      Great! I'm not a fan of the videos that cram 25 things into 10 minutes. I guess they're good for some people, but not me. I'd rather make videos like I'm showing a friend how to do something on the iPad. Thanks so much for watching!

    Oh dear Rich - paper lists seem to be much easier! I’ll try…! I don’t have the little icons underneath the colour choices. You chose cart and basket. I just have a white screen. Could it be because my iPad is old and won’t accept IOS 17? Clearly a New iPad in my future - needs a Reminder! Many thanks for an easy to follow video.

    Geez Rich. Our teaching styles are very similar, and we could even be mistaken as twins. Thank you very much for the work to create/post these videos. Super informative. I’ll have to go ahead and start to do the same in the future, on other topics. More of us seniors out there, who don’t get good (or any) training on the use of technology.

    I was hoping there is a way to actually remind me of a task in reminder, by popping up on the screen for me to see and remind me.

    • @RichBowlin
      @RichBowlin  6 месяцев назад

      There is! You can turn on Notifications and you'll get that "tap on the shoulder" to remind you to do the thing.

    While using the reminders app on my iphone. When I search for keywords in a subtask, I wish the search results would pull up the entire reminder, rather than just the individual subtask. Do you know if there a way to do this?

      So true! Honestly, for the cost of Apple products they should provide more storage space. I don't mean to complain, but Apple needs to fix this. Thanks for watching.

      @@RichBowlin Agreed, Rich. Instead of a measly 5GB they should give us *at least* 15GB. 20GB or 25GB would be nice.

    I really like Apple reminders and use it all the time but I’ve noticed that when you start to really use Apple reminders with all the functions that they allow like Geo tagging uploading pictures and documents and reminders for time-based locations that the watch only has so much storage and you can really clog it up and I’ve had to stop using Apple reminders and using the iCloud sync because there’s no way to delete the Apple Reminders app on the Apple Watch. I wish there was a fix where you could only select certain groups that you wanted synced to the Apple Watch allowing you to keep the iCloud sync but since Apple doesn’t allow you to delete the Apple Reminders app I had to break the syncing functionality and it’s really frustrating please Apple fix this.
    Now nothing pairs fluidly between my watch my phone my tablet and my computer it’s super lame. @apple #pleasefixthis

      There are a number of things Apple needs to fix. For me, it's the base amount of iCloud storage. I've not run into the problems you describe because I use reminders in a pretty basic way. I'll have to test out your method and see if I can find a solution. Thanks so much for watching. I learned something from you!
