- After days of practice and preparation, I managed to complete a 10-70 Speedrun in just under 4 1/2 hours, and I did it using a Kul'tiran Guardian Druid! This run had some unbelievably good RNG, and since it utilizes the 50% buff, I don't think I'll manage to top this any time soon. A ton of work went into putting this run together, so I hope you enjoy watching it!

Hats off to people who level as a main gameplay loop. I can barely stomach levelling my first alt.
To be fair, leveling is just a side hobby for me. I mostly play this game for raiding/dungeons.

Leveling is the most fun gameplay for me! I have around 25-30 toons at lvl 60! I have one for each race (Alliance), each class and almost each spec😂 I have’nt played for around two years now so no dragon race for me, but all of the others I have, LOL😂 If I ever get to play wow again, my next goal is to get a male and female of every allied class at max lvl😄 I also have several toons of the same class/spec/race meaning that I got like 5 hunters, 4 mages, 4 druids etc
Same. Just spend the last 5 days playtime at loremaster. I have also around 20 Alts on 60 and 70

This was a great watch, I've never watched any other speedruns of WoW before but I love it.
One piece of advice I'd say is to create WeakAuras for your buffs/consumables for once they run out or are at a certain time. It would help you remember to use MotW, Pots, etc.

Love the vid! That's one sick time. Just as a sidenote, the whelps in the Waking shores quest @3:03:50 aren't bugged, but instead you are using a quest-specific ability which has its own cd (basically you can think of it as a quest item with a cd).. A lot of quests in the newer expansions which require you to interact with specific friendly quest mobs have this sort of thing baked in to it.. If you use addons like MikScrollingBattleText, it will actually show you when it comes off CD. Just a small tidbit you might find useful if you keep running in to similar situations.

3:18:44 I dunno if someone else has mentioned it to you since this video, but Aerial Halt with Airborne Recovery gives you back 1 vigor when you stop with Thrill on, which is nearly always. It's easily the best dragonriding talent besides the thrill buffing ones. It means in all those situations where you're hitting 2 one time, you can instead hit it twice (this reaches Thrill speed) and then Aerial Halt when you land, getting to a place faster for

You can save a lot of time by using the addon ActionBarSaver, it's not updated for long buuuut it still works.
Set up a already lvl 70 druid and type /abs save druid and when logging your new druid you can type /abs restore druid and you'll have all your bars set.
Everytime you lvl and get a new ability you can simply type (or even press a macro with it) /abs restore druid again and you'll get the new abilities out every time.

Way too much, I don't even know how I would begin to count that tbh. For perspective though, I've been playing this game actively since I was ~5-6 years old back in 2004-2005.

Honestly, I do this stuff BECAUSE I struggle to just casually push my characters from 60-70. I find it's easier to spend days setting up a perfect run and level like this than it is to slog through hours of boring leveling. This way I'm actively pursuing an additional challenge and having fun while doing it, so it keeps me motivated and I don't bail on leveling midway through.
@@Harldan1 yeah that’s understandable i have like 8 toons 60+ and 2 of them are boosted cause i just don’t find leveling fun in my opinion but im slowly getting into it leveld 2 toons to 60 in a week time and i was just chilling but once all the allied races go free i want to try and get one of each atleast 60

I don't use many addons. All you need for leveling is Leatrix Plus.
Always love watching your runs. Not a fan of incorporating dungeons into a regular route (too inconsistent and not really "in the spirit" for a speedrun), but they are fun to watch. :)
Well, the "spirit" of my run has always been stuff that the average player can still fully replicate. Dungeons, while a bit random, are still 100% accessible to all players, and they're a way that many people prefer to leveling. Personally I wish they weren't efficient at all, but I think it would be remiss of me to just not include BC dungeons at all when they're this fast. Even with subpar RNG it's still worth it for the average player to run them, so I include them in the route.
@@Harldan1 My comment wasn't meant as criticism. It's just a personal fixation of mine that I really enjoy fully solo runs of multiplayer games.

really interesting video, opens a whole new wow for me - i just have some questions. In Loch Modan you were searching for a chest - why not get Rarescanne or Silverdragon, these will pop up when there is a rare and or a chest. Also, just an idea - do macros for the consumes, call them for e.g. legion or bc, and drag them in order you can use them on your bars, then you don't have to worry about them while questing. If you already answered these, thats fine too, just found your channel and these videos are super entertaining.
Rarescanner and Silverdragon aren't super reliable in my experience. 99% of the time a notification won't trigger until after I've already found the chest.
You use shift+E for sprint too, that’s neat. I’ve always used that bind for sprint I’m not sure why

I spent about 3 - 4 hours leveling 1 - 58 during regular xp rates, let my character rest up fully with XP and then I leveled 58 - 70 in under 2 hours by doing instant-tank-queues, First-Crafts for my 2 professions, and flying around the zones earning like 1300XP per discovered area, I literally just spam 1 to boost my dragon flying around the dragon isles and it gains me like 1 - 2 levels,
then inbetween queues at level 68 - 70 I submitted crafting orders for my items for when I turn 70, bought acouple 428 BOE's that i knew i'd keep forever ( paid for through augment runes from tank-satchels) and withdrew my enchantments needed for my body to be fully enchanted when i became a level 70 with fresh gear. Then I imported my spec-tree when I hit 70, equipped all my items, earned the TW Cache, and the Heroic Cache Chests to obtain two 415 items, and bam I was 402 ILVL, with a 2pc tier set, all within like 2 hours after becoming 70. Now I will run a full LFR/Normal Raid run before touching on M+ and likely earn 4pc, better trinkets, and better non-tier items that I can upgrade by doing m+
So I likely will be about 410 - 420 after another 2 - 4 hours, and then another 2 - 4 hours of tanking m+ I'll probably be between 420-430 depending on drop RNG, and then pushing from 430 - 440 takes a bit more time due to having to find parties, but i'm sure a week or two of queueing into specific M+ groups, I can easily get several of my toons from the 420-430 gap up to the desirable player power 440+
And this will all be within about 2 - 4 Days of playing time in order for me to acheive a fully-gained player power toon that is 440+ Ilvl and ready to competitive push high-end m+ for the remainder of it's playing time (However much I enjoy the class, I will drain my time into it accordingly, and use it for fun-purposes, or for learning purposes) Either way I enjoy pushing my player power from level 1 to 440+ ILVL and it doesn't really take me much time or effort I have a pretty solid routine down and I now have 4 characters 440+, 6 of them are 410+ and then I Have 4 of my toons between 300 - 400 ready to easily be geared up to the same as my others whenever I get bored of the others
Theres my life story for ya, it is what it is i guess but Yeah, I enjoy all classes i just enjoy the entirety of the game and I also am a player that doesn't take my time. I also rush alot, but hey being a Gamer is Rewarding, as you proved in this video
1 minor thing you can improve is keeping the profession trainer window open while you are crafting. you can have the profession tab and the trainer open at the same time.
