I really appreciate that you discuss the material composition of the pieces. Saves me from wasting time as trying to avoid polyester as much as possible
Me too! A lot of fashion bloggers never even mention it. Drives me nuts! It’s always the first thing I look at. If I like the look of something what good is it if the fabric isn’t right?
What I really like about you, Emma, is that you give honest opinions. Not like some influencers, who love absolutely everything, even when you look at it and think that doesn't suit you, and can't see you wearing it. I've taken advice from your videos and made purchases and never been disappointed with those purchases. I feel like your my personal fashion advisor❤ i never would of thought to buy the Veja trainers you showed last week. After your review, I brought a pair and just love them. I did say thank you Emna, as I was admiring them in the mirror. Another great video ❤x
There is this tweet where it says “Uniqlo is amazing if you like having something so close to exactly what you want” and that’s how I feel about all the polyester and acrylic pieces

Love these! I'm in Japan (new to Japan from the Caribbean), so i find these videos super helpful to narrow stuff down because i have never had to buy autumn/winter clothes before, and UNIQLO is my style
Thank you for watching and so glad you found it useful. I can imagine the change in climate must have been a shock but Japan is a beautiful country. Hope you are enjoying it ❤️
The leggings you showed used to call Jeggings. I owned many pairs in the past few years. They are so comfortable and most importantly they do have shorter version for short people like me 😊. They are my absolutely favourite all time.
I am a massive fan of Uniqlo so this video is super useful as I had my eyes on few bits from your try on. I also like their 100% lambswool knitwear however unfortunately the material is pilling so much and very quickly. I need to keep de-bobbling often. This happens year after year with their lambswool knitwear. Although all wool jumpers get bobbly eventually, Uniqlo ones just seem to start getting bobbly very quickly 😢
I’m a large belly sufferer and actually really like the merino wool skirt. I sit for most 🌉 f my working day and elastic waistband and tummy freedom is much appreciated. Admittedly I would only ever wear it with an oversized jumper/ knitted vest or gillet that covers tummy area and I’m shorter than you so I really like the fit& length, it flows beautifully .
Hi Emma would love you to do a secondhand but grand video of things you have purchased as I feel this would be really interesting. Many thanks ❤ hints and tips as always. I know you have done this before but I am sure you will have bought more recently.
Great video, one of my fave brands particularly at this time of year. No you’re not too early with the fleece lined joggers or heattech socks, I’ve already stocked up 😂 So glad you reviewed the boots, they’ve been sold out for ages but thought they’d be a great weekend walking boot. Thanks for the thorough try on 💕

Great work Emma, love your videos and everything looks marvellous on you! Where I live here in Canada, the majority of items shown are unavailable and when they are, they sell out at lightening speed. If you see something you like, you need to get it right away!
Thanks for sharing, hope they still have the cropped puffs in stock. I got a pair of the heat tech joggers last winter and literally never took them off! They are so cosy 😄
Love the boots! (edit: both things I want- boots, cotton parka- are sold out on US site) Emma I always think of you with Uniqlo cashmere especially men's sweaters💙
Hi Emma. I do like mixing more masculine styles with feminine ones- I like the look. We don’t have Uniqlo here in Greece which is a shame as I quite like some of their pieces. It’s a pity that some of the materials are synthetic but that is reflected in their prices .Thanks Emma for giving us viewers honest, sincere opinions about the quality, fabric and style of the pieces you show us- I really appreciate that which is why I have been a long time subscriber.🧡🍁🍂🎃

Love your reviews! I would be so grateful if you would consider doing one on puffer jackets… I’m in the market for a nice warm one for british winter that’s not too chunky but still stylish.
I doubt I will be able to fit one in this year I'm afraid as the schedule is now full until 2025 🎉 but I do feature a few in my What I Wore style videos which may be useful - I have done a couple already and have another scheduled for more winter outfits coming soon ❤️
So great!! I was looking at their website last night and your video popped up at the perfect time 😎 I am investing in their heat tech range on the basis of this video! Thank you 🤩
thank you for the video! very informative. will check couple of the items from the video. i'm a fan of uniqlo for many, many years, however in past 2-3 years it feels like the quality of the wool went down. all my repeated merino wool sweaters, turtle necks as well as lambswool jumpers will get holes at the elbows like in 1-3 seasons :( maybe it is only my problem, but my husband has the same problem with the all wool items.
That’s such a shame to hear. I haven’t had that issue but as I have more clothes than average mine don’t get as much wear as what yours might because I have more things on rotation.
With Xmas party season coming up please do a video for ideas how to go from day to evening, office to night out, without a complete change of outfit. Thanks. X
Last year I purchased the fleece lined trousers in all colours and they got me through winter. They’re lovely but I am 5ft4 and the length is just there. Also last year I bought the soufflé roll neck which I love in blue. It had little splits on both sides of the hem. This year they took the splits away so returned . All those jumpers without the splits have gone back as they make me look like a pudding. Please bring back the splits
Hello Emma it's truly the better uniqlo review I've ever seen 👍 A lot of very interesting pieces I love the tech darm legging ans the jackets 😏😉👍 Have a nice sunday bises 😉😘
Hi Emma, great video as always. I don’t know if it’s a county related issue, but the links are not working. I am in Italy, for reference. Have a great season with S and the Bs 🐕 😊.
