It is not a shopping mall but ( known as ) a department store ( many different departments inside one large store ). Harrods, Macys, Bloomingdale’s, Selfridges, House of Fraser to name a few are all of the same style of stores and are not classified as Malls. In Europe we call Malls shopping Centres which have many different shops and boutiques and can be interior complexes as well as exterior.
