I've filled up 6 journals this year but in total i am on my 8th journal!
Daily journaling really helped me get back into it after I left my journal
at a friends house who won't give it back.😔
(And it was my most cringiest journal ever! And I know she read it, who wouldn't?)
I wrote in 5 journals this year, all in different sizes. It's so nice to fill them up! I'm on my 16th right now and I get so excited to decorate the pages. Super therapeutic. I also make these lyric spreads every 20 pages and sticker collage every 50.
Hi Carrie! I’m 15 years old, and in total, I have nine journals. This year, I finished two and am currently on another one. My favorite journal is the one I’m using because the pages are not too big, and they are thick! It’s from Hallmark. Thanks for uploading this video, Carrie! I love watching these!

Pretty solid review of three unique journals. I don’t think you ever said which was your favorite of the three, if there is one. Also, I too find it weird when I come across journals that have the words “note” or “notebook” or “journal” on the cover. That’s why I usually steer clear of those journals.
As for me, I’ve written in 10 journals this year (and similar to you, it wasn’t 10 full journals). I write more than one page for the most part, and the journals varied in sizes, which is why I’ve gotten through as many as I did. Also, with the exception of one, they were all from brands that I know and trust.

This year I have also filled up 3 journals! (they were pretty thin tho😅). I did not daily journal but I still managed to write about the major events that happened and I'm very proud of me for that:)

Hi Carrie, I just wanted to tell you that you can cover your journals in parchment paper to make a cover. Thats what I did for my white one so it doesn't get stained or the pages don't get dirty. It's very sad when something you worked hard on starts getting a little dingy. So , make a parchment cover so you can Preserve them.

I'm only on my fifth journal and I've found it difficult lately to daily journal. I have no idea why it's been so hard, maybe a bunch of reasons, maybe none at all, but I'm trying to see the bright side of it in the way that I can start daily journaling right on 1/1/2024. Like, it's perfect, right? Well, that's what I tell myself to not make myself sad.

I filled out 11 journals. And to be honest my favorite journal was from pen and gear. The paper was surprisingly compatible with my fountain pen. I do hope to slow down on my finishing of journals next year though because it was a lot of pressure I put on myself to finish a journal. The problem is I have 100 unused journals and that makes me want to write another one and another one, but I would like next year to just enjoy my journal and not worry about the next one. So we will see.

I am currently in my 19th journal. I love the practice and this year I had amazing journals in terms of paper and quality. 🖋️📔 I always get motivated by your videos.
I use a fountain pen so paper quality is very important for me. My advice is after picking out a few possible next journals, you swatch on the last page some of your most used pens and markers and decide based on that. I wish you an even better journaling year in 2024 🎉❤

if you really want journals that don't bleed, you should look at heavier gsm journals like archer and olive - they tend to be more expensive but if you use a lot of markers they could be worth it
I have a journal that has 320 pages, a pen holder, ribbon bookmark and a large pocket in the back. I got it from Amazon. Its soft cover, but I love the amount of pages it has! Happy New Year and Happy Writing Carrie!! 💜📖🖊

I used 5 journals this year! One had been started last year and went to February 6, and one I just started December 17-- my 61st journal! I averaged about 2 pages per day even though I don't write daily because there were a couple big events (I got engaged! my best friend's wedding!) and a bunch of visits to/from family and I wrote a lot about those things.

I absolutely love your videos Carrie! I am currently on my 6th journal and I’m almost done with it! I also have almost 30 blank journals in my collection (which is a lot, haha) and I cannot wait to write in all of them. And even though I really love all of my journals and collecting more of them, having a lot of blank journals for me makes me feel kind of anxious because I feel like I have to finish all of them really fast. Wow that's a lot of journals
I’m on my 18th journal right now and I’ve written daily (except for a couple of days) since August 2020, that’s 3 years and 4 months now, crazy!! I’ve completed almost 4 journals in 2023 but I started one of them in Oct. 2022 and my last one isn’t done yet so the math is adding up I think.
I used to fill up journals within a month or two or so but recently I’ve had bigger journals or ones with more pages and it’s taken me longer to fill them up. I kinda like that better though because, as you said, they’re definitely adding up and I don’t have endless amounts of space haha. I’m excited to see where my journey goes :))
I worked in 12 journals this year! A few of them didn’t get filled all the way, but for me that’s okay bc I’ll go back to those journals in the future and finish them! My are more artsy, but they do have a fair amount of writing too! I have a video showing them on my channel! Happy holidays Carrie!!

But I’m trying to stay positive because it was a hard year so why should i beat myself up? I’m definitely going to give daily journaling another go next year :)
Viewing your videos is such a pleasure, Carrie. I am currently writing ✍ in my 64th Journal. It is my 11th Journal of the year 2023. I had been aiming for completing 12 Journals for the year; however, from July through August, I experienced a combination of writers burnout and being overtaken by a fervor for focusing exclusively on my Home's Decor. I recently bought a glorious 1945 Colonial Revival House- truly, a dream realized. As you might imagine, I have been Journaling quite a lot about my Home, cultivating it in precise accordance with my tastes so that it can be both PEACEFUL and an aesthetic representation of my Soul. For the coming year, I am hopeful to complete my 12 Journals in 12 months goal. I am not too hard on myself; however, I am a prolific writer of Journals. I finished a journal close to the beginning of the year, and didn't even finish the next one yet lol.
I started journaling in mid-November last year, so I guess I filled up four and 1/2 journals.
I'm 14 , This is my first year journalling whole year and I have filled up 5 A5 journals . My fav brand is MatriKvs Archive . They are so pretty..
I would recommend the brand peter pauper press if you want a nice thick page, i'm pretty sure i experienced virtually no bleedthrough with that one, except for when I layered black sharpie but that was my mistake 😅 my only problem with that i filled it up really quick since the spacing between the lines is a bit larger than usual. These journals have absolutely beautiful covers though, they're so detailed and i'd totally recommend them. I think i'm gonna buy some more for myself in 2024 :)

I didn't fill up my journal this year. But I always start a new one every year. This year was tough IRL and I didn't want to journal nor did I have the mental capacity to do so with everything that was going on.

hi! i was wondering if anybody had suggestions on how to stay consistent with journaling (i want to start daily journaling in 2024), also i am unsure what to write about. is it just like what happens in my day? i feel like that could get boring. any tips?
