joy inside my tears" by stevei has your name written all over it...
So funky and heartfelt!
i love you guys...
I hope you guys get an opportunity to listen the whole album that song is from - "Songs In The Key Of Life" So many unbelievably great songs fill that whole LP
If Fingertips at 13 years old didn't convince you then " Songs in the Key of Life " should have, that Stevie Wonder is a musical genius.
Timeless
I bet she is gonna listen to that song again
Stevie is one of the best. Ever. 💯♥️🇦🇺
Beautiful ♥️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Fantastic lyrics!👍You guys should react to "Knocks Me Off My Feet", from the same album.
By the time of "Songs in the key of life" Stevie literally exploded with music and it went on - "The secret life of plants" is a hardly known masterpiece too. This song is a very good example but it´s only just one of the many.
Btw - the guy can sing, yes?
Yes 💚
woooooow wondefull
