The video is good, but it was something to see them live! Philip busting out those high notes 🎶 and Maurice with those subtle tones!! Old school concert was the best ever💯

The Fabulous 1970's, My Mother and a friend of hers saw them in concert in the mid-70s. They loved it !!!
I was a white kid in a white suburb in 1977 enchanted by EWF’s double live album Gratitude while my friends were doing Led Zeppelin and The Who. All that music still stands up, but I will always love Earth, Wind and Fire above all others

Philip Bailey has an amazing falsetto...Maurice White is the other lead singer and leader of the group. He has passed away and Philip Bailey now leads the group. Try listening to “That’s the Way of The World” where Maurice sings lead and you can hear Philip’s voice in the background.

Another GREAT,GREAT band.I first heard them when "head to the sky" was released..saw them at the forum in LA 1975...One of MY all time favorite bands and I go DEEP into their catalog.enjoy.

Earth, Wind & Fire, are NEVER gonna disappoint cha. They are a ONE OF A KIND band!!! That version wasn't bad, but TRUST ME, it has been sung "WAY BETTER". Check out the audio version, for it will BLOW YOU AWAY! Phillip Bailey (the falsetto lead), sings it even more amazing, then what u just reacted to.

To me they are the greatest band, ever.
As an aside, the gentleman playing the Sax is Don Myrick, who was tragically killed by cops in the 80’s (somebody check me) when they went to his home and he answered the door holding a gun shaped lighter, or so the story goes. He was a HUGE talent. Listen to EWF’s “Runnin’” a Grammy-winning composition/performance that features Myrick.
Please check out "They'll Never Be" and "I Call Your Name" by Switch . Joe Debarge is part of the family singing group Debarge family. El Debarge has an incredible falsetto voice. Switch and Debarge are to groups you definitely want to listen to. Talk a about smooth.

Earth Wind & Fire is an amazing band. Two lead singers, a legendary horn section, cutting edge music of the time. They were the band other R&B bands tried to sound like. Their concerts were amazing spectacles! Please do more EW&F. Sing a Song, Got to Get You Into My Life, Can’t Hide Love, Be Ever Wonderful, and many more. It’s a deep well.

Seen this group in concert four times. Indescribable!!!! I cannot describe their concert...Way out of pocket...like they are from another world!!!! Check out their song "Get away." and That's The Way of the World.

they were a hit factory and they had great musicians and a great horn section. that's why they lasted so long. Music needs to rediscover instruments like horns, the organ, piano, the synthesizer, flute, etc. One dimensional and boring today with overproduced and over vocalized sound alike songs

One of my favorite love songs of all time. It came out when I was in 10th grade. High School memories. I have to say, I've never seen this version/video. It's a little chopped up. I like the original off the album and another live version but don't know from where they played it or what year. You could hear all the girls screaming on that version from the very beginning. I saw them in concert in 1978. Really great show.

Glad that you played a live version. Philip Bailey is the one who does most of the falsetto singing, ( like Fantasy for example) but the leader of the group and founder of it is Maurice White who does many of thet more tenor/ Baritone lead vocals.
