This is fine for the remote function but how will the added key start the car? You still have to take it to the dealer to program the transponder of the new key.
no, this worked. I thought I explained how I did it in the video. Key working fine since I did it. The lady that owns the car is 78 years old. She literally took the car home after I added the key. Watch the video again, starting at 2:11. I reused the actual key, and also the old bottom part of the FOB which contains the pellet that the car reads to know this key belongs to this car. (I did NOT reprogram the key, just the button functions as the circuit board & buttons were new and the car would not have recognized they now belong to the car. Does that make sense?

Thanks Lakes. I was shocked that the aftermarket FOB housing fit with the factory one. The owner, a 75 yr old widow is very pleased!
