All Hallows Eve was definitely one of the movies that really scaried me, Art the clown at the final act of the movie where your watching the babysitter finish the movie such a well put together and effective scene
Exorcist 3. Haven't seen it in a while but I remember it had a really unsettling atmosphere throughout. Also has one of the best jump scares ever in a horror film
My date screamed at that jump scene with such genuine terror that the rest of the theater audience broke out into laughter. That was 30 years ago and I still laugh about it.😂
Great list, Lee. "The Thing" is really scary, I was terrified because of the scene with the dog transformation. You should watch "Salem's Lot". Reggie Nalder as the vampire Kurt Barlow is scary as hell and it also has some great scenes. Also, "The Omen" with Gregory Peck has scary moments and the great soundtrack.
And this is not per-say a scary movie, but the scene in Salem's Lot where the kid is floating in the air and scratching at the window is the ultimate "I can't get that visual out of mind" creepfest.
My Grandpa showed me Salem’s Lot when I was 4 and this scene traumatized me. Would not sleep facing a window my entire childhood haha. Still gives me the creeps.
Sinister is my #1 scariest movie. The ending is flawed, but the rest of the movie just creates this atmospheric dread that terrifies me. And the soundtrack chills me to my bone
Yeah, I think Sinister is still the scariest movie I’ve ever seen, but there’s so many others. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is killer as well, especially for the time it came out.

@You Didn't See Graphite, Because It's Not There so many lists for horror genre had this on their top scariest but I didn't find either scary at ALL . Creepy yes.
Great list Lee. You and I are definitely the same age as I found myself going “Yes!” to each selection. A couple from the 70s I loved growing up as well we’re the original Omen and The Amityville Horror.
This is a great list, man! I have a top 10 scariest list in the making and I can confidently say, my list is completely different! But I do agree with all of the movies on this list.
Some scary movies I've seen that stuck with me/disturbed me the most were the original Last House on the Left, Suspiria(both versions), Rosemary's Baby, Cannibal Holocaust, Sinister, Hereditary, Audition, High Tension, and the original Black Christmas. I also think Prince of Darkness and Alice, Sweet Alice are great underrated gems. Also the first 20-25 minutes of the original When a Stranger Calls is very effective.
Creepshow - Used to me freak me out as a kid, the atmosphere in all 5 stories just gave me the chills, still kinda do but not as much as it used to, but the special effects are just so effective and creepy, the music is just bone-chilling, and just overall a very effective movie and one of the best horror movies of all time. The Strangers is also one that really freaked me out, just the thought of being tormented at random and not knowing why it is happening is just bone-chilling, also the fact that it’s based on a true story is really horrifying !
Awesome list Lee! I 100% agree with you that "The Exorcist" should be #1. Everytime I think of that film I get shivers. The only film I would've added is TERRIFIER.
That one scene in The Wailing in the cave definitely was scary. And a little lesser known movie called deathdream that movie is probably one of the scariest movie I've ever seen . Also Let's scare Jessica to death was also scary .
I use to love swimming in the ocean because of the positive buoyancy. I was swimming up near Monterey Bay in NorCal and I felt the water rise around me and something bump into my leg. I looked around and didn't see anything until a very large fin broke the water about 10 yards from me... and then disappeared beneath the waves. I've NEVER been so scared as I was then. I literally couldn't move. Eventually I returned to shore very slowly and laid on the hot firm sand for quite some time. This is why 'Jaws' is my scariest horror movie of all time.
I saw the original Texas Chainsaw in the theater when I was 16. Even though I’ve seen it now 100 times, that very first viewing in the theater as a young teenager STILL makes my heart pound if I close my eyes and remember it. And I’m 57 now!
Man I can't even imagine seeing that in the theater when it first came out. I have a thing for cultural phenomenons in cinema, and just the climate at the time. It must have been electric!
