- In this video, I build a 24 and 18 shot canister shell rack from scratch lumber. I give clear and easy to follow instructions. This can easily be done in your own garage using the proper tools. The pay off is well worth it come the 4th of July. Please hit Like if this video helped you!

Really like the tip on cutting the base off using a jigsaw and jack handle! Do I get a cookie, I mean beer?
Winner winner chicken dinner! And beer + shot. Boiler makers for Sea Bass!
Great video 👍. Where did you purchase the hdpe tubes?
You can find them on most firework supply sites. Just Google it 👍
This is awesome. Could you do a setup of the fireworks too?
Hello! Thanks for the nice comment. I hadn’t planned on videoing the setup, but that’s not a bad idea. We’ll see! But time is a hot commodity these days….
Remove the reinforcing sleeve from the mortar tube first, then cut the base. Makes for a MUCH smaller and lighter rack!
Hello. How do you get the sleeve off? I’ve wondered about that, but always thought why not keep the tubes as safe as possible, however I can see removing them for a tighter fit. Please let me know!
@@FastFixRUclips Pull the sleeve off if it's loose enough. Or grab the sleeve, invert the tube and slam the opening down on a hard surface. Then cut the base. There are many ways to do it. A table saw, a jig saw, a band saw , whatever. Some people thought I wasn't too safe doing this but it works if you are careful: ruclips.net/video/t9L_MT2hWnU/видео.html
@@mguerramd hmm, okay! I guess I just wasn’t trying hard enough. Thanks!
Hey where did you get the tubes from
Pyroboom.com 👍
Totally doing this, I was just going to screw the bases to a board
Yes, do it! Well worth the effort! Best of luck and have a great 4th!
You did this the hard way, at least the bottom.
All ears for a simpler process! Thanks 👍
@@FastFixRUclips the simple way is to build 3 straight racks and then use your end plates to hold the side racks at an angle. whatever, though. i like that the bottom is all one solid piece on this one, even if that angle cut is a truly terrifying one to make.
