Hey mate, it's been a year since upload, how are they holding up? I'm looking into these, just want to know if they are good enough and hold up for a decent amount of time. Cheers
Hi, do you happen to know how many mm high is the bearing cover? I ordere this exact headset and then noticed my mmmbop frame has a longer headtube than my old nukeproof scout, so I'm not sure I will be able to run my thrusty old bomber z1 on the mmmbop because it might be cut too short. I'm trying to find out if I have to buy a new stem with less stack or if I will be fine once this headset arrives
Great video. My headset is making creaks and I discovered the lower bearing (open caged bearings) is warped, probably due to previous abuse riding without sufficient preload. Anyway, how's the ZTTO ZS44/56 headset so far? I'll probably get one, but get LBS to fix it since 1) need to replace the crown race; 2) need to replace the press-fit cups both top and bottom.
Why commencal? I liked the aggressive hardtail geometry which was similar as a few others like Nukeproof and Marin. The 2 big things I liked the most: it was in stock last summer and i really really really liked the color.
Great video bro! I like you channel I have the same headset for almost 8 months now, so far so good.
Thank you! I’ve owned two of these and they’ve worked fine for me too
Wow that long stem tho... Is it 100mm? Thanks for the video!
lol yeah I had used a spare stem just to hold it together for the video. I’m running a 35mm stem now :D

After 100 miles of riding, I’ve had no problems with them. They’re simple parts so I did not expect there would be any problems either

The cover is about 3mm, it’s not very thick. Max 5mm.
@@mtbxpchannel9031 thank you so much

It’s been working out fine so far after a dozen rides. No creaks or grinding. I recently removed my fork and saw no abnormal wear on the headset.
@@mtbxpchannel9031 Awesome, thanks for the response! I purchased a set and waiting for the delivery. (y)
did you already cut your fork steerer? if not, does the fork has spacers with it when you bought it?
I cut it using a Home Depot pipe cutter. The fork did not come with spacers, must be purchased separately.
@@mtbxpchannel9031 thnks man
I see ztto have 42/52, can use for mtb or just roadbike?
Every frame is different and you will have to research the bike or measure to know which size will work.
can it bear aggresive riding sir?
It has done well for the riding that I do.
size sir? 44/56?
Yup, ZS44/56
@@mtbxpchannel9031 thank you sir
What do you call that one for measuring the headset??