Well Lee, it came out in 74. I was only 11. But, since there was no video options it just stayed on the theater circuit. When I was 16 in ‘79 it made its way back to Texarkana, my hometown. Yes the Town that Dreaded Sundown🔪, and my brother and I bought tickets to another movie then snuck in because we were under age. Only like 18-20 people in the theater. Still they were getting up and leaving. At the end when Sally is in the truck and Leatherface is swinging the saw....we were the only ones left. And we were scared to walk to the car. That night still haunts me bro! 🤣
I went with a group of people to watch The Blair Witch Project and we also thought it was real footage that was found. That is the most shook I've ever been in the theater. My knees were actually weak and I had to sit after the movie ended for a few minutes to regain my composure so I completely understand how you felt.
This a fantastic list. Thank you for including It Follows. The first time I saw that in the theater, I was thinking about it for days after. My only disagreement on the list is The Witch (which put me to sleep rather than scare me) but that's just a personal opinion. Love these lists!!
The first time I saw Texas Chainsaw, I yelled "oh shit!" so loud when Leatherface popped out of the trees to get Franklin, my dad came in my room to see if I was ok
Loved your list! The only ones I'd add are suspiria, Halloween 4, & the descent. I'd also add autopsy of Jane doe as my sleeper pick cause no one seems to talk about the unbearable tension in that film that sustains the whole runtime.
Yessss the autopsy of Jane Doe was sooo good!!! Usually I'm very disappointed in newer horror films but that one and the invisible man I was surprised by
You nailed it man! Nice. I'd have a hard time not squeezing Exorcist 3 in there and the Susperia remake. The best thing about doing "Top lists" ...they're also fun to change. Cheers!
Great list. Candyman scared the hell out of me when it came out. I was 9. Seriously thought he could be summoned. As an adult, Cannibal Holocaust truly disturbed me, left me feeling unclean.
Oh my gosh! I’m so excited that you mentioned demons in your honorable mentions. One and two is arguably the best 1 2 punch in horror history in terms of how good they are together. The beyond is the best!!!!
Nice list there Lee, though I wouldn't put The Blair Witch Project on my list. Since I was one of the lucky ones who saw The Exorcist in the theaters back during the day and yes, people either threw up or ran out of the theaters during the movie. That is why it's my number one horror movie of all time.
Exorcist was special, so much things that was never scene in a movie will definitely have an interesting affect on a person and to experience a revolutionary movie on the big screen had to be special
I found it to be very long and drawn-out and not much happened so I would say that it was weak and boring as well. It just didn't have anything happening most of the time and the danger was vague and some people say it's an STD and some people say it's something else but I don't really need an allegory for something that follows you the rest of your life like an STD because sometimes those can be cured and sometimes those can be treated. And it just felt boring.
Nice list Lee, I would really struggle to do a list of films that scared me cause I don’t scare easily. I mean I jump at jump scares and get creeped out now and then but I’ve never really been terrified afterwards where I can’t sleep. The Strangers scared me in that it really creeped me out but when the film ends I’m always OK. My love of horror is more cause I think it’s cool AF.
Great list, Lee👍🏼Here is mine: 1. Twin Peaks 2. Texas chainsaw massacre 3. Martyrs 4. Exorcist 5. The fog 6. Suspiria 7. Halloween 8. Friday the 13th part 2 9. Mulholland Drive 10. The Beyond
I saw The Thing at 12 and it remains my favorite movie. I never tire of watching it. I think Hereditary and It Follows are the first movies worthy of approaching the top 10 in 20+ years.
The Paranormal Activity movies always got me, especially the ending of the first one. Also, Sinister still scares me to this day. Probably the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. A lot of the found footage stuff scares the shit out of me too lol
I wanted to put at least one effective found footage movie on here, but you are not kidding about the first Paranormal Activity. That last scene got me good!
I find most of the Paranormal Activity movies to be really solid and really good to watch. There's little moments that you don't notice at first like the movement of the dots in one of them and other shadows and it all comes together when you re-watch it, you notice little tiny details all over the place.
