gangplanks kit is just so perfect, one of the best in the game imo. it’s simple, but has a lot of nuance and hidden complexity, fits the “pirate” theme perfectly, and allows for a ton of skill expression. so cool
Thats me tried gp bc every one says he is op i was 2 17 4 and stoped playing him rn i main him and bully everybody after 2 items but my laning is still not that good in conclusion he is insanely hard but yes he is op

@@kaganturk4968 I play mainly Azir, Corki, Ezreal and pretty much know everything about them now, but when I was learning them 1 year and 2 years ago there were few full complete guides that gave me everything I needed for azir, and I had to piece together everything from multiple guides. Corki guides were just "guides", which was gameplay and not really a guide. However searching up now I'm finding some fully fleshed out guides from this year, so that's good I guess
Just for some motivation to those that tried Gangplank in ranked after watching this video and demoted. I started playing Gangplank when I watched his previous ultimate Gangplank guide, I was plat 2 and then demoted to plat 4 just spamming him cause even though I was still learning the champ and losing, I was having fun. Now, I've climbed to plat 1 and 2 wins and promos to d4 ONLY using GP. Thanks for the guide SB!

Hi, i just started GP and i like him, easier to play then i thought. As a starter, no brain setup, would you recommand Grasp of First strike as always rune setup?
Idk if anyone will see this but if you can't do the 1 part combo, walk to the barrel with auto walk and whilst your character is walking place the barrel (obviously you need to be almost withing or in q range). In retrospect it seems obvious from the video or in general but for some reason I completely missed it.
@Solarbacca would you recommend Deaths Daughter Upgrade if you like Dark Harvest Gangplank? Or is it still better to only do it with the heavy cc composition teams?
I gotta say I get insane value from bone plating against fiora. I am not sure on this one but I think when She Q's you on a vital it counts as two instances of dmg and therefore bone plating blocks the dmg from the vital proc.
Having E on indirect cast was the best change that happened for me to learn GP, as i saw that Solarbacca used indirect E casting. It makes you explode the barrel to very far range with the e - e combo, or e e flash e
I meant my E is on normal cast. Solar also has Q on normal cast but i can't do quick combos with Q. When you put normal cast on E, you can actually do astonishing long range barrels. Otherwise, you long range is "luck" or experience, but as a new GP you don't have the experience
Don't know if he mentioned it but against champs that have shields (like riven) you can bait out the shield by walking up and spamming the first emote because the animation is so simmilar to Q. At least in lower elos the riven will press E pretty much every time :)
Bacca, regarding vik top, i am a vik otp on eune kinda hs right now :((, but vik has a principle like gp's, ur mana is ur hp ,bcs viks trades always should have a q which has an ap scaling shield, so i think on gp s end against it u need those biscuits especialy after geting poked from half the lane just like xerath, vik s doesnt trade collateral like jayce or karma bcs vik has sustain for staying on lane even till lvl 5 even and he wants to freeze that
A funny thing on anatema/hullbreaker, they both force the enemy team to do something unconfortable Anatema's force the "exhausted" one out of your lane and hullbreaker forces the enemy team to 5v5, since they cant match u on the side lane (this only work if u are ahead for obvious reasons), so u can buy anatemas and split knowing he probably wont come (the exhausted one) or u can force 5v5 when ahead by just buying hullbreaker. This only work when the enemy team have a brain, if they dont know shit about macro everything i said is useless.
No a lot of mus solar in particular they really can’t do much they just get thanosed even if they know what gp is going to do they can’t really stop it considering he wins most mus anyway
Only when ahead (u and at last 2 more), this way u can force 5v5s since they cant match u on the side lane, but i would go for the funny item (deaths dance)

@@kaganturk4968 I play mainly Azir, Corki, Ezreal and pretty much know everything about them now, but when I was learning them 1 year and 2 years ago there were few full complete guides that gave me everything I needed for azir, and I had to piece together everything from multiple guides. Corki guides were just "guides", which was gameplay and not really a guide.
However searching up now I'm finding some fully fleshed out guides from this year, so that's good I guess
Just for some motivation to those that tried Gangplank in ranked after watching this video and demoted. I started playing Gangplank when I watched his previous ultimate Gangplank guide, I was plat 2 and then demoted to plat 4 just spamming him cause even though I was still learning the champ and losing, I was having fun. Now, I've climbed to plat 1 and 2 wins and promos to d4 ONLY using GP. Thanks for the guide SB!

Idk if anyone will see this but if you can't do the 1 part combo, walk to the barrel with auto walk and whilst your character is walking place the barrel (obviously you need to be almost withing or in q range). In retrospect it seems obvious from the video or in general but for some reason I completely missed it.

I gotta say I get insane value from bone plating against fiora. I am not sure on this one but I think when She Q's you on a vital it counts as two instances of dmg and therefore bone plating blocks the dmg from the vital proc.

Having E on indirect cast was the best change that happened for me to learn GP, as i saw that Solarbacca used indirect E casting. It makes you explode the barrel to very far range with the e - e combo, or e e flash e
what do you mean indirect cast? do you mean with the barrel range indicator?
I meant my E is on normal cast. Solar also has Q on normal cast but i can't do quick combos with Q.
When you put normal cast on E, you can actually do astonishing long range barrels.
Otherwise, you long range is "luck" or experience, but as a new GP you don't have the experience

Don't know if he mentioned it but against champs that have shields (like riven) you can bait out the shield by walking up and spamming the first emote because the animation is so simmilar to Q. At least in lower elos the riven will press E pretty much every time :)

Bacca, regarding vik top, i am a vik otp on eune kinda hs right now :((, but vik has a principle like gp's, ur mana is ur hp ,bcs viks trades always should have a q which has an ap scaling shield, so i think on gp s end against it u need those biscuits especialy after geting poked from half the lane just like xerath, vik s doesnt trade collateral like jayce or karma bcs vik has sustain for staying on lane even till lvl 5 even and he wants to freeze that

A funny thing on anatema/hullbreaker, they both force the enemy team to do something unconfortable
Anatema's force the "exhausted" one out of your lane and hullbreaker forces the enemy team to 5v5, since they cant match u on the side lane (this only work if u are ahead for obvious reasons), so u can buy anatemas and split knowing he probably wont come (the exhausted one) or u can force 5v5 when ahead by just buying hullbreaker.
This only work when the enemy team have a brain, if they dont know shit about macro everything i said is useless.

Only when ahead (u and at last 2 more), this way u can force 5v5s since they cant match u on the side lane, but i would go for the funny item (deaths dance)
