Because this guy is always surrounded by amazing objects like this he is probably used to it. But if we're to meet her, knowing she is directly related to the person who originally took these legendary pictures. Because these pictures have been with me all my life. Ever since I was a very small child I can remember looking at these pictures and being totally captivated. I must have looked at these amazing pictures for hours, I probably would have fainted. It's like meeting Jesus himself. It's legendary. I can't believe a film hasn't been made about this subject
I love the story of the cottingley fairies, when I was little, (and maybe not so little) I 100% believed them! Hearing that they said they were fake in the 80's all say for 1 photograph, still doesn't make me believe for certain that fairies are not real.
I don't see the harm in believing in fairy's, its acpectable to belive a book someone created in order to make the massive conform aka the Bible, and people today still blindly believe in god and really what proof if there that God is real and fairy's are not ? 🤷♀️

Oh these are nice, let me just smash them with my coat sleeves and scratch my worthless jacket buttons alll over these priceless works of art. Omg. Stop him!!
The photos look fake. They always did? I know from the fifties that we played with all sorts of cut out paper dolls. That's all these were. The movie was charming and I still want there to be fairies.
We all know the photos are fake by now, that's all well and good, but never give up on your beliefs. Fairies are real, even if these ones just happen to not be.
I have a different view. The children told the truth, but they broke the promise to fairies. That is a terrible thing to do. Do I believe in the little people? Yes! Would I tell anyone if I seen one? Absolutely not!!!
I'm currently listening to an Audio book about thr Cottingley Fairies. I love the story and yes I do believe in Fairies..💖💖💖💖 m x
They made it up
I believe the last photo was genuine also.

Come on, those pictures are priceless and extremely valuable historical documents.
One of the best moments I’ve ever seen on tv.

Fairy Tale: A True Story. 1997 Paul McGann and Harvey Keitel
@@nothingAKAnothing Thanks, I'll look out for that
There is a film.
If you look close, he did startle a little when she told him who she was. I think he thought they were copies at first.
There is a film made about the girls and the fairies
I love that they positioned the little girls behind the appraiser.
Une époque merveilleusement poétique où l'on pouvait disserter de l'existence des fées près des rivières et des bois !
fake or not, those are very beautiful photographs
Yes they are, adored the movie! A true way to escape to a beautiful place.
It went for 20k personally I would held in to them I never understand why people sell off family heirlooms.
He is sure handling them roughly and without gloves.
and over stretching the story
Exactly. He is handling the fotos and the cameras much too roughly and without any respect!

Their story is amazing anyway. Made them a but famous even though they might not have been after the fame!
They said in a interview back in 1981 that they made it all up

The grand-daughter sounds like she is from Northern Ireland; i'm from Belfast and recognise it. I've always found this case interesting

I never thought it as a deliberate hoax, just a prank that got out of control

You do know that of all the photos one of them even today cannot be disproved
lol - look at the little @ 3:15 she's almost bored to tears
Awwwwww lol 😆
The originals should be on glass plate negatives.
Wow finally an appraisal that doesnt just focus on $
My old snake oil was fake, but try version 2.

yes 100% agree
The photos have been proven to be of fake fairies have you ever seen princess Mary‘s gift book the illustrations match the fairies in the photographs
She sounds like her Mother!
The two little girls look like they are sad because they said that fairies are not real

I Believe in Sidhe Folk
The people breathing on them in the background are very distracting and annoying.
what if they were actually real but the government told them to shutup
I don't believe in the Cottingley Fairies.
?+Michael Bowie why
idk what to think about, but certainly i believe in fairies.
Elsie and Francis admittes they were fake to The Unexplained in 1981.
Good cause they don’t exist Conan a Doyle should have stuck to writing he was a very gullible man he bought into the fraudulent spiritualists as well.
