- ANOTHER great morning at our local flea market! Some nice video game buys and some other cool stuff too! One table was PACKED with video games, console and accessories so I just bought EVERYTHING!

I sell at flea markets and buy. My favorite "I'll be back, let me look around". We call these Bee Backs... they won't be back.
When I hear a buyer say let me think about, I say... here's my price, you tell me your low ball price then I can usually open dialogue. I sell on Ebay and just to get rid of stuff quickly I sell at the flea market.

You are awesome!!! Not many people will offer to pay more than the seller is asking. God will continue to bless you and your family. Stay humble and keep doing what you do!
The seller will remember you too and maybe hold stuff for you. Give them a business card, write what you collect on them, and have them call you and meet at flea mkt. I scratch your back, you scratch mine. Good business practice. If not make a 1/2 page flyer on colored paper to give them.
It's worth it since you know you're gonna make plenty more from the haul
The most angry I ever got was hearing a You Tube re-seller brag that he negotiated down from $4 to $2 knowing the item was worth $150. His channel is gone now.
I just started reselling from watching you and a few other pickers so I kinda know what to look for. Found a brand new Tumi travel luggage bag at goodwill for $20 a couple days ago. Sold Comp for the exact same one on eBay $499.99. I was so excited. 😃

Cut the squash in half, put it face down on a plate and microwave probably 5-10 min until soft. Put a little butter and a sprinkle of brown sugar. Bet you like it.
I prefer to roast my squash but this I’ll try!! Sounds yum!
Use your oven, don't microwave your squash..
I use a little toaster oven and get the same effect, just cut the acorn squash smaller.

I actually went to the same market yesterday and got a great deal on a Wii and a cool vintage helicopter toy from this same couple. They only gave me the deal because I paid them what I did in this video.

Acorn squash is awesome! Cut in half remove seeds and then put butter and brown sugar in them and bake in oven till soft! Soooooooooo good!

That camera toward the end of the video (Pentax K1000) is one that is generally used in colleges to teach students. I used one at college and they are still ones to pick up. Generally very sturdy and reliable. Check out the listings😀 Also, the straps on cameras, especially unique ones can sell well.
The squash surprisingly tastes great!!! I had never had either one until I met my husband.

When I was doing the flea market thing a few years ago I used to love when people would just be willing to let go of the table full of miscellaneous controllers/chords/systems like that. I remember getting a few PSP's in carrying cases that had games inside as well as stacks upon stacks of ps2 controllers I traded into my local gamestore, with the trade credit being triple what I paid for the items themselves. If you wanted to turn that pile of randomness into a good game or two to resell, you could do the same with a local gamestore.

When the guy said “I’ve been watching you”, it reminded me of an old David Letterman monologue joke. He said a guy came up to him on the street and said “I watch you every night”. Dave replied “Oh, you like the show?” And the guy says “You have a show?”
Oh, by the way, the BEST way to cook that Acorn squash is cut in half, scoop out the seeds, stuff the cavity with butter and brown sugar, (my mom made it this way), bake for about an hour at 350. So good, because all that buttery goodness soaks into the squash.

I love acorn squash. Split it down the middle, remove any seeds and stuff. Sprinkle a little brown sugar and cinnamon over the top (or you can make it more savory instead of sweet) a little butter and bake it. Hope you enjoyed it. Looks like you got a great haul!

I don't think I have seen these kind of Flea Markets? What are these flea markets called? Our flea markets are indoor and we can't negotiate because the items are at a set price.

16:18, I used to sell vintage camera and Pentax K1000, that is at least $200 camera if it works and most cases, it works. It is really easy to check the functionality of the camera since everything is mechanical, youtube search it. Even if camera body is broken you could sell the lens itself, it should sell for at least $100 (clean lens, not the mold/oil lens). By the way, you cold sell broken Pentax K1000 for at least $50

Are you doing all your own listing and shipping? I know I’m leaving money on the table by not posting $15 items but I have no idea how people find the time to post 20 or 30 items everyday and then ship out that many. If I can make $30 on it, I pass it up. I spend most of my time sourcing though.
Hayley does most of the listings and we both do the shipping.
I wish I had a flea market near me the prices seem so good on the vintage stuff. The picture that guy got for $4 was very pretty and I just want to snatch up all the pottery planters. That was a Pentax k1000 camera I wouldn’t pay $20 but I have one and love it.

Sheeesh the shoes were on really good prices my favorite places to go to is flea market or definitely garage sales or yard sales and yeah maybe thriting sometimes but it can get expensive 😅🤷♂️

An old school picker who's primary job is to flip at the flea are great sources of fantastic scores. Integrity when doing business with said old school picker is a bonus for sure. Happy hunting everyone.

Said, “I’ll think about it” at a yard sale because I really did want to think about it. Got a message within the hour saying, “If you just come get it, you can have it for $x!” Sometimes thinking about it works in your favor 😊
People need to buy what they know and know what they buy. I wouldn't buy shoes, golf clubs or video games because I don't know those things. I would buy bicycle parts, Hot Wheels, tools and musical instruments because I know those. I watched a video where this guy bought a bunch of open Hot Wheels and they were not desirable but he was describing them and even said "now I'm an expert in Hot Wheels". I've collected Hot Wheels for 30 years and am not an expert but I do know what is valuable... same with instruments.
Careful cleaning those hats. That foam falls apart real easy. I wouldn’t even get that part wet, just clean the brim and outside.

We have a great charity shop in my town for Cancer Research which is an ‘outlet’ shop for a rich area and all clothing is £1 I visit most days and joke with staff that I have a £10 ‘exit fee’ I had some Armani jeans in my last haul

I have about 500 new old dead stock of 80’s-90’s NASCAR racer, and neon Winston Cup Series hats haha. All pristine with tags, other than the white ones. Got them at a yard sale at about .75¢ a piece. They move slow, but almost always over $20 each.
I freaking LOVE acorn squash. Brown sugar, butter, pecans. YUM Stab it with a paring knife and put it in the microwave for 9 minutes. Take out, cool, cut in half and scoop out the seeds. Easy to cook. If your low carb, use sugar free pancake syrup and butter.

First flee market i went to in a long time back in PA. I found this both selling old comics and they had a stack of spiderman [unopen] with 3 about in each, and I got them for like 5 for 1 dollar or 25 cents a piece. Something like that. I found that some were worth money, but i kept them for me since I'm a collector of anything spiderman XD