I would say The Ring, that movie made me feel "gray" inside. There was such a sense of "something is not right about what i'm watching here"...not to mention the scene when the daughter is found in the closet during the otherwise subdued dishwashing while chatting. I really could not comprehend what I just saw...
Sinister Paranormal activitie And blair witch project are the only movies that really stayed with me after i watched it. For me it is the realistic vibe that gets me
OH Yeah! Here is my list in no particular order: 1. Pet Sematary (1989) 2. The Shining 3. Suspiria 4. City of the Living Dead 5. The Beyond 6. A Nightmare on Elm Street 7. The Conjuring 8. Insidious 9. Tourist Trap 10. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 11. Prince of Darkness 12. In the Mouth of Madness 13. The Evil Dead (1981) 14. Kill Baby Kill: My favorite horror movie of all time. It's not balls out horrifying, but it is very eerie. There are more movies on the list than I thought. I guess horror movies can scare me. If I had to pick the scariest, it would be Pet Sematary. I call these types of horror movies "Visual Nightmares" because you are witnessing such frightening imagery that you can not escape, only you are awake.
Pet Sematary is the movie, but all anyone needs to say is....Zelda. In the book that back story was scary AF.....then they made it scarier in the movie....I was 21 when it came out and had nightmares about it. Her screaming never get out of bed again....ugh
@@anitaknight3915 Pascow never got to me...well the first jump scare where he grabs Lewis and comes back to life is a good one, but I didn't find him scary, maybe because he was trying to help? Zelda though....I was 21 when it came out so not a kid and we're talking the 80's I'd seen countless slasher and gore flicks, but her...I remember being in my house and whenever UI had to open the door to go into my bedroom thinking....what if she was in my bed? That was while i was awake LOL I had the pleasure of seeing the new remake with my daughters (30/27) and we all love it, but it was a great sense of bonding as I instilled my love of horror into both of them. My wife hates horror and loves romance and Disney...but oh, well I love her anyway
The Amityville of Horror (1979) Original film, always scare me to death, the creepy sound & music gives me the goosebumps, James Brolin does a very Scary performance as George Lutz, The Story I do find Interesting, The Amityville House is petty Scary, and Do find this movie a Very Scary film it gives me the chills & goosebumps everytime I see it and do find the film very Underrated. Great video Drumdum on horror movies that scared you, The Exorcist is also Great and Scary horror film.
@@DrumdumsOfficial That's cool Drumdum we all have different opinion on a film to like or not, but for me Amityville of Horror Scared me cause I watched it on VHS as a Kid Growing up and still now it always gave me the chills, but still thank for your comment.
@@Juno-ue9vs Read the book. I think it is more scary than the movie. I always believed if they would have done the movie just like the book was written it could have been the 2nd most scariest movie. Of course the Exorcist will always be number one.
@@jeffpatton2866 I should read the novel, I did read the exorcist novel that was good too, but I should read The Amityville of Horror, and do like the movie it creep me out.
No other movie got under my skin as effectively as the first time I saw Event Horizon. When I saw a man holding out his own gouged-out eyes... like some priest from hell offering you communion... and speaking to you in Latin, *while smiling*... not just the image, but not knowing exactly what he experienced that could have caused him to do that... it made Jack Nicholson running around with an axe seem pretty tame in comparison. Btw great list! Glad to see you include Fulci, I hope you'll check out City of the Living Dead some day. Also love that you included Demons, I love that one! Long live the '80's!
