I really like the S.I.M.O.N. idea and it acting like the blind star trooper's eyes! Did you have it worked out if S.I.M.O.N. would have a personality similar to other systems like Jarvis or Cortana?
Thanks for the comment. I envisioned S.I.M.O.N. like a floating droid in Star War. The story was intended to be illustrated in a comic book. I planned all the action to SIMON's POV with video scan line effects. I think of presenting my undeveloped idea outlines in Trashcan comics with the text and spot illustrations.
