Here's the video breaking down how the reactor works: • I turn Plastics into F...
I believe with the world wide crisis we are facing now, we require a world wide solution. And this is why I believe we need decentralized devices such as this Reactor. Think about it, even if there is just 1 reactor in every community, that will put a huge dent in plastic waste and pollution.
Due to this, I do not wish to make a singular specialized Reactor, once I master and complete this one, I want to make all different types, of all different scales and sizes.

This is awesome. I have been trying to lower my cost of living and finding ways to be more efficient. I work in large plants and I noticed how much of their waste is used or sold for other products and I thought, I can try and use my waste also, so I got worms, chickens, and pigs, so they take all food waste except for meat, the composting worms eat the rotten food. I started scrapping my aluminum cans, and burning all paper and cardboard, so I was pretty much just throwing away plastic. I bought a 3d printer and was looking at trying to use some of that plastic to make filament but then covid ended and I was back to long hours at work, but this is a great use if I understand what you are doing here, this is the first video I found of yours, so I'll have to go back and check the earlier ones.

I’m sure you’re doing the research behind this if it’s not already known, but what do you know what temperatures with the distiller produces what fuels? Also, I’m not sure if it’s possible for you to have a machine to test your fuel output so that you can dial it in. I’ve played with distillation as far as making alcohol 😂, but that’s a big part of it just because a lot of the the output can be extremely toxic to ingest. Like some of the First output can be acetone. Also, I’m pretty sure that’s what makes people that made moonshine back in prohibition days go blind. But I hope you have a speedy recovery.💪🏽

Your ambition is out of this world. I love your attitude. Some of these things you are doing, though, are incredibly dangerous. I happen to have a chemical engineering degree and years of experience in the field. I don't claim to be an expert in plastic pyrolysis using microwaves, but I have learned a thing or two about process safety. The gas collection and distillation are especially concerning. Plastics are great at building static charge. The use in the process is not recommended. These sorts of processes are usually done in facilities with explosion proof equipment, careful attention to grounding and bonding and the oversite of a PSM program. Even the gaskets on the tri clamp fittings break grounding continuity. They should be electrically bonded (wired together) and tested for continuity to ground. Eliminate as much plastic as possible. Nitrogen is a great idea for keeping an inert atmosphere, but even nitrogen has special hazards. Just one breath of concentrated nitrogen can cause a person to stop breathing. Please use water to purge the headspace on the propane tanks before cutting into them too. The temperature stall during distallation means you are distilling a certain product. Thermodynamic information such as phase diagrams and equilibrium curves can help understand what products you may be making. Please look into a chemical engineering program. The analysis needed on your products, the design considerations for your equipment, process safety and even process control/automation are covered in the coursework. You have the ambition and curiosity to do well. I really wished I lived near you. I would love to help. Please stay safe and keep up the good work.

Ive thought of an additional revenue. You can cook circuit boards too? They have all kinds of rare and precious metals in them. Since its in a oxygen free environment they should be fine right? The scrap yard near me pays 20-40 cent a pound on boards. So if you can extract at least that much money worth of metal out of them you will profit. Plus your oil. Also i figure this is crazy but could we power this with the sun? Like a flash light shape the old kind. Big lens on one side tilt it toward the sun and let it cook like that? We need a cheaper fuel source to maximize profit form this. Ive always been interested in the suns energy potential its 1370 watts a sq meter. So you are using? 5000 watts? Maybe 10k? Then sadly we would need almost 10 sq meters to concentrate of light. Still i think the potential is there.

That cooler is not overkill, is it really? With the temperatures of the gas your trying to condense, would the water temp be hard to keep down with a smaller cooler pump? Couldn't the reason you had gas/oil forming in your propane capture filter in a previous video is because the condensing unit is not cooling and condensing the gasses down fast enough before it leaves it because the water temps aren't getting low enough and staying low enough throughout the process? Wouldn't a bigger cooler, able to keep more water and cooler temps be better? Or, are you reaching a thermal cooling limit, like you do with computer water cooling systems?

It doesn't sound like "alien shit" to me when you use the correct terminology. In fact, I think it makes it quite clear and concise. Hope you keep getting more and more support! Thank you for always explaining!

Dude, next time first remove the valve on propane tank. Fill it with water to overflow to force out any trapped gasses. Much safer than drilling a hole. Valve should be able to come off easy enough with a pipe wrench

That great and all but is it worth the effort ? Or is it even slightly efficient and produce more fuel than waste ? Considering how cheap it is to buy a liter of fuel how much would it cost you to make a liter with scrap plastic ? Is it better to turn it into fuel or reuse the plastic to make other plastic products ?

And not talking about that technology already exists (good luck to compete with the other designers)

Basically a multiday/hour long process for minimal pay. This would only be good for the random horder guy somewhere that has 10 tons of plastic

@@neoshade6462 you need to gather a lot to make a few liter of fuel then . . . . And what the composition of the fuel ? What if it’s to dirty to run a car ?

If you’re smart & you make something that could harm the oil industry, they’ll kill you
If you’re smart and you make something that can’t harm the oil industry, they won’t harm you
    You’re alive
Therefore, you can’t harm the oil industry, therefore, you’ve made something that does…something….but it’s not substantial enough to change anything
    You’ve done…something