My TOP TEN: 1. The Ring. 2002 2. The Strangers. 2008 3. Carrie. 1976 4. Dawn of the Dead. 2004 5. An American Werewolf in London. 1981 6. JEEPERS CREEPERS. 2001 7. Signs. 2002 8. Frailty. 2001 9. Jeepers creepers lol it's not scary 😂 But you put 30 days of night as an honourable mention Now that film was TERRIFYING The ring freaked me out ( original Japanese version not the crappy american remake)
Here are my top 10 scariest horror films I've seen. Not in order except top 2. Comment what you think of my list. 1. Halloween (1978)/Black Christmas (1974) 2. Alien 3. Paranormal Activity 4. The Blair Witch Project 5. The Shining 6. The VVitch 7. Insidious 8. The Exorcist 9. The Haunting (1963) 10. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Great list, a lot of good ones on here. The Exorcist definitely is one of the scariest movies I’ve seen too. I still remember that uneasy feeling I got after watching it for the first time. Not many movies do that
My favourite scariest films The shining Orphan Eden lake It follows Halloween The last house on the left I spit on your grave Hereditary Pet sematary Carrie
@@thomaswoodcock6017 when you put on your list I spit on your grave & last house on the left, did they genuinely scare you? Because I moreso think they are eeary and deeply unsettling disturbing not scary but then again it's scary the things that could really happen to you in real life as opposed to a monster
@@DrumdumsOfficial yesss seeing him standing in that corner and finding the teeth. The emotional toll of seeing them get further lost in the woods exhausted was effective.

Awesome list bro, my fave scary movie is definitely Halloween 1978 but, I gotta go with the exorcist for the scariest. And again awesome list, and as always awesome video keep it up my veteran brother
Drumdums, i am a long time subscriber. Love all your videos brother. This was a very good list. Heavy hitters. I wanted to tell you i have never seen any of the Italian style horrors. I watch every kind of horror from domestic to international. So i watched The Beyond on Shudder a couple nights ago. Phenomenal movie. I absolutely loved it. The gore and effects were just awesome. That was the only one on your list i had not seen. I know your a big fan of that sub genre but i just never got around to it. I will be exploring way further now into these Italian horrors and slashers. Thank you sir.
@@DrumdumsOfficial anytime dude. I think h2 1981 is light years scarier than the original. Maybe one day ill have the platform to express that argument haha

Nice list! The Exorcist, Halloween, and TCM are honestly three of my favorite movies of all time! When I was a kid, The Ring was one that scared the crap out of me when I first saw it. I think it's actually still one of the best PG-13 horror movies. And while it might seem dumb now, for some reason the opening scene of Ghost Ship traumatized the living piss out of me as a kid to the point where I couldn't watch scary movies for a while. I know you've reviewed High Tension but I was wondering if you've seen the French horror films Martyrs and Inside. These are seriously two of the most shocking messed up movies I've seen in a long time. Martyrs will especially leave you shook and wondering what you just watched, I don't think any movie has disturbed or scared me more as an adult. And while both are easily as gory, if not more so than High Tension, they're also way way better movies in my opinion, again especially Martyrs. It has a lot of thought provoking stuff in it.
I remember watching Blair Witch in the theater (I was 9) and I was totally blown away! I thought it was absolutely real. I was obsessed with horror and witches, my first time seeing Halloween was when I was 3 with my Mom. She loves horror Movies and let me dig into it instead of run away and I'm so glad she did!! Even she freaked out over Blair Witch!
Drums, Black Christmas definitely deserves a spot on the list in my opinion, completely creeped me out when I was a kid! The rest of the list I agree with for sure! Ps... will the Slaughter High review be coming out soon? Can't wait for that one lol
Great Ranking, Lee! In addition to the films you mentioned, Jaws, the Amityville horror, and Prince of Darkness were pretty scary. Those dream scenes had a sense of dread.
Man this video brought back some memories... as a kid I used to be so scared of Hellraiser that I literally prayed every night so I wouldn’t dream with Pinhead!!! Awesome list!!!
Nice work! One of my most frightening experiences when watching a movie was when I was 9 and seeing this horror anthology film (a film i can't remember the name of and have been laboriously tracking down over the years but to no avail) that I believe was either produced in the late 80's or early 90's. One of the stories involved a freakish, 7 foot two-headed monster laying waste to i believe a doctor's clinic and i distinctively remember a blonde nurse working at the reception and shrieking with the two-headed monster decapitating her with blood profusely spraying along the walls. Honestly man, this monster would be little kids worst nightmare in which thank god I never had one though it did deter me from watching another horror movie for several months.

