Whenever someone asks why Eminem would write such a song or something like "3am." my answer is why not. Music is a creative process just like movies. Lyrics are the movie script. And just as how a horror/thriller script writer gets praised for how good that movie was, Eminem's creativity should be praised!
obviously ems creativity should be prasied but when you have a white man dominating black culture, or a lyrical rapper topping hit charts… there’s a lot of room for hate.

Just my thoughts here....... People who are reacting to Eminem should listen to his discography in chronological order. You will get a little piece of who he is at the time. For me it's also nice to see how much better he becomes, not at all saying he was ever bad but from the infinite album to mtbmb 2 is a completely different person. I'm only saying this as someone who grew up listening to his music as it came out.
Absolutely! Obviously you can appreciate how he evolved, but he makes everything connect from day one. Literally a genius for that.. that's why it's fun to go from the beginning because you'll find Easter eggs from other songs that he was basically predicting years into the future lol💯💯👍🔥
Agreed! Would love to see a reactor do it that way. Definitely wouldn’t have to worry about what to come up with next (video uploads) 😊 Infinite is dope and way underrated.
Fun fact!!! During this album Relapse - Eminem was on the beginning recovery route from drug addiction, he spent alot of time watching serial killer documentaries, it's why this album is so psychotic and amazing ❤
This was post-rehab and he was watching tons of scary movies/serial killer movies/documentaries when he wrote most of these. That is literally the explanation they have given. He was watching a ton of horror movies and wanted to explore that in his art. The Steven King of Rap?
So this song is actually from RELAPSE! Most of his songs from RELAPSE are like this, it's like a horror/thriller album and he uses this same accent. He did this so he could rhyme words with other words that don't normally rhyme and this is after his OD when he was relearning to rap and started watching a lot of horror movies during rehab.
The thing about this song is people aren't really going to want to jam to this in the car. But it's an incredible song that took a lot of creativity. That's what people misunderstand about Em
One thing to know when reacting to Eminem is what point of his career the song was made. Seems like you're looking for double entendres and punchlines in this one but he didn't really start rapping that way until the next album. Before Recovery it was all storytelling and cadence. As he got older he's become better at rapping but has less to rap about, so now he mostly raps competitively, to be the best rapper (he still has great concept/storytelling songs, they just aren't as frequent). It helps to know where you're at chronologically in his career so you know when and when not to overthink.
Dad of two sons here, happy husband, no dark thoughts whatsoever, I hate horror movies, love comedies, but man, I love this song. Soooo much skill put in it, and the beat is awesome. It is dark as fuck, but at the same time, its a masterpiece.
The fact that this is so not relatable is the genius of this song. I mean how do you describe the point of vew of a monster like this? Thats the art of the great writers and poets-to enter a state that they never experienced and re live it, and to articulate it to everyone else . thanks and i recommend the song :by eminem the kids(really funny, and i put a link in the past on other comment's of mine in your channel) thanks !

Great comments below but didn’t see this one. I think in a way, because of when this game out (right after rehab and his career seemed to be over), this song was him flexing on the music industry. He wasn’t looking to make enemies cause he was rebuilding and stretching his lyrical ability. He’s displaying strength and not singling out other rappers by design. In other words he was warning mc’s that he will come right after their necks because he’s Buffalo Bill…. or a serial killer. He did this by fabricating this story. It’s a flex and posturing for dominance. Like when a male chimp displays his strength for group respect.
Fun fact! One day when we lived in another town, my mom was driving to the next town over from us and saw a bunch of shady looking black sedans parked outside of a rehab center. She later found out that the rehab center is where Eminem went and those black sedans were his! I don’t know why a big shot celebrity would go there.” Ahaha just a cool fact.

Its called horrocore rap, he takes his influences in film and music and tv, puts it into his own words and tells his own morbid stories. Hip hop has room for way for words and ideas so it seems more evil and fucked up, but media and music have been saying and portraying stuff like this for centuries.

The lyrics in the video are not accurate at all. So many lines that make no sense in the video because the person who made it didn't hear it correctly.
Pauses (often) help prevent copywrite blocks. You won't be able to review many songs if you were to try it without them getting blocked by YT. I getcha, but the pauses do help prevent the video from being banned.

Hes mostly just done songs like that. Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, Hailies Song, and Castle/Arose being the most prominent.
If you stopped halfway through fack you missed the best part, also react to Insane
I don't think you have formally been introduced to eminem unless you react to the song "MY NAME IS"
Love your content. Suggestion:
Memory - From "Cats"
Nicole Scherzinger
Did she cover that?? I need to check it out ❤
@@BackyardButcher She kills it. Especially toward the end. She put so much emotion into it. I loved it!

Its called horrocore rap, he takes his influences in film and music and tv, puts it into his own words and tells his own morbid stories. Hip hop has room for way for words and ideas so it seems more evil and fucked up, but media and music have been saying and portraying stuff like this for centuries.
This is off his relapse album, the 1 that u have spoken about where he states himself the album was trash
It’s not trash!!! He never said it was trash either, he just understands why some critics can’t stomach it!
@@Oatmilllk *fuck my last cd it sits in my trash* not afraid
react to Careful what you wish for by Em
Listen to stay wide awake same album actually the whole
Album is amazing and mostly serial killer themed
Awesome reaction! Please react to Superman next!
2ND ME YOU NEED TO SHARE THIS
GONEZO............ RESPECT PITVON
MARK
No real big double meanings in this song.. rhats more of a more mature eminem thing. This is just him being crazy baxk in the day lol EDIT: hes glorifying it because hes literally a serial killer in his mind 😂
Lyrics videos are often wrong by the way. If its not making sense the lyrics are probably incorrect
Whys this man holding random pasta noodles lmao
You should react to "music box". Is similar in theme but darker and with a more "delusional, inner thoughts?" Tone
Do MAC MILLER - HERE WE GO
He's taking you through a horror film relax not real
My Darling is the best song on this album. Please react to it!
You are getting some bad Eminem request bro. You’ve reacted to some of my request and shouted me out. Appreciate it bro but damn u need to listen to better ‘em songs for you
Anthony Vincent made a really cool version of "Lose yourself" in the style of Linkin Park. I'm sure you'd love it!
Contra, band... van. Band van haha thats clever as fuck and never came to my attention 😅
Do stronger then I was emine.
Don’t get me wrong I appreciate this song and the artistery but you are listening to the wrong songs for you as a listener
But fack is a great song it’s not the greatest hits album 😢
The lyrics in the video are not accurate at all. So many lines that make no sense in the video because the person who made it didn't hear it correctly.
So many better songs.
So? 😂😂😂
Every song you could name, there's "so many better songs" that you probably haven't heard of
This is a good song
In my opinion this is one of the weaker songs of him. Catchy hook, yes. But else, kind of lazy writing, he could have made more out of the story.
Maybe listen to the whole verse first before reviewing? It’s distracting stopping the song every 15 seconds
Pauses (often) help prevent copywrite blocks. You won't be able to review many songs if you were to try it without them getting blocked by YT. I getcha, but the pauses do help prevent the video from being banned.
Drywall to be replaced but...
How long will the wall full of decomposing bodies take to dry (Stop decomposing and smelling like death).
you should react to more off of his relapse album. Its basically the mind of a killer, you should react to "Stay Wide Awake" or "Bagpipes from Baghdad"
this is horrorcore rap kinda like horror movies and this is based on a horror movie this whole album is horrorcore
❤
