  • First time building a 12 shot rack. Have done multiple racks with this method, but single row. Material used was 2x3 pine lumber, and 1x4 poplar. can use 1x4 pine just as well. Spax screw are highly recommended to avoid splitting.
    DESIGNED FOR HDPE TUBES!!

From a pyro safety view it checks all the boxes. From 50 years of carpenty it is sturdy in it's simplicy and design. Nuff' said.

I really enjoy firework rack build videos and backyard display set ups. I've built 6 racks (an 18 adjustable angle mortar rack, 20 angle rack, 10 straight up rack, another 18 stationary angle rack, a 15 slot PVC variable angle rocket rack, a combo rack for 6 barrage candles and 6 rockets) with the help of these tutorials. Thank you.

candle racks are alot better than most imagine.
To get a fan cake effect for less than 15 bucks is always nice.
A fan style candle rack with anywhere between 5 -20 candles going up at different angles is great.

Great build. As far as alignment, I used to have my son hold the boards flush while I drilled my pilot holes for the screws to keep everything aligned. My life changed when I got a $20 nailer/stapler from Harbor freight. Now I can hold the boards in alignment by myself and tack them in place with staples before using the screws. Also makes assembly go much faster now

You can use this set up for any consumer cannister shells that are 1.75" in diameter, which is the majority of your cannister kits. Height of the shells doesn't matter, Ive shot 4" up to 7" out of these.
