Guillaume Brisbois has been a loyal soldier for this franchise. It's very rare for a team to hold on to a player for seven years without him ever really making the team. With that said, at this point if he's never going to get a legitimate chance in Vancouver, I hope he gets one with somebody. Hopefully he can fully recover from the concussion first.

Good for the Canucks to give them a choice to move on

Much as I hate your inconsistency (bipolar support) at times as a Canucks fan and the fact that you make many of your analyses second-hand (after a floor hockey game), I have to admit your content shows considerable hockey insight and very thought-provoking subject material.
While, at times, you seemed like an opportunistic flake as far as actual experiential hockey insight and knowledge, I have to regretfully admit I am drawn to your content and insights on various hockey prospects- particularly within the Canucks hockey prospects pipeline.
I asked myself why I am consistently drawn to your content and while I have actual hockey experience, I have to admit I am captivated by the hockey insight nerdiness of the game that I lack and you seem very knowledgeable in that area.
My hat is off to you as an open hockey critic of yours since beginning to follow your channel!

    What even are waivers?

It's a system that helps create parity. Although some young prospects are initially exempt from waivers, the rest of your players have to be exposed to the rest of the league before they are sent down to the minors. The lowest ranked team last season gets to have first claim, and so forth up the standings. It also prevents players from consistantly being buried in the minors. There is a small fee for claiming a player, and of course teams are only allowed to have 50 players under contract in their franchise, so you have to juggle that as well.