I realy appreciate your try-on videos, especially since I don't have many of the brands you try anywhere near me and am often forced to shop online. This is really helpful. Thank you!
I’m so glad because that’s exactly the reason I make them. I try on and give my opinions in the hope that it’s useful for you guys and prevents you from ordering items which wouldn’t be suitable ❤️
The waterproof thing is true of all water repellent finishes btw (waxed cotton is a bit different) it wears off over time but it’s reinvigorated when you wash them, up to about 3-5 times then you need to wash with a water repellent treatment, a spray won’t do it.
Hi Emma, love to hear some honest opinions! Even though you don't mention coats on here, i was thinking it would be so much interesting to hear how tou take care of coats (I'm a fan of your video on how you take care of yous shoes and knits). Just a suggestion😊 take care
Dear Emma, I have been watching your videos for more than 4 years. I really enjoy your renovation videos. You've done a great job!!!👏 Regarding your fashion videos, every time I have the feeling that you new clothes is just the same as you already have: the same shape, the same colour…and more often I 've just skip them. I wish a more varied content. Just wanted to share my thoughts. Wishing you all the best ❤
Thank you for sharing. The purpose of these videos is to give my opinion and feedback about new in items for different brands in order to help people make informed decisions on pieces that they may want to add to their wardrobe for a certain season (either because they don't have those items in their wardrobe already or they may be looking to upgrade an older piece). As this is my style, I rarely stray too far from items that fit into this style as I want to be as genuine as possible. I could add lots of items with florals for example but I wouldn't wear them and it wouldn't fit my style, so wouldn't really benefit the audience or be genuine to me ❤️ We do have a few more renovations planned (although probably not until next year) so if you aren't necessarily looking to upgrade any items in your wardrobe it may be worthwhile giving this type of video a skip and just look out for the Reno vids hopefully coming up early in the new year ❤️
Those boots are gorgeous but I’m not sure how long they’d last for. Thank you for another great try-on video. I’m with you on their jeans. I once tried to get a pair on and they didn’t go past my bum (I’m a petite size 8 so I don’t know why - maybe I’m not straight up and down enough). Heattech tho - now you’re talking… I’ve had one of their gilets for eight happy years x
I absolutely love Uniqlo, I will say though if you foot is even slightly broad the shoes are a nightmare unfortunately 😭 but every thing else is gold!🌟 Emma would you ever consider doing a reformation try on?
I have had a few of their pieces before but probably wouldn't do a full try on for it, although I never say never and do often check them out for new in pieces so if they ever have enough items I am interested in I will give it a go 👍.
@@EmmaHill IMHO, Reformation doesn't seem to suit your style, although I'm sure you could find a few more timeless pieces, like with most brands. I love the girly, printed summer dresses, but I feel like I'm too mature for them at (young) age 46 😂 So pretty to look at, but the type of thing that you grow tired of quickly. From my experience, I believe that one needs to have a very narrow upper body/torso for many of the styles to work (which Emma is blessed with not as many others).
I’m currently home in Toronto and visited a Uniqlo store on Friday. I found some really good pieces in merino wool and cashmere for reasonable prices. I do agree that checking fabric composition is important both in terms of skin tolerance, ease of washing and price. I found a nice shacket in navy but once I checked the price versus fabric composition, I found it expensive in comparison to my merino wool items.
I enjoyed this try-on. That cream water resistant jacket is my favourite. With lambswool jumpers, I try to pick v-necks or round necks as my neck is quite sensitive. I’m OK with the rest of my body, it is just my neck that can get itchy.
Thanks for this try-on and your honest opinion. Overall I wasn’t wowed by the Uniqlo Autumn collection. Felt the Summer collection had more interesting and wearable pieces for me at least.
To a degree I’d agree. I was t wowed by some of the Uniqlo: C collection, the skirts are a hard ‘no’ from me but I’m sure some people will be able to pull them off. However I think for their classic and timeless items they have year after year like the cashmere jumpers, merino wool basics and all the heattech stuff they’re still on top 🙌🏼
Hi Emma, I see a lot of items are suited for winter. How about Autumn? I come from a non four season country so what’s your recommendation for Uniqlo items for autumn? I’m going to Japan for the whole Nov.
These were all Autumn items. I live in a 4 season country and these are all items that can be worn in Autumn, only some could possibly carry through to Winter but would require extra layers x
Lately, I haven't been liking the touchfeel of many Uniqlo pieces. Unfortunately the C and other collab pieces are rarely available in store and I dislike returning online orders.
That’s such a shame that your local store doesn’t have a good range. At Bluewater they have pretty much everything. The only thing I have to buy online is the long leg length trousers because they’re an online exclusive.
Try the pleated skirt with a cami or skinny tank and strapy sandals- it can be a sexy slinky piece if you style it differently. And I SO get the catholic school thing- I went thru 12th grade in the US!
