You are ragebaiting using bad faith anecdotes. Everyone knows that in the *majority* of cases men bring home almost all the money and most of the women in their lives didn't have a large role in those men getting to that point. You say "These men aren't chomping at the bit to pull out their checkbook when the relationship doesn't work out." Who would? It's a failed relationship. When is the last time you thought it was a smart idea to continue spending money on something that didn't work? Men who lead with their wallet should be prepared for the entire relationship to be based on transaction instead of genuine interest. It seems you're one of those girls, as you admit word for word "Money before men."
Women who value money more than the relationship itself are the reason prenups are a no-brainer for men.

If he wants her to stay home, she is contributing and he has taken on financial responsibility for, whether the relationship works or not. She's sacrificed what she could have earned for him and if she's had his children, she's sacrificed a lot more. Quite often, women encourage and help men to succeed, financially as well as with words and actions. She isn't financially valueless just because she doesn't do a 9 to 5. Marriage is a contract and it includes financial responsibility. When mackenzie bezos got 38 billion in the divorce settlement, some people said she didn't deserve it. She absolutely did, because she started that business with him and propelled it forward, then sacrificed it to give him children. Why would any man want to see the mother of their children and children struggle financially, just because the relationship didn't work. He still made a commitment to her and has a responsibility to his children. Men claim to want a sahm until they have to foot the bill when the marriage end's. It's usually the man's neglect, cheating and various other bad behaviours that end marriages anyway.

I have no reason to think that anything that you said is more than anecdotal in nature. If the only people you are talking to are the people who were not treated well and of course all of your information is going to say that they were not treated well. If you are going to throw every man on the same cross then you had better have information that gives statistical significance to your claims.

While I agree with you that there is bias involved in her experience, can you promise that you don't go on men's channels and support their unstatistical anecdotes? Women need to hear these messages, especially if they have not been working to raise children during their marriage. She's just trying to help women not be destroyed.

Cautioning people about potential pitfalls in personal relationships is helpful. Demonizing every man does a disservice to anyone who does not merit it. Presenting information out of balance discredits the presenter. I am who I am and say what I say consistently and as much as is humanly possible, without bias.

But what did these women do, *exactly,* to make their husbands the men they are?
You have to include that if you want to make that argument in good faith.
Did they personally raise their kids?
Were they critically involved in their husband's companies?
    Were they investors?
Or, more broadly speaking, did these husbands live off their wives' money during the initial stages of the relationship, and that's what gave them a shot at establishing their business?
Because if none of that is true, the ground is getting pretty thin here.
Just because you didn't work your own day-job doesn't mean you payed a vital contribution to your husband's success.

So, building your home, cooking, cleaning and carrying, giving birth to kids, looking after them and the house means nothing?? If she would count the hours it would surely be more than the husbands. So you suggest both spouses should have a day job so that no one remains at loss when separated?? If so, don’t whine her about the traditional housework and cleaning and looking after children more than you are willing to do cause she also grinds outside the home

@@jiyarahman1698 We agree on that *childcare* should be properly rewarded, but other than that, you're missing the point.
We don't know if these women did any of that, to any degree. Everyone can make a stand and claim they've made their husband into the man he is, but if you do, you need to be able to back that up with examples.
Because we know of just as many stories from women who would just live off their husband's money and would do nothing but go shopping and partying all the time, which we would propably agree isn't contributing anything.
And without giving proper example, we cannot judge what's the case here.

@@jiyarahman1698 Dr Phil says domestic duties plus child rearing is the equivalent of two full time jobs. Also, the research says a man makes more money when his wife takes care of the home and kids. Not that I advocate for that, but it just shows another extra advantage that the man is getting in the mix.

@@BunnyRabit-yo3lx Look, I don't know what these women did or not did. I don't know it because the person posting the video doesn't share it. That's all I'm insisting on.
Because the easiest way to spot a liar is that they will tell you the meaning of an event, but not the facts.
Like, when someone is accused of having cheated, the defense will sometimes be: "But it's been all innocent!" - and then they won't tell you what they did.
We're only getting told the meaning of what these women did: They made their husbands into the men they are and were instrumental in their financial success.
Alright. Could be the case. But we don't know if that is what actually happened here. When it's so obvious to the person making that claim, then it should be easy to point to examples that prove their point. Befor that happened, we only know what they want us to think about these women.

So set up your relationship basically betting that it will end in divorce? This is the attitude and main reason why divorce is such a lucrative business. Prenup is easy, #1 If you cheat you get nothing, #2 If you file for divorce just because you don't want to work on the issues, you get what you came in with, #3 If you have honestly tried to fix things, you get what you came in with and half of what a shared business is worth for 2 years, #4 If there are children involved, joint custody with a half and half time and you can't move out of State just to deny time, no support needed since it is joint custody, #5 If the marriage doesn't last more than 5 years and no children are involved you get what you came in with and half of the profits for 1 year. Instead of rewarding the divorce with the ability to keep taking money you haven't earned indefinitely, you should go into it knowing that your vows should have meant more than a paycheck in the end that you probably planned from the start.

Here's my advice to the whiny men in the comments:
Let your spouse work, stay at home wife/mom= alimony(either rehabilitative/transitional/durational/permanent) depending on the age of the parties, duration of the marriage, income, ability to pay and marital standard of living!
Also stay at home mom/dad= primary custody, congratulations you just became a every other weekend dad with a couple of hours a week of visitation, with just that decision, oh dont forget the child support that comes with that!
Get a cohabitation agreement instead of married if you live in state that does recognize common law marriage.
If you live in a state that doesn't recognize common law marriage then you can cohabitatate without any problems!
Protect your assets/properties/investments, you worked hard for them! ✌️