I'd have a hard time not squeezing Exorcist 3 in there and the Susperia remake. The best thing about doing "Top lists" ...they're also fun to change. Cheers!
Yeah I’m thinking about doing a part II actually.
I like Rosemary’s Baby. Also, Salvage.
Classic
Great list. Candyman scared the hell out of me when it came out. I was 9. Seriously thought he could be summoned. As an adult, Cannibal Holocaust truly disturbed me, left me feeling unclean.
I’m a Christian and movies that deal with demonic spirits and possessions always scare me the most.
Me too, BigRooster. Jesus spoke of Possessions in the Bible.
Damn I'm so jealous you got to see The Exorcist in the theater. Must have been a wild time.
@@DrumdumsOfficial , Yes it was. Nobody saw a movie like The Exorcist before. Those lines you see on videos back then were real.
Exorcist was special, so much things that was never scene in a movie will definitely have an interesting affect on a person and to experience a revolutionary movie on the big screen had to be special
Great list and great video Lee !!!!
Thank you Vini!
Candy man is underrated in retrospective acclaim
great list mate
A nightmare on Elm street is My Number 1 choice, Freddy scared me For years as a kid
Nice list. I disagree that you didn't put Frailty on the list, but there are some good ones on it.
It Follows is THE best modern Horror film I’ve seen. It had the early 80s vibe to it that worked so well.
I thought it was boring and weak.
My Top 5 HM.
1. JEEPERS CREEPERS. (2001)
2. FEAR. (1996)
3. Halloween ll. (1981)
4. SIGNS. (2002)
5. The Strangers. (2008)
Great list, Lee👍🏼Here is mine:
1. Twin Peaks
2. Texas chainsaw massacre
3. Martyrs
4. Exorcist
5. The fog
6. Suspiria
7. Halloween
8. Friday the 13th part 2
9. Mulholland Drive
10. The Beyond
The first Howling movie was the first movie that ever gave me nightmares.
The first4paranormal activity movies were all awesome...
I find most of the Paranormal Activity movies to be really solid and really good to watch. There's little moments that you don't notice at first like the movement of the dots in one of them and other shadows and it all comes together when you re-watch it, you notice little tiny details all over the place.
Great list, Lee. Love that t-shirt btw!
I would say The Ring, that movie made me feel "gray" inside. There was such a sense of "something is not right about what i'm watching here"...not to mention the scene when the daughter is found in the closet during the otherwise subdued dishwashing while chatting. I really could not comprehend what I just saw...
Yes! The Ring really surprised me actually.
More of a top 15 really, I’m late, but I’m excited!
Hard to argue with your list although I think Jaws was overlooked.
I was so glad that you included The Evil Dead. Also A Nightmare on Elm Street is one of my Favorites. Great list
Mousie Spanks Thank you. No scary list would be complete without both.
@@DrumdumsOfficial I agree completely
Scariest movies let’s go!
New subscriber here. Love the content. Keep up the great work!
Sinister
Paranormal activitie
And blair witch project are the only movies that really stayed with me after i watched it. For me it is the realistic vibe that gets me
Great video... great list!! Exorcist at number one couldn't agree more! I still get the chills everytime I watch that movie!
Yep. It's still so good, and timeless.
OH Yeah! Here is my list in no particular order:
1. Pet Sematary (1989)
2. The Shining
3. Suspiria
4. City of the Living Dead
5. The Beyond
6. A Nightmare on Elm Street
7. The Conjuring
8. Insidious
9. Tourist Trap
10. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
11. Prince of Darkness
12. In the Mouth of Madness
13. The Evil Dead (1981)
Thank you for mentioning Suspiria. Some genuinely creepy and beautiful scenes in that film.
