This is in conflict to Dr Cardwell B Esselstyn's work regarding CVD patients and protecting the endothelial.

That is because they are both promoting low fat. I have read all of them and many more. I go with having them in moderation after considering all the evidence.

Clint Eastwood (93) had a jar full of nuts in his office desk and I thought he ate a lot of nuts to keep himself in a great shape in his 90s. Later I found he ate only a handful of nuts everyday, the rest of the jar were for the squirrels living closeby. Squirrels love nuts. Eastwood's diet primarily consists of fruits, raw vegetables, nuts & seeds and some fishes (no red meat or dairy at all). Most healthy people I know eat some nuts everyday.

It's not confusing. Dr. Esselsytn has read the studies and he says a few nuts are healthy as long as you are not already ill with heart disease. I know his wife eats nuts now, I saw her eating them on her you tube show.

    Dr. Fuhrman,
Out of all of your best selling books which one would be the best for a female in her 50's who is obese.

I understand you are waiting on Dr Fuhrman, but I'd encourage binge-watching his vids . I'm in my 50s and follow a cross between Dr Fuhrmans Nutritarian and Dr Morse's fruit heavy diet and my weight stays same without trying. That has not always been the case. Hormones seem to be under control, too.
