You have very high standards my friend. There really is nothing like a precision made firearm to have in the collection. The difference between a good firearm and a GREAT firearm is the smile on your face when you pickup the great one.

I appreciate this video and all of your other videos. You keep it simple and you do a really good job. Both of these revolvers are very nice and although I am jealous that you were able to get two of these finally made revolvers, I’m very happy for you. I have the korth 4 inch silver mongoose 357 magnum, it has the same grips that you have I believe. It blows my mind that anyone would say these revolvers are ugly, as I believe they are very very beautiful aesthetically. The Korths are finely made and is truly a piece of artwork! As a firearm enthusiast and collector, I believe Germany, France Finland and a few other countries make superior firearms than what we see here in the USA! Oh I don’t think anybody would understand list, unless they owned one of these firearms and was able to work the action/fire the firearm. The craftsmanship is simply unmatched! Yes they are a lot of money and I can understand most people will never be able to afford one of these and there’s nothing wrong with Smith and Wesson, cold, ruler or any of the other brands, But the Korth and Manhurins, by far and away stands out at the top! In my opinion the python is extremely nice but doesn’t hold water to the manurhins or the Korths! The 6 inch looks very nice and I see the differences you’re talking about. For me I prefer the four-inch and the controls of the 4 inch model, but I also don’t have as many other revolvers as you do, so I understand what you’re saying and your reasoning Behind your comments. I think the 4 inch will do everything that the 6 inch will do though. Finally, just in my opinion and in my own personal experience, the manurhin mr, is the greatest revolver ever made,hands-down!!! They specifically built it to own that title and it has backed it up over all these years. Thanks for the video. Very beautiful revolvers

your for sure not a dork getting the korth !! i own a Manurhin mr73 6 inch an Korth both in .357 mag. non of them two is any better than the other. both extreamly precise with my handloads....maybe the manurhin is a touch more precise ...but the korth has the slightly better trigger when it comes to single action shooting.(Korth 1100gramm, mr73 1500gramm)..on double action the are on par. fit and finish is impressing on both. the only advantage is here in germany is that the mr73 is cheaper compared to the korth...but ya will get a also more cash back when you should decide to get rid the korth after whatever time of use. Here in germany we dont shoot distances like 7m or 15m like in the us. our shortest distance for competition is 25metres/ 25 yards. at 25 meters with my amateur skills i am able to hold the 10 ring and the 9ring with ease. in a hand of a real good shooter those 2 guns are capable of holding the 10 for 20 shots with no problem. But to be fair: a smith wesson 686 target champion with a tuned up action is able to group like that too. cheers from germany

Who told you that in the US people shoot 7m and 15 m for competition (I assume you meant bullseye). If you are a beginner, it makes sense starting from shorter distances but this is not a competition.

Nice video on 2 great revolvers. I'm recently new to Korths and my 1'st is a 4" like your 6" with the skeletonized hammer, combat rear sight and S&W type cylinder release, plus a fitted 9mm cylinder made was made in 2020. Korth is constantly tweaking the design. My 2'nd Korth was made in 1971 and is a 6" 22 Magnum with an extra fitted 22 LR cylinder. Back then the finish was a deep blue which is beautiful but nowhere as durable as the current DLC finish. Now the hammer design on the early Korths is a wider target type spur which I really like. Be careful as these things are addicting. Next I added a new 3" Dual Cylinder Mongoose because I really like 3 " barrels. And last month I bought a 4" 44 Magnum Korth that I haven't even shot yet. Like you I prefer the skeletonized hammer and side cylinder release which I wish they would bring back. I don't know if it's true or not but I heard the name Mongoose was the brainchild of Nighthawk and thinking about what is a Mongoose, it's a snake killer. I've done a couple RUclips videos on my 2 357/9mm Korths that are very short and to the point like yours. Keep up the good work.
One last point on the your newer 4" they added an additional locking point on the frame where it interfaces with the crane that you'll notice as soon as you open the cylinder.

Another great video. Really enjoy the breakdown of your firearms. I own a Manurhin MR73 and absolutely love it, but I'm looking to add a Korth to the collection at some point too. People have really told you the Korth looks cheap?! I'm guessing they've never handled one before. Those guns are fantastic. Wish I could afford one with the high gloss finish, but I'll be more than happy with the DLC finish. You can't go wrong with a Korth or with a Manurhin. I contend that anyone who claims otherwise has serious gaps in their revolver education.
