Don’t forget their inner wear! Is great for daily activities, sports and even your monthly’s. I even bought their sleep wear, so comfy, lasting, cute and coordinated. As for sport wear, their bike shorts is so versatile!

Uniqlo's free alterations for pants has been amazing, I'm very short and while its annoying to have to get around 10+ cm cut off, the service has been helpful

I love their Airism camisoles! Perfect for winter as an extra layer, but also breathable enough for the rest of the year! I have also just bought the Ines De Frassange velvet skirt, such a simple but elegant design and beautiful quality ❤

I love your UNIQLO roundups--the Extra Fine Merino Sweaters are absolute staples for both my husband and I. I have one of their nylon sling bags that's my daily driver over my luxury bags--it fits so much! I ordered the double-breasted wool coat from the Jil Sander collab a few seasons ago and its weight was nice and the wool was nice, but the "lining" was *so* disappointingly cheap. I do think their basics in natural fibers are the way to go but I'm glad I watched this before buying some of their lambswool, I hate pilling on sweaters.

I love their t-shirt. The quality is so much better (the thickness, never lose their original shape, no creases) perfect for work. I also love their Crescent half-moon they’re selling now in a bigger size (the fake leather black one). I am using it everyday. Thanks for the info on the drawstring bag. It just came out in France. And here Uniqlo tends to size bigger so I always try my normal size and a lower one.

My personal favorite will definitely be their Tank Top with bra inside! It's super comfy and practical to wear alone or as a underlayer since you don't have to be bothered with the a normal bra. And it could be washed in the wash machine as well. Please try this one if you have not yet! :)

I love a lot of items at Uniqlo, but agree with your comment on Uniqlo's colour selection. The non-neutral colours they choose for clothing items often feel dated to me - they'll have something a bright red and cornflower blue, and that's it, which aren't really what people are gravitating towards and aren't very versatile.

Hi Helen, Wanted to stop by after receiving my first Uniqlo order and it was inspired by this video. Everything is beautiful and high quality. I have always struggled with combining dressy and casual items to create the days look but you also just had a video out on that topic as well and it is all starting to come together in my mind on how to use my new pieces with my older pieces. My wardrobe feels so updated and beautiful and I can not thank you enough! 🥹💛

Great Vlog, ive made notes so I dont forget your recommendations 😂 Im a big fan of the Easy smart trousers. Here in the Uk they are released at the end of September. I have them in both in Beige and Black. They wear well, dont crease and i wash them on 30 cycle. They are synthetic mix. ( already had them 5 years)I intend having them for many years so I give myself a break on the composition. Its not ideal but they are such a good price point. My other fave are the layering quilted jackets. I have two one short and one long. Again these are purchases from a few years back and they will last me for many years to come. Great for travel. They look exactly the same as the day i bought them. I do not wash them I refresh by hanging outside in the fresh air. Would recommend the light brown/taupe colour, timeless colours are best for something that i want to keep for at least 10 years. Thanks Helen you help me a lot 😘😘

I’m always excited for their collaborations, although I’m trying to be more mindful of their fiber composition. The recent Clare collab featured a trench coat that has pretty lining. Only issue is lately a lot of their clothes runs big. I’m forced to shop online for xxs tops/outerwear.

    • @FedhzAquino
      @FedhzAquino 11 месяцев назад +1

I got the small size but it's too big for me. It's funny we don't have the XXS or XS size options in our country (where people are known to be shorter or smaller) both in store and online. Shame I really love it (particularly because of the lining), but I will have to exchange it. I will try the single breasted coat next.

My favorite piece for the colder months at Uniqlo are the heattech fleece crew neck long sleeve tshirts! They’re soft, keeps me warm and great for layering~ My tried and true is my long seamless down coat ☺️ Mine is very old and it’s still in great condition. I’m thinking of getting a new one for this winter or getting the short version, but we shall see 😆 Thank you for your recommendations! ❤️

I could't agree more about the tailored trousers. I firstly got the grey ones and now I have all 5 colours. And that was the best decision (although the synthetic material is not my favourite either), same with their tailored smart shorts as I come from a warmer country.

  • @katherineandini5962

Not me writing this comment in head-to-toe uniqlo 🤣
I have the exact opposite experience with the lambswool - that’s my favourite knitwear line from Uniqlo 😁 I have 2 sizes (1 sized up because I want it to be a bit slouchy). I wash them with Woolite on 20 degrees & then dry them out flat on a drying rack. They’re still going strong after 3yrs - I did see some pilling earlier this year but it didn’t look “thinned out” after I remove them 🤨 My other favourite items from Uniqlo are the EZY ankle trousers (esp those I bought in Asia because they fit me off the rack), Heattech & Airism underwear, linen collection for the summer & the hybrid down coat (the non-puffy one). From menswear I’ve been enjoying the merino polo shirts at the moment!

I have the exact same bag (the last one), it's amazing, looks more green than gray to my eyes but it's listed as gray on the product tag. The only downside is that it's so roomy and dark inside that sometimes it can be difficult to find your stuff unless I run my hands inside for 10-20 seconds to find what i need😂

First of all, absolutely love your content, especially since we are the same height and almost everything in shops and advertising is geared towards taller people. And also I love that we have similar values in buying clothes. Staying away as much as possible from fast fashion, buying good quality clothing that looks good and lasts.
One question: I am sorry if you mentioned it and I missed it, but the checked coat that you were wearing in either black, blue, or grey, where is that from?

Love love love ur content. So informative 🎉 one question is that when u tell Uniqlo employees to shorten the pants or jeans, how short do u go? Like do u shorten ur pants upto a point where they reach ur ankle or little over the ankle or little under it? Sometimes, as a petite, I kind of struggle with this. I saw another video about the most recent Uniqlo collab, and I was so excited to try multiple things. I am living in Japan now, so Uniqlo stores are not hard to find--however what they had stocked in the store I visited was...not enough! I was excited to try on the corduroy suit, but I'd need a men's size. They didn't have it. Also the ladies' clothing is much more expensive than the men's, so if I buy a sweater later, I'll prob choose one from the men's dept. I am quite tall and like an oversized fit, so most of the ladies clothing doesn't fit me.

Going for 100% cotton, wool cashmere is fine but they are harder to look after and sometimes having a little bit of a mix helps the colour last longer helps the item keep its shape better makes cleaning it easier if you have a cashmere blend you can usually put it in the washing machine and save yourself some pennies in dry cleaning it's not always a bad thing it's the 100% polyester fabric all the plastic fabrics that are bad for the environment and are not breathable for you too plastic fibre from your clothes getting washed in machine all those plastic fibres end up in the ocean it's not cool ❤

Hi Helen, would the drawstring bag fit a 13" macbook?

It will fit but I don't recommend it as the bag is very soft. So the shape would then be rectangular. Also the nylon is quite soft so not sure it will hold anything too too heavy :) Hope that helps x

It's a t-shirt you can get at any five and dime store. The jacket you are wearing is very cute. There is just nothing exceptional about them.

$5 t-Shirts usually aren’t 100% cotton, or even cotton at all. It’s (U style) one of the cheaper 100% cotton t-shirts I’ve seen. The next closest is Hanes at ~$10 as well.
Uniqlo usually has more basic clothing but its selling point is the good quality at cheaper prices than other stores that have good quality.

I find the tees simple and nothing too special to look at but softer and longer lasting than others I've tried. Nothing exceptional but just simple basics that wear well :)

Their t shirts used to be 100 cotton. Not anymore. Don't buy

I hate their lambs wool sweaters, the arms and shoulders are made for bodybuilders. So baggy. 👎
