- How to avoid the typical mistakes that approval seeking beta males make by trying to prove themselves to the women who they want to date and how this weak behavior actually turns women off and ruins sexual attraction.
In this video coaching newsletter, I discuss an email from a viewer who is desperate to win the approval of and get his ex-girlfriend back who dumped him because she says that he was not rich enough to give her the life and lifestyle she wanted. Her parents have always encouraged her to find a man who is financially successful enough to take care of her, and treat her like a princess so she can focus on raising children. He incorrectly believes that he got dumped because of his financial status not being sufficient enough, when the reality is that he got dumped because he was an approval-seeking beta male. Even now he is trying to get a better paying job in hopes that she will find this new job financially stable enough to take him back. This new career requires that he go back to school and get a four-year degree. He asks me if I think his approach is stupid and what I would do.

It took me a long time to understand this and im glad i understand that now.
Very well said. I do value and love myself but tend to throw myself into a relationship too much. I gotta stop, break the chain. It would definitely lead to a smoother flow with my significant other and be seen as more attractive I'm sure.

This was so painful to watch. The level of delusion in this email went over 11 on a 1-10 scale.
Bottom line Corey's stuff works.
Girl I'm dating was ill and had to cancel, I let her know she could get in touch when she feels better and we can do something then. Two days later she invites me over to hers for dinner, and this morning she made me breakfast just like that.
This is because I'm being centred, playful, and letting her make the first moves before escalating or taking a step back if she pulls away.
It's effortless.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

"The modern man" your refer to, I have to say I love that junk because it's falsely teaching men how to behave around women. Which lets face it, gives us guys who come here and apply your work to have even more success. Loving coach's videos. Whenever he talks about the stories and makes the F.O.H. face, it snaps me out of any of funks I my have.
This sounds like my ex. The job/income didn't matter at first but her friends kept driving it home and continuously asking why she's with me. Finally she peaces out and now is with someone who has a 6 figure income but lacks qualities I know she likes. Makes me laugh because clearly she was with me for projecting right qualities and now she's with someone who "looks good on paper" to appease the masses

In the case where a baby comes along, sure that''s all understood and usually a couple plans a child after the honeymoon period has ended, when they have created enough of a foundation for a stable family but it's predominantly the female that ends most relationships cause she got bored or the relationship just doesn't suit her anymore, at least that's what's happened to me. They never ended it based on any real problems that weren't so big that we couldn't solve them.

I've heard guys complain that the relationship changed when the baby came along and they have to know that going in, that it won't be like it was when the couple was courting each other.
Relationships go through stages and ups and downs and a couple may think the relationship is over but it's in a low point, then they break up , only to get back together after a break, so they didn't fall out of love but were tricked by the lack of spark at the time and had to separate to get it back. These aren't good long term relationships though cause they only have good chemistry for a certain while, then it runs out.
In my own relationships and my one marriage, we didn't make it through the honeymoon stage and it was infatuation on their part and no real bond to make it last, but so be it. I accept that the girls I was with were only there for the good times and ran away when it suited them.

Alpha Male Strategies for life
Hey coach, I recently came in contact with your material and I'm now reading your book . Your material has opened my eyes, but I just came across this situation I can't solve on my own. I started working in a new place around 6 months ago and it wasn't until the last week that I noticed a girl who's working in the same department with me, we've only talked a couple if times but I immediately felt a great connection, the girl is Japanese... and what a surprise... she's going back to Japan in two weeks! I just can't believe we've been working in the same place and I never noticed her! She's the shy and conservative kind of girl and since she's going back to her country I don't want her to think I just want a one night stand or something like that, I want to ask her out because I can't imagine loosing my chance to go out with her and spend this remaining time together. How can I ask her out without getting rejected and without looking like someone who just thinks of her as a diversion? I don't want to offend her, all suggestions are welcomed!
I'm not the coach, but something you should keep in mind is that a girl moving away in two weeks is going to be much more interested in having a great time with no expectations than she is in adding a new loose end to regret (a guy she really cares about and sees as relationship material). You don't have to preemptively plead your case about your honorable intentions. Just ask her out and have fun together. She may at some point express doubt about your intentions, either to test for emotional messiness (at any time) or to test for a sincere desire to connect (if she's considering sleeping with you). If so, that will be the time to tell her a trimmed down version of what you said here: You just noticed her, and the choice was clear between spending time with her now and forever missing the opportunity. If there's any part of the coach's usual advice that might not apply in a 14-day-time-limited situation like this (only if she's really not coming back), it's that you'll probably want to set up dates for 2-ish days out instead of 5-ish days down the road, and you may want to wait only 3 days or so between the first date and "set up second date call" if she doesn't get back to you first. It's risky, and the coach can correct me if I'm off base...but you have less to lose than normal, and if she likes you enough, her own time limits will hopefully magnify/accelerate her anticipation (if it's like waiting for a cake to bake, this one may bake faster). She's probably more likely to start pursuing after the first or second date if she's into you, since she'll be feeling a time crunch just as much as you...which may provide the opportunity for 3/4 dates instead of just 1 or 2. That said, she will also be stressed and busy packing, etc., so the coach's advice about calling once and letting her return it (and not being needy) applies at least as much as normal, if not more. Be her escape from stress in her last few days, not another thing to juggle.

Being half Chinese, myself, I got to say that, unfortunately, it is really in the Chinese culture to focus massively on climbing the social ladder! I mean, in Chinese family parents don't give a s**t about what kids like and what are their real talents! They want doctors, bankers, lawyers, engineers etc.
The goal of a child, especially a male kid, is to improve the social status of his family (i.e. getting into a position that is better than the one of his parents). If you fail to do so, the entire family will look down on you!
You are looked as a total failure and a massive disappointment for the entire family!
And girls are educated to look for men that are successful (i.e. they have a lot of money). It is never about love, personality, connection, communication etc. All these things are considered BS. It is all about the lifestyle the husband can guarantee to his wife. Period. Indeed, for what I know, in China families are a total mass. There's no love, not even for the kids. There are planty of disfunctional families and people think that that's just normal!
Hence, I'm not surprised, at all, when I watch this video.
coach should we watch or listen to your vids 10 to 15 times as well or more ? i do most of the things you teach instinctively but i realize society has deluded me away from my male instincts and they are hard to understand sometimes , ive read your book planning on memorizing it( ive only had it for 2 days ) but im wondering if ill be able to to distinguish my my alpha male instincts more or is it something Im always going to have to make sure i know what Im doing? in other words can my behavior be corrected and set back to a natural state ?

After 2 years, after the honeymoon stage, and after thinking long term and big picture (and not foreseeing a brighter future), I can see a woman in her 30s attraction level dropping or even making a rational decision to end a relationship to have time to find someone else that fits what she's looking for. I can also see a man coming to terms with the fact that he may not be able to provide the life she desires afterall. It doesn't seem as pathetic as the tone it was read in.
Sometimes money taps into those animal instincts; feelings of security, etc. Plus there's even cultural issues (by the way, there's a shortage of good women in China, which is probably why Chinese businessmen do silly things).
Also, it sounds like he chose poor words to describe positive things like bettering himself, being spontaneous, fun, etc. The words he chose sounded like approval seeking, but the actions themselves seem more like personal development and keeping excitement in the relationship.
