Thank you so much for reintroducing me to scale modelling. I've loved watching your videos and the calm, helpful manner of your delivery is a joy. It's inspired me to get started again after a 30 year break. The quiet pleasure it's bringing me after a pretty difficult chapter in life is wonderful. Your videos are far more than just instruction, they're a much needed shot of positive inspiration. Thank you!

I built this kit last year, I class myself as an experienced modeller, mainly due to building kits for the last fifty ocdc years, I found this kit real joy to build even with it being one of their oldef kits, I believe any issues with the build were of my own making, I still make mistakes building kits, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les

I've also been building for years (over 50 of them) but likewise enjoy watching videos like these, especially in genres I don't usually build (I'm mainly aircraft and cars) and usually learn something new - such as removing a link from the rubber band tracks to tighten them up! Good video!

A really good build video and well filmed and edited. There is a balance with builds between progress and not getting bogged down with all the parts and you hit that balance on the head.
I have been modelling for years and a couple of things I have found with filling and sanding that you mentioned is not rounding edges when using sanding sticks. I have found it easier to use needle or small files sometimes as they don't distort. They must be good quality files and not cheap far eastern ones that don't cut properly. These are also good for sanding hard superglue when it has been used as a filler. I use superglue as a filler almost exclusively as it is instant drying with no sinkage. If there is a really big filling job mix the glue with a little talcum powder to make it like a paste.

Very nice. I built this old girl maybe around 2010. Through enjoyed the kit. Did a little scratch building on it, like filling in the underside of sponsons yo close up those big holes. Then a few little bits and stuff in the turret. I did enjoy watching your video, especially that trach trick.

I’m at the painting stage of this kit. It’s been a good build. Put the first coat of drab olive on today. I’m using SMS paint through my airbrush. (Scale Modellers Supply Australia) Looking good with one coat.

what kind of ratio to sprue do you use for spruegue? I'm still using modelling putty for gap filling but I've got enough sprue and glue to create my own now...

I’m not too sure, it is more a feeling thing for the thickness, as long as there is visible plastic melted in the glue (it’ll look grey and thick) it is just a case of how thin you want and you can add a bit more glue to thin it

One thing I have noticed in a number of your kit videos is that the specific identity (including product number) is never given. It would be very helpful if that information was at the very start of the video or in the supplemental text information below. Sometimes the information can be deduced from the box image shown at the start (as in this video), but sometimes not.
    Thank You
