Not to mention he already blew himself up a few weeks back with his machine. This kid should focus on somwthing else, not an old tech thats been designed, built, refined and trashed because its not a good idea.
When was pyrolysis invented? Historical reference: In 1877 Russian chemist A.A. Letnyi patented the technology of HC pyrolysis with obtaining lighting gas. It was during this period that the fundamental principles of oil pyrolysis process were discovered. Why is pyrolysis not popular? The report also emphasises the formation of unwanted and toxic hydrocarbons during the pyrolysis process, including toxic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) compounds and dioxins. These contaminants pose significant health and safety concerns to people and the environment.
Pyrolysis was used in ancient Egypt for the production of charcoal Pyrolysis isn't used significantly in modern times because it is inefficient. But guess what? He's not in the business of fuel production. His goal is waste reclamation. And is attempting to prove that microwave pyrolysis produces less pollutants an environmental effects than simply letting garbage sit in landfills and the ocean.
@misterturkturkle it doesn't work as well as he claims it does. India and other countries are shutting down factories set up to do exactly what this kid is doing on a larger scale with a larger budget. And they still can't get it right, but some kid in his backyard will figure it out before polluting the environment and people around him. It doesn't matter if you're using microwave or heat from a fire when applied to plastic either creates PAH byproducts. Stop trying to sound smart on the topic after reading one Google search. We are not talking about ancient Egypt we are talking about modern times and how it's used today. Not how to make charcoal.
@misterturkturkle and mind you what he is trying to prove has already been proven, built, refined, and rejected by countries for the amount of PAH byproducts. Using microwaves isn't new in pyrolysis either.

It's on Chemical Distractions channel and it's essentially just this guy making excuses for not bothering to do his homework before he started producing pollutants.
I encourage everyone to talk about this man, he’s been doing it for quite some time and he’s slowly getting traction, we may not need old fuel anymore
He's not trying to make fuel
Listen to the beginning of the video again
He's trying to eliminate waste plastic
Making fuels just a happy secondary
I hope so too. The more chemists and big RUclipsrs that become aware of this guy the faster his misinformation can be shut down. He has a small, niche, incredibly ignorant fan base that takes his word for gospel, he needs new viewers to counterbalance his personal fan club.
This dude is a genius hands down
I knew a guy who dumped motor oil down the storm drain. No way reusing plastic is more harmful than the norm
Nature is healing. This Naturejab guy is getting called out more and more.
We do feel and how satisfied you are oh great teacher don’t talk more than what you should amiguito
This guy is leading our generation
Hes leading a bunch of uneducated junkies like you into the false guise that hes doing something new. Do a lick of research on the topic
Nope this process has been done before and its been deemed not efficient for outcome
In very curious what an emissions test on a vehicle running off this fuel looks like.
It’s diesel and gasoline. There is no difference in chemical composition. All it’s doing it’s converting plastic to fuel.
@@2seep you just proved you are uneducated and don’t understand the concept
@@Tensentitiesprove it? Or else you’re just trolling. You come on here making rude comments backed by no scientific merit… where is the proof, you hater?
@@2seep There is most likely a huge difference in the chemical composition of his liquid compared to fuel, first because of the Monomers themselves, and also due to the side reactions that may happen.
When Chemists try to break up Polymers it always make a ton of side reactions and they have to clean up the product a lot before use.
I would love, however, to see an analysis of his products, at least an HPLC to see how clean or polluted his product is, but also if possible fancier analysis so that we can know what really is in and in what concentrations.
I like how he talks about the reason being to destroy plastic and then uses a use case of making more plastic to back up his uses. Also what's the point of having your guests on a show when all you do is talk the whole time and edit out everything he does and says for the most part
Wear that CROWN "BLACK" MAN 😎
For the last time; the government is NOT after him
Just so everyone here knows. You can google what he is saying. Like half of what he says is either a lie or misunderstood. This is a cloutchaser getting money from views. Its a mr beast video funded by conspiracy theorists watching videos. Support it if you want, but if you truly beleive the things you post, then do your own research.
Where’s your video proving him wrong, troll? You show no proof. You’re just out here side dissing wit no facts. Where is your channel proving him wrong?

@@brianpoirier3642 well in this situation, this guy has plenty of haters and is def doing something wrong. i’ve done my research, a lot actually. would you like to discuss why he is wrong or does that not matter to you?
This has already been done refined and found to be ineffective and toxic to people and the environment.
This is not new tech but old tech, and countires like India are banning these factories across their country, 208 plants.
This kid is polluting his neighborhood and doesnt even care.
Pyrolysis was used in ancient Egypt for the production of charcoal
Pyrolysis isn't used significantly in modern times because it is inefficient.
The fact that this dude almost got blown up by his own device kinda legitimizes him as a scientist.
I live NM, I'm interested in building pyrolysis machine. I've followed your channel the last few months. I'm a certified welder that has been running I'm own business since 2017. There some much waste plastic in the state, tha gets thrown out and not disposed of.
And then what do you do with it once it’s captured
We need scientists to continue to grow and expand. You only get this through experimenting with things. Keep going don't stop.
So true, so many people are just complaining and yet atleast he's actually doing something he loves and is passionate about while there not doing anything.
@@minxironwood so many discoveries have come from error on completely different subjects they were studying. It's important!
So you make whats essentially a cancer machine in your backyard don’t take the necessary safety precautions and when you get called out on it in a respectful manner your like “trust the process bro”
I don’t agree with all of your arguments but I think there’s merit to the idea of using a closed pyrolysis system to dispose of plastic waste
I like to think of scientists like doctors. If they sound like this guy, i dont want them as my doctor.
You have a remarkable brain
Eh its neat and all that but too expensive. Its better just to burn tye plastic in a power plant with emission controls. Like Singapore (i dont think their emissions are strict )
Where are you containing these toxins? The "fertilizer"? The exhaust?
Both the exhaust, the “fertilizer”, and more than likely it’s going right back into the final product, such as the benzene

This dude just knows how easy it is to get people to support if he speaks like he knows what he is talking about he is clearly a scammer basicly
Just like the guy that criticized him that hasn’t done anything but mix vinegar and peroxide. He obviously knows more than the guy who is building machines by himself from scratch 😂
@@ZoPoundAbroad This tech has existed since the 60s. If you did your research and formed your opinions based on fact you would have a leg to argue on
