You would think today would help...Oct 26th, 2019. Baghdadi, the real founder of ISIS was killed again in a U.S. led campaign. Trump has already said his death is bigger then the death of Bin Laden.

A friend of mine was living with me at the the time...he had just broken up with his fiancé and asked me if he could stay with me for a little while. I said no problem thinking that meant just a couple weeks until he found his own apartment. Well, he ended up staying with me for like 2 years until I eventually threw him out.
Anyway, while we were living together I used to take baths like every night. I just really liked to do it. I found it relaxing and I would just sit in the tub and read. One night I’m in the tub and my roommate knocks on my bathroom door and says “You might want to come out and watch tv.” I’m like “Why?” He says “We killed Osama Bin Laden. The President is about to make a speech.” So I jumped out of the tub and watched his speech. I’m a Republican and didn’t overly care for some of Obama’s policies, but he definitely nailed that speech. And then I can’t remember if it was that night or later on when they started talking about SEAL Team 6...I had never heard of them. We’ve all heard of the term “Special Forces” and I believe the Army’s Delta Squad was pretty well known, but I think SEAL Team 6 was secret. It was secret to me at least. I still remember texting with my brother and I was like “What’s SEAL Team 6?” and he just responded with “I don’t know but they’re the best we’ve got.”

I remember about 5 minutes after the first tower was hit they turned the tv on, class stopped, then the second tower was hit. About 10 minutes later school was cancelled and we were all sent home.

Patriotism can also be considered a form of mental illness if taken too far...my condolences to all the unmentioned and unknown lost along the way...We will never know the actual truth regarding any of it in the end. And if you dont like my comment, so be it...I am waiting to be forcefully taken to a place of solitary confinement as I will never change my opinion as stated above...Enjoy your new normal

To start out I am 20, being 10 when Sept. 11th occurred.. The reason we as a people celebrated on May 1st and flooded the streets is because Osama was the face of terror for my generation, the boogeyman if u will. He taught us at too young of an age that we were hated because of who we are and what we stood for even though we were too young to know yet. I fight for you and for the USA!!!
    USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
    Hoo- Ah!

Need to point out that both broadcasts you hear are from Phillies broadcasters, not trying to be that guy.

No they aren't. The one that starts at the 30 second mark is Howie Rose, the play by play radio guy for the Mets.

It wouldn’t have been because, as a Sunday Night game, the TV would’ve been ESPN’s broadcasters.
