"this is a hand and not a spaceship"
bro changed my life forever, i always thought it was a spaceship in a desert
What if the hand is a robot spaceship?
I always thought it was a robot hand, then found out it was a spaceship in someone's video, but I can only ever see a hand, I really have to work hard to "see" the spaceship! It's a weird one, that's for sure.
lol a few years ago Paradox released an edit of that picture on the stellaris twitter and turned it into a ship from a hand bc of all the people who saw the picture like you did.
I miss seeing the ship
Small heads up, when Gigastructural Engineering updates for The Machine Age there will be a system in place where the Birch World and Frame World will count as multiple colonies when calculating the virtual colony penalty, depending on how many Insulas are built on the Birch or how large the Frame is.
Well that sucks
I mean, you'll still be able to easily break the games economy over your kneecaps.
This majorly sucks. I hate how they add a "balanced" version of their origins and remove the OP ones. As if this mod is really balanced in any way. The last iterations of the birch world origin were awful with this new discovery mechanic, basically unplayable for a belligerent empire.
@VAArtemchuk yeah I had a conversation with the developer and he wants none of the origins banned in multiplayer games for some reason. It's kinda stupid
@@VAArtemchukhow dare the devs add interesting origins instead of cheat origins. Cope and seethe
This was the first thing I thought about when the Virtual ascension path was announced.
Infinite pops, on a, for all intents and purposes Infinite world.
Too bad it's being nerfed in the 3.12 giga of the game
@@Patrickf5087 Probably a good thing. I just tried this same thing and the game basically kills itself within a couple years of properly repairing the birch world, I topped out at around 7000 pops before the game finally crashed
> "86 years into the game and we haven't received any sort of...
Birch world origin took too long to snowball, so i've learned to love virtuality on a frame world.
How are you making gigastructures work? mine is B O R K E D
Too bad both Birch and Frame are getting nerfed for Virtuality.
I always wondered what it actually looks like inside
probably it would look like the garden of edin, but in space
Similar layers like an onion. Supermassive black hole at center
I imagine the city from Blame!, it just goes on and on and on, ad infinitum...
"Aspec is back baby!" In other note. I would recommend one game for you. I'm pretty sure you could make some insane bonkkers happen in a "Ultimate Admiral: Dreadhnoughts".
So basically it’s the “I win” sphere
But it takes a very long time to become so
for me it's more like the "i won" sphere
At least until the Blokkats arrive
Can't wait for the Giga update for 3.12
They are neefing this in 3.12 giga, same with framework.
@@Patrickf5087modularity and nanite might be actually be a better pick with those 2 origins
@ScorpioneOrzion in the nerf ya, because you don't get penalties, and with nanite, they will be pretty much ship building factories.
I honestly haven't seen a use for modular for anything other than story.
The only reason virtual won't work is because they will be "splitting" the "one world" into multiple. Worlds which virtual takes massive penalties on.
I don’t appreciate the fact that the single tallest origin in the mod is getting a nerf for Virtuality that essentially makes the two incompatible. Like, WHY.
I CAM AS SOON I SAW I BEEN THINKING ABT THIS
Gods, the countless billions of people fed into the lathe, the sheer loss of life!
A true Stellaris playthrough!
> ASpec, "I'm back."
God, as if Gigastructural Engineering wasn't broken enough as it is XD
Paradox: Nerfs science in general.
Players: Finds a way to break the game yet again.
I can't help it, but that starting world looks like a big wooden marbel with varnish on it, and some engravings.
There's a mod with an alternative appearance for it which I much prefer
Sign of ininity: Exists.
CPU: Cries of anguish.
But you can make organics into synths and then virtuals? Shortly after you completly sythesize your empire theres a short series of events to get a few buffs, and after i picked the one about downloading from dead leaders or something all my pops got the virtual trait
ohno
There's about to be a lot more people using gigas before it's updated and they're gonna be very confused when it does update and their saves get bricked lol
Can't wait for the influx of people asking why their games just broke in the gigas discord :(
18:59 Does anybody else see a space centipede?
Father Aspec makes more Videos again, wuuuuuh!!!!
Wish there was a Nanite leader and/or pop modifier. Like reduction in Pop housing and a major increase ot pop assembly and planetary building
Now do this and face the 25x Blokkats with it.
I'm glad someone else did this before I did!
hows this play with frame worlds too since they scale WITH pop size?
Does he mention that giga isn't updated for Machine Age yet? I assume the mod devs are scratching their head on how to balance Virtuality with Birch/Alderson/Framworld stuff.
Top comment mentioned it
I am not going to watch this. I am going to go DO this
i immediately grimaced when i read the title in my notifications.
I really want to try this but I'm afraid that my computer will just explode
I now know what I'm doing tomorrow!
now do it, in a frameworld, whit acot
it go even further thant a birch, it even worst even FASTER
took you long enough!
How do you keep the game floaty like this? I have a decent PC but 200 years in it is getting really slow :(
Infinity times infinity means... more infinity???
Isnt the Gigastructural Engineering still hasnt been updated? How did you get it running?
It still runs it just has odd interactions with machine age content sometimes.
Like the Birch, Frame and Alderson Disk worlds being hilariously overpowered.
Just don't be surprised if something breaks, doesn't work quite right or even crashes you out.
I haven't crashed myself, but I won't be surprised if it happens.
@@thomasparkin259 Huh, thanks for the information
I got to stage 8 on decaying bitlrchwoeld origin and it doesn't go any further
You need to get tetradimensional engineering
@@A_Spec thank you Aspec! I must've missed the tip in game! Have a good day! Al
Too bad the gigas devs are going to be hamstringing virtual Birch. Because “balance” is important in a mod origin which activates 200 years after the game start.
I didn't realize gigastructurea was compatible with 3.12
it isnt updated yet still the old version of the mod he used for the video
@@framed1607 yeah I figured it just crashed the game on 3.12
@@framed1607 it is updated now
Does it seriously take that long to get the birch world going? Over 200 years? Or did he play it improperly and it's possible to finish it much sooner by optimal play?
It takes a minimum of 200 years in-game to advance the situation. If you had perfect tech, it would take 200 years
Yes, it takes 200 years to get the most Op structure in the mod. Surprise
Why are birch worlds called "birch"? Can't figure it out for my life.
The guy that invented the concept was named Paul Birch. He didn't give it his name (he called it "supramundane planet") but people started calling it by his name later
Like if you thought the same thing.
92 years to get to the end of Virtuality? 8 planets when 6 should be the cap? Somehow having a ultra overpowered Birch World, Virtuality, AND Flusion while somehow only having 200k fleet power 200 years in? I genuinely do not understand how you played this so badly.
No
what's wrong with your mic
I'm renovating and the room echos
@@A_Spec stop that
