The same albums could have been put in pop, country, country/pop, indie, indie/pop or country/pop, folk, contemporary folk, traditional folk. Or all at once at the same time. Nothing changes with her voice, the chords, the style or the theme. She says the same thing about trouble with her boyfriends. The only things that change are the lyrics and the hook. You get real.

Can...we talk about this? I am Dominican but I claim my Blackness. Now Maddie and Craig I will say from my expirence as a Afro Dominican I get called everything but what I am. I get called African, Jamaican and so on. The mindsets of my people on the island is very seperated because folks as dark as me we are told we are poor because our ancestors are the slaves and the more light skinned dominicans are more european favoring so that means money. So many dominicans want to bleach or skins to feel accepted for example sammy sosa. My issue now is that as a blatino we struggle because they say im not black enough or even latino enough. So what lane do we stand in? I choose both lanes but onlookers will never understand it