I really enjoyed this video Emma. I have the fleecy sweatshirt and joggers in the cream colour. They're wonderfully toastie! My daughter was staying with me over the weekend and watched your vlog with me. She is your height and build and immediately ordered the oversized cashmere sweater as she said the clog gave her a verybgood idea of how it would look on her. I think she'll be watching more of your vlogs in future. Happy Belated Sunday and love to you, Simon and the Bs. Xxx
Sorry about that. It does depend on what region you are in, if the product is available (called the same/on the same landing page etc) and if the links convert correctly (if you aren't in the UK) 👍
If you check out the Autumn Home Refesh video from last week everything on the shelves is listed there 😘 ruclips.net/video/_oEntEc33RU/видео.htmlsi=mGiFoDPi5rc5kc6E
The brown pleated denim is not part of the Uniqlo standard collection. It is part of the most famous Uniqlo collaboration (the Uniqlo U collection with Lemaire)
Unfortunately as I’m in the UK I can only generate UK links. In some cases links can automatically re-direct to the same item but on another countries website but this doesn’t work for every retailer due to differences in stock and product names x
I know it’s a matter of preference but we are the same height and I think those trouser inseams that hit just above your shoes are a little awkward - sort of not quite cropped but not quite the right length. I also think those tapered leg styles would look wildly unflattering on me (and honestly most people).
Uniqlo definitely has a certain style to it but in my opinion it’s just not trend orientated, they just make good wardrobe staples. Fair enough the skirts aren’t my thing but their tailored trousers, knitwear and practical outerwear is always good…and classic. I personally don’t look to buy trends, they don’t last so I really appreciate Uniqlo’s timeless staple pieces x
I always loved watching your UNIQLO reviews, they are my fav! You inspired me to upload my own Uniqlo video on my channel🥹 honestly I had so much fun creating it! I always loved your clothing reviews, you are just so honest!

I think she'll be watching more of your vlogs in future. Happy Belated Sunday and love to you, Simon and the Bs. Xxx
I’m so glad she also found the video useful ❤️❤️❤️
Which size did you take in the merino blend jumper and dress? The size is missing in the info box.. Thanks ❤
I didn't try on any dresses in this video but the merino skirt was a M and the matching jumper was a S x
Sorry, I meant skirt. Thanks for the info ☺️
Love this! Are you able to share the link for the spray you use to keep things water repellent?! Xx
Just adding it to the description box now 👍
Thanks lovely! ❤
I tried several of your links in the description box and each one said page not found.
Sorry about that. It does depend on what region you are in, if the product is available (called the same/on the same landing page etc) and if the links convert correctly (if you aren't in the UK) 👍
How tall are you Emma? I’ve never tried Uniqlo trousers and feel like I may be on the cusp of “tall” for this store, great vid!
All my size details can be found in the description box for reference ❤️
Hi Emma I'm ordering the cream parka I'm a size 12 would medium suit are they oversized
Im a size 10 and have the medium (for reference) but I would always say check the sizing chart online just to be safe 👍
Whats the plant behind i love it
If you check out the Autumn Home Refesh video from last week everything on the shelves is listed there 😘 ruclips.net/video/_oEntEc33RU/видео.htmlsi=mGiFoDPi5rc5kc6E
Relaxed v-neck's link is not working for me. Could you provide? I love this, and can't seem to find for US
Unfortunately that may mean it is not available in your region, either that or the item may be sold out 😢
The brown pleated denim is not part of the Uniqlo standard collection. It is part of the most famous Uniqlo collaboration (the Uniqlo U collection with Lemaire)
There was no tag to signify that which is why it just went into the normal category but thank you for letting me know x
@@EmmaHill The rectangular paper tag attached to the pants has ‘uniqlo u’ printed on it. The label inside the pants is ‘Uniqlo U’ instead of Uniqlo
Helloooooooo 😊😊😊
Hi Emma, maybe it is because I am in the US, but none of the links work. Thanks for the video
Heattech rules.
🙌🙌🙌
What a lovely space for filming a video! Of course, ANY place in your beautiful home would be great!
Thank you 😘
❤
sorry - what’s exciting about the blazers?🤪🙃 and the cropped puffer vest was out last year.
Used to love Uniqlo but now their style looks so outdated .In this particular style I would look 10 years older.
👍
Love the cashmere jumper, but the blazer is hideous - absolutely hideous
I have been waiting for your opinions🥹gonna get myself some Uniqlo socks now
No one beats them for socks 🙌🏼
FYI - you have the wrong hyperlink for the fleece leggings. It goes to the fleece joggers.
Thank you, I'll adjust it now 🤦♀️
How tall are you? You dont look tall at all
All my sizing is in the description box 👍
I always loved watching your UNIQLO reviews, they are my fav! You inspired me to upload my own Uniqlo video on my channel🥹 honestly I had so much fun creating it! I always loved your clothing reviews, you are just so honest!
Thank you for watching ❤️ I always enjoy filming this style of video, its great to try the new pieces, so glad you enjoyed it too ❤️
@@EmmaHill Oh thank you for taking your time to respond to your comments 🥰❤️ can not wait for your Uniqlo winter video!
Brown jeans are from Unique U collaboration line, not the Unique regular line.
