You might want to do some research on that. Water in the pan is not the issue. All ac units have water in the pan. It is the collection of microbes that form on the coil based on the conditions and off gassing of things in the home at specific temps and humidity. Carrier was sued over it in the early 2000's and won the case with scientist that proved this very point.
6’-10” is my guess. The wet sock thing seems like a design issue. I’ve never had this happen with other brands when I have the unit perfectly level the coil drain pan has its own pitch to it. Mitsubishi for the loss.
New equipment has too many angry pixie boards anymore. Any one of those boards leaks out the electrons and your system is toast. That is why you need to keep these things level,
