It is very refreshing to see people speak of Amanda in a light that showcases her in a way that speaks to her vulnerability and her passion to deliver meaningful conversations to the masses, while supporting the importance of Black People in this world.
II bought tickets to see her Toronto show this year we can’t wait, we love her. She is extremely underrated and not appreciated for the work, integrity and insight she brings to our community.

Exactly!!! Why is there no room for bad days? No grace for the minimum offense but infinite forgiveness given for unadulterated abuse. It doesn’t make sense.
Goes to show how damaged folks are my friend. We need healing ❤️🩹 for real. Amanda is a confident, grounded woman, advocating for not only her community nut others as well. It’s so heartbreaking 💔 that her own people don’t see it.
I love Amanda, and the work shes doing aint easy and shes actual doing the damn work.

Amanda is just not for everybody and I think that's something she needs to accept. If you're going to stand on your thoughts and opinions their will always be people who dislike you. Amanda is very vocal in what she believes and she doesn't waiver. Some people just don't care for her approach which is something she can't change.
Amanda Seales is for the black community. Many are called activists and enjoy the title and accolades but Amanda is actually an activists. She does things we don't see or know about. She does things in the "dark" and God rewards her in the light. She hosted the BET Awards in the midst of a pandemic. No other award show knew what to do and BET became the blueprint. She knew if it didn't work she would be blamed and hosted the show anyway. TS, please tell Amanda she is loved and appreciated. If God be before us who can be against us. Keep being blessed Amanda. That's the best way to shut people up.
I remember I was talking to her in the DM about some situations relating to politics before the show insecure she got real cocky and said it was a privilege to even be talking to her?!? Simply because I didn't agree with her on a subject and then she blocked me. Roast her!

This was a beautiful conversation. I love Amanda. Black ppl collectively canst process free thinkers. We expect perfect behavior from blacks or we will tear other blacks down and we extend kindness and grace to other races.
I don’t remember half the ppl I’ve met & I’m not a celebrity. Be so got real… Amanda has been in the industry 2 decades… folks hate REAL ppl who don’t put on an act 24/7. Everything Amanda said is right

I read the piece by Thejournalista, and she had a point. Amanda is amazing and does the work, however, she can also be critiqued for bad behavior and bad takes. It was three pieces by TheGrio, Essence, and TheJournalista.

I loved the Small Doses interview yall had. Amanda has a place and doesn't deserve all this pointed press she's getting. I respect her hustle and what shes made for herself. The Cancer in her makes me put her on pause from time to time. She is so passionate that i have to take her in small doses. I love the name of her pod bc of that. Like the other cancers i know... those emotions be flowing and at time i can rock and other time im rolling out. Even with the response yall showed - she over it. I get that. But barking back isnt the way (to me at least). It adds fuel to the fire and ultimately that is what people want. She just needs to do what she doing and block all that out. Everyone doesnt have to love you. Everyone isnt going to respect or appreciate your voice. She has to remember that and keep it moving.

I've never thought about it like that. Also her work is that type of old nasty work that takes a minute, hell years to finally understand what's she's trying to do and been saying. But we too have to do the work on ourselves to fully get/understand what she's doing

As an African Dominican, I’d just like to say not Dominicans are black (just like not all Americans are black) the black ones definitely are but there’s some of the African diaspora all over the world 🌍 . Whether or not they’re invited to the cookout is a case by case basis 😅. But ultimately idc who claims their blackness or not, I’m keeping my eyes and arms out for the real ones who are willing to get in the paint with us when it’s time ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽.
