Very nice. The F types are probably my favorite version of the BF 109, purely for aesthetic reasons. I really like your building process and organization. Keep up the good work.
Just ordered this kit yesterday, your video was perfect timing. Thanks ! Very nice build and paint work. Eduard put a lot of detail in this for 1/72, impressive.
That is a really nice build and the model looks great. I haven't built a 1/72 Eduard model but it looks a superb kit. I have made several 1/48 scale kits and I think they rank amongst the best out there. I would suggest you try the Flory clay based weathering washes, I think they are a game changer. They can be applied quite heavily over the model and allowed to dry, which in a warm room takes about 15 minutes, then rubbed off with a slightly damp tissue. This gives really sharp panel lines and you soon learn how to clean the stuff off to give great dirt effects.
Nice build. For building 109s I have found the fuselage top/bottom seams much easier to make by chamfering the edges of the fuselage halves with a knife or sandpaper before gluing them together rather than scribing the panel line afterwards.
I think Eduard's kit is the best buildable in the 72 size category! It is a good idea to design the landing gear, which guarantees the correct position.
Real nice build. I agree, the mottling pops when all the decals are applied. Just curious here, do you not add the swastika to your luftwaffe models for historical accuracy?
I do, I like having them on there but I run into issues when sharing my models on certain platforms so I just decided to leave them off a year or two ago.
very nice as always i recommend you to get from Eduard the Zlin ,any type are all amazing detailed ,i build the 526 and is one of the best "small" models i have build because to me it feels more like 1/72 than 1/48 but i was amazed how everything goes together ,i dont recall using putty on that model ,by the way did you remove the carrier film of the decals? I am not sure you did ,eduard decals have that future and they look like be painted after !
Great looking 109. For CA and the like, I use those fliers that come through the door that are stiff paper/thin card with a smooth finish on. Perfect for this sort of thing as they won't absorb the moisture from the glue and they are free 👍 Wasn't the splinter camo usually soft edged, did you use masking tape just because of the small scale?
Beautiful build. I haven't built a model for a long time, but love watching builds, especially when the editing is so good, Thankyou. Subbed.

Superb molting job. You always do a great job in this type of paint. Like your builds...😊😊😊😊

Very nice kit build Messerschmitt BF 109 F2 Luftwaffe aircraft of the Luftwaffe.
Looked really nice 👍
Brilliant job & looks marvellous

Great looking model. Thanks for sharing your work.
Great video!
Very nice, thank you for sharing.
Awesome build, especially in 1:72!!
Looks great well done. All so looks a nice kit
Fantastic build Jason - a great scheme - i have 1/32 scale E4 for my next build - i like this colour scheme. Cheers Liam
Glad you like it, that’ll be a great build for you, enjoy!
Nice little build 👌
I used the Mr's top coat gel nail polish for some lenses that worked well. Bit fiddly with UV lamp.
amazing build
Amazing job…looks like 1/32nd! 1st 🥇

Really nice work. What was the reason for putting PVA glue on the rigging before applying the super glue?
The superglue melts the rigging thread so glue it to itself unless you have a barrier which the PVA is used for 👍
Looks superb but get a crooked cross on the tail 😂😂😂👍

Thanks btw! 👍

doing all that work in the cockpit and then having the canopy closed is criminal 😁
Haha it is removable 😉
That may be your best build. Almost perfect job.
I use a tea light for super glue 😉👍
You are building together a Luftwaffe aircraft. The Luftwaffe.
Great build and video! The Special Hobby 109s are slightly better detailed, but the fit is nowhere near as refined as Eduard
Manca la svastica!!!!!!!
Why would anyone buy airfix?
I question I now ask myself
They’re buildable, relatively inexpensive, some unique subjects.
La storia non c'entra un cazzo con il 'politicamente corretto'.
Steal at that price mate!
