I rented this film on uTube last week best film i have seen in a long time i can't believe it's over 30 years old and i have just watched it for the first time
The rifle was purchased for the film based on input from Tom Selleck as he wanted to make sure the firearms portrayed in the film were accurate for the time period. He did end up keeping it after filming until it was sold at auction in 2023.
Why can't you just be grateful the video was posted instead of complaining about where and when it should be posted sundog70? People like you are never satisfied with anything. And yes...in case you did not realize the point of posting any video on RUclips is for clicks. These content creators just don't post for the heck of it.
@@xyPERSON It's nice that you know me so well that you can tell what my satisfaction level is with everything. So, as you are complaining and unhappy with my post, does that make us the same? Well come down off your high horse, drop the hypocrisy and lets see.

Poor snowflake he didnt make the video the way you wanted it. Go cry to mommy maybe she will tell you your special. Pretty sure the postercis not concerned you dont like this clip.
Quigley is entertainment that we once knew how to make. Now we are so busy teaching political lessons and correctness that we have forgotten the first thing - get them to like and enjoy your movie. Don't bore me with your life style choices and wishes just make a good movie. I'll get my news from other sources, if I want that.
Watched this movie when it came out walked out disappointed it is a nothing movie that is why you hear nothing about it everything about it is nothing.
Rickman of course was awesome in this movie. And I think this is Tom Selleck's finest work.
Tom Selleck and Alan Rickman were both amazing in this movie, it is well worth watching the whole movie, very entertaining.
I miss movies. When that's all they were meant to be.
Tom would have been a great Indiania Jones!
It would seem… that he had the superior mustache.
The only person who can beat Tom Selleck's mustache is Sam Elliott.

Just think of all of the great films you have yet to see.
Same here. It's led me to rent more of Tom's westerns. "Shadow Riders" is also good.
The best part of this part of the movie is that old man shading the clothes and going to what he calls home the outback
Never even got the hammer cocked... and he was Quigley's _second_ shot!
Love this movie, great cast involved. ANY time Tom Selleck ot Alan Rickman is involved it's a good one.
This is a really great movie.
Tom Selleck and Alan Rickman's best movie!!!
Cracking film.
Absolutely, and all the better for having T S and A R,in it. 🇬🇧
What an odd place to begin a clip of this scene...
Ya, especially since they didn't include the attempted arrest afterward.
I need to see this movie in it's entirety!
It's so worth watching, it's brilliant. I have watched it many times and will do so again.
Never understood why no sequel as great film.
A sequel would have just been a crummy money grab. Works better as a stand alone movie.
So Quigley is given a revolver with more than 1 round?
It was his spare, so presumably it was fully loaded.
one of my all time fav westerns - the entire cast was awesome!
Old guy comes out and hands him the rifle as if he's going to say "'From now on, I'm going to call you Lucas boy."
Arcane reference. LOL!
That ranch was the original House Slytherin……
This is a spectacular movie.
One that is both entertaining and inspirational.
Like movies are supposed to be. Not like the woke garbage we have today.
This movie is so incredibly underrated and overlooked it's not even funny.
I believe Tom Selleck musta saw a ghost, with that camera pan.
If you want likes, then use the whole scene. Otherwise, stay off of RUclips.
Nice to see Ron Jeremy doing a cameo appearance.
Oh, stop. 🤪
Hans Gruber should have gotten a reverse mortgage.
IIRC, Selleck owned the gun he used in the film.

Not gonna give you a like for this one either. You coulda/shoulda put it with the first half. Just lookin for clicks.

This isn't created content. It is existing and common content slightly recut for personal gain. Like 80's rap.
Why clog up the net?

Que rapidez.
Hans Gruber
Love it when a misunderstanding works in the good guy’s favor

Lots of old movies had lessons about justice and tolerance in them. They're usually the ones that become classics.
@@E3ECO Why does "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington" come to mind?
