That looks familiar! I worked as a mech./technician at a auto research facility in S. Texas. One project that lasted several years (& made us lots of revenue) utilized the 2.0L EcoTec Turbo engine. After many engine disassemblies/reassemblies for modifications, inspections, times pallets of those engines, I got very familiar (& good) with timing chain removal & reinstalls, among many other procrdures! It became fun & easy. That 2L LHU Turbo was one tough, durable engine! Great vid., thanks!
Yes, once you have had one of these apart, they are easier than you think. This engine is in lots of gmc/chev cars and SUVs. I think to this was one of those engines uses across the globe. Thanks Paul for chiming in! Hope to hear from you again.