Pet Sematary is the movie, but all anyone needs to say is....Zelda. In the book that back story was scary AF.....then they made it scarier in the movie....I was 21 when it came out and had nightmares about it. Her screaming never get out of bed again....ugh
@@theblackflame4002 yessss Zelda & Pascow gave me damn nightmares as a kid!!! That movie genuinely scared me. Most movies aren't scary today
That was while i was awake LOL
I had the pleasure of seeing the new remake with my daughters (30/27) and we all love it, but it was a great sense of bonding as I instilled my love of horror into both of them. My wife hates horror and loves romance and Disney...but oh, well I love her anyway
Good picks and good video Lee ! One question though were did you get the shirt? Halloween 6 is one of my favorites!
It was on one of those limited time Facebook ads. I got lucky. Fright Rags used to have it from what I hear.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Alrighty I'll check it out thanks Lee
The Amityville of Horror (1979) Original film, always scare me to death, the creepy sound & music gives me the goosebumps, James Brolin does a very Scary performance as George Lutz, The Story I do find Interesting, The Amityville House is petty Scary, and Do find this movie a Very Scary film it gives me the chills & goosebumps everytime I see it and do find the film very Underrated. Great video Drumdum on horror movies that scared you, The Exorcist is also Great and Scary horror film.
For some reason I can never remember Amityville. I've seen it twice I think. I didn't find it to be that scary though.
GEt,,,out!
Definitely! Event Horizon really surprised me!
Race with the devil, one of my favourites.
Mine too, john grahamg.
great list lee felt exactly the same about TCM halloweens just around the corner buddy
My TOP TEN:
1. The Ring. 2002
2. The Strangers. 2008
3. Carrie. 1976
4. Dawn of the Dead. 2004
5. An American Werewolf in London. 1981
6. JEEPERS CREEPERS. 2001
7. Signs. 2002
8. Frailty. 2001
9. SAW. 2004
10. The Fly. 1986
Hm's:
The Sixth Sense. 1999
The Grudge. 2004
Child's Play 2. 1990
Red Eye. 2005
30 Days of Night. 2007
Yess! I think Jeepers Creepers is underrated tbh
Jeepers creepers lol it's not scary 😂
But you put 30 days of night as an honourable mention
Now that film was TERRIFYING
The ring freaked me out ( original Japanese version not the crappy american remake)
Great video. Seems we have similar taste. I was getting worried The Thing wasn't gonna be in there!
Here are my top 10 scariest horror films I've seen. Not in order except top 2. Comment what you think of my list.
1. Halloween (1978)/Black Christmas (1974)
2. Alien
3. Paranormal Activity
4. The Blair Witch Project
5. The Shining
6. The VVitch
7. Insidious
8. The Exorcist
9. The Haunting (1963)
10. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
My one regret: Not putting Black Christmas on here.
@@DrumdumsOfficial LOL!
People give a lot of shit to Paranormal Activity, but it definitely scares the shit out of me when I first saw it, especially that ending.
I love how you spelled the witch with two capital Vs
Great list, a lot of good ones on here. The Exorcist definitely is one of the scariest movies I’ve seen too. I still remember that uneasy feeling I got after watching it for the first time. Not many movies do that
Yeah for me The Exorcist just doesn't age.
My favourite scariest films
The shining
Orphan
Eden lake
It follows
Halloween
The last house on the left
I spit on your grave
Hereditary
Pet sematary
Carrie
Some NICE mentions Tom. Especially Orphan and Eden Lake.
Thanks very much lee looking forward to your next video great list of choice as well
The ending in Eden Lake is so fucked up
Anthony Hill especially if you're English and see people like that daily!
@@thomaswoodcock6017 when you put on your list I spit on your grave & last house on the left, did they genuinely scare you? Because I moreso think they are eeary and deeply unsettling disturbing not scary but then again it's scary the things that could really happen to you in real life as opposed to a monster
I love your emphasis on “personally” like don’t come at me bahaha... great list🤘🏼
And they still keep coming Lindsay.😂😂😂
Drumdums of course they do! Keep giving them something to bitch about 😂
Lindsay Gartner 😂😂😂
Blair witch in 99 scary as shit I think people seriously forget how real it felt
Agreed! That last 20 minutes is hella effective.
Yes
@@DrumdumsOfficial yesss seeing him standing in that corner and finding the teeth. The emotional toll of seeing them get further lost in the woods exhausted was effective.
Hey Lee big hello from Dublin Ireland. Sorry for not joining you live I just woke up and its 2.30 am over here but I just wanna say I'm lovin this vid so far! Keep up the good work bro!!!
Thank you my friend. I really want to visit Ireland one day. Beautiful country.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Hey no probs if you do go just let me know and I can point out some of the more nicer places or tourist spots. Oh and just watched your fave Hulk episodes the first pts 1 and 2 today. Hope your well settled in after your move a few months back
I started watching horror since as a baby, so it's impossible for me to find any horror movie scary lol,
but loved your video :)
I agree on all choices from the dark corner of my room. Thanks for a fun video Lee!
Dude i’ll never forget watching the Blair witch in the theater, like you I thought it was real at the time. I walked out of there just shellshocked with what I saw. Amazing stuff!!
Solid list, Lee!!!♥️♥️
Thank you Gabby!!
Man i love ur top ten vids lee! Keep it up bro
Thank you!
Thank you sir.
korydreagan Thank you so much Kory! You’re going to LOVE Italian horror. So addictive.
Great list, Lee! Just a funny nitpick. With It Follows, you showed the girl without the bloodsplat censor first and then you censored it afterwards.
The Exorcist is absolutely brilliant. Your top 5 was just about perfect.
You nailed it again! I’m adding The Gates of Hell, because it scared me so badly in my teens (many moons ago, on VHS)
Nice list Lee
Your #1 pick freaks me out so much I won’t even have have a copy of the DVD 📀 in my house.
great video boss. I agree the exorcist is the scariest
Thanks my brother!!
@@DrumdumsOfficial anytime dude. I think h2 1981 is light years scarier than the original. Maybe one day ill have the platform to express that argument haha
@@xanderraymondcharles I would LOVE to hear you talk movies brother. You're a natural. If you ever want to come on DDLive and talk horror/music let me know.
@@DrumdumsOfficial yessir you just say the word!
1 The Thing(1982)
2 The Shining(1980)
3 The Exorcist(1973)
4 Halloween(1978)
5 A Nightmare on Elm Street(1984)
6 The Texas ChainSaw Massacre(1974)
7 The Omen(1976)
8 Carrie(1976)
9 Scream(1996)
10 Suspiria
The scariest films I’ve seen : Halloween, Jacob’s Ladder and Hereditary. Troubling stuff for me at various ages 💀
Great list. Couldn't of made a better list if i tried. Keep it ☝
Thank you!
I will always treasure the theater experience of this movie because I thought it was real.
love your stuff my man keep it up from uk ❤❤
Thank you Chris!
@@DrumdumsOfficial welcome dude
Very awesome list 👍👍👍👍👍
Drums, Black Christmas definitely deserves a spot on the list in my opinion, completely creeped me out when I was a kid!
The rest of the list I agree with for sure!
Ps... will the Slaughter High review be coming out soon? Can't wait for that one lol
I agree with you actually.
Great Ranking, Lee! In addition to the films you mentioned, Jaws, the Amityville horror, and Prince of Darkness were pretty scary. Those dream scenes had a sense of dread.
Damn Prince of Darkness is soooo good. I almost put Jaws on the list. That opening scene packs a punch.
Man this video brought back some memories... as a kid I used to be so scared of Hellraiser that I literally prayed every night so I wouldn’t dream with Pinhead!!!
Awesome list!!!
Yes! Hellraiser was unlike anything at the time. Really scary stuff.
