For anybody that doesn't know. Not eating much food can actually make you keep weight because your body is afraid that you don't have access to much food. You must eat a certain number of calories every day to be healthy.
Or itll be like mine and always chopse to eat asay at itself. Never keeping any weight even when i dont fast lol or have hyperthyroidism or diabetes or stress
That’s incorrect. Your body does not break the laws of thermodynamics and unless you’re 4’10 and 90 years old your resting metabolic rate (what you’d burn in a coma) is over 1000 calories, so you’re burning well into the thousands per day (as a 5’10 woman I burn about 1800 without exercise). You will lose weight in a caloric deficit. However, it is difficult to get sufficient levels of nutrients if you eat below 1200 calories per day, which is why it’s the minimum recommendation-not because it’s a magical number below which weight loss is impossible, but because it’s unrealistic to hit your daily values of vitamins, minerals, etc. with a drastically reduced caloric intake.
I'm 4'10" and 205lbs, but I 100% improved my health (even if I didn't drop much weight) when I focused on balancing my diet and making sure I was getting enough variety. Like, my cholesterol improved, my liver improved, my blood sugar and blood pressure and heart rate - literally everything any of my doctors were worried about improved just because I cut out the one thing that was really hurting me (gluten) and made sure I was eating a tasty variety of foods I liked and that made me feel good, like dried fruits and homemade meatballs, or tuna pasta salad made with gluten free rotini, tomatoes, olives, and flavored white balsamic vinegar! Nutrition is sooooo important and it's really important to disentangle it from this fear people have, socially, of looking like me, because if you (general you) don't, it'll hurt both you and me. I worry a lot about people less fat than me hurting themselves to avoid looking like me, when I'm fine! Fat, yes; disabled, yes; but I'm fine, I'm happier than I've ever been with my body before, and if anything, that makes me more aesthetically pleasing than being skinny and miserable could ever be.
No one looses weight by eating to fullest. Weight loss by definition is staying hungry and Ya being miserable. Nothing can Bypass this feeling. And yeah this meal is okay, but in low quantities.
What i wish i knew when i was 20: 1. Its calories in, calories out, now matter how you cut it, it really is basic math. I fell into the weightloss industry and it really was a rabbit hole of constant misinformation or twisting half truths to sell you something. 2. Macros matter, ensure you have a balanced diet with a focus on protien. Get in your veg and fruit intake, it will make you feel better and less likely to snack. Avoid empty calories! 3. Weightloss is non linear and you will platue frequently, if you stop losing weight it doesnt mean the diet is not working. Sometimes you will platue for a month and even gain a little weight before you continue to lose it. Do not give up! keep yourself busy instead of constantly thinking about it and weighing yourself daily is a no, once a week is better. I would always give up thinking i failed when i stopped losing weight. 4. the biggest issue you didnt realise you had was portion size. You have become completely desensitised to what an actual portion should be and that also leads to my next main point.. 5. mindful eating, your body will tell you want you want and need but you have completely lost the ability to listen to your body, this is a skill that will take time to reinstate so make sure to pay close attention to the way your body behaves after certain foods, what you are craving, and the big one, when you are hungry and when you are full. 5. Become passionate about making your own meals, its better to make your own meals that getting anything processed from the shops, this might be my own personal conspirecy but i believe food companies are putting specific chemicals and stuffs into any kind of processed foods to make it more addicitive or palletable which causes you to consume more, watch youtubers like Kylie, and others and learn to make your own meals so you have more control over what you are consuming, but also learning to love food instead of fear it. Hope this helps anyone else going through it. If you are struggling, do not be afraid to get help from medical professionals as well. Do not let the stigma around getting help keep you from losing weight, the weightloss industry does not want you to lose weight, it makes money off your inability to lose it on your own, do not forget that.

Not only does increasing your protein and healthy fats keep you feeling satisfied for longer, it especially helps with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. I had a poor diet and found out I was vitamin-deficient even though I had been taking a daily supplement. I increased my protein and healthy fats and it has made a huge difference. Always talk to your doctor and see what you can do.
Thanks for all the tips Kylie. Everything you said, my nutritionist says too. It makes me roll my eyes when people say they have to skip foods to get thin or skip meals. People want to get thin but they don't want to be diligent about it
While not for a lot of people, using a calorie counter helped me a lot for this. Not because I needed to have a caloric budget but because it helped me realize when I need more food and more protein. I was so worried about my weight that I underate breakfast and lunch and binged later. I also didn’t have enough nutrient diversity. Now every week I get individualized feedback on whether I should incorporate some more berries or if I didn’t lift many weights that week and that helps me remember to eat a wide variety of foods. Eating a lot of every macro and micro helped me so much in staying satisfied and happy. Good luck to everyone on their journey!
my problem is that i'm afraid of feeling full which means i have to decide between restlessly hungry or restlessly full. either i can't sleep cause i feel like i ate too much and i need to do a hundred pushups or something, or i can't sleep cause i'm too excited to wake up and eat some cereal. i decided i can't that feeling so i eat cereal then for lunch i have a bit of snack and fruit snd then usually if i have work i dont eat from 4 pm til the next morning
As a former personal trainer, I couldn’t agree more. Many of my old clients, I told them many times that they might be neglecting their protein, carbs or fat and eating less isn’t always the answer to losing weight
+1 So many people lately who vilify carbs. Getting enough micronutrients is very important. Fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables are both amazing at this.
more people should learn this. don't cut - add. there was a time I thought butter and oil were "bad" so I didn't get enough fats. I had stomach problems because of that and had to drink medicine with food instead 🗿
This is so true. I remembered the time I have been eating less the first time I diet to the point I skip a meal from the 3 and focused so much on calories. I failed and gave up and end up eating again and gained so much weight. Right now, I don’t even care about cal, I care about the protein and good carb content and eat something I want in moderation. I am so so so consistent I’m not kidding and when I exercise, I don’t feel tired . Throughout my journey so far have been so much better and not restrictive. Even tho I eat more, I don’t feel bad because I have come to the point where I don’t have expectations anymore. I just love eating and exercising
Thank you for this because ppl forget that more protein or fiber helps you stay satisfied and full longer and you can eat what you want but u won’t be tempted to snack or eat as much
Isn’t the only way to lose weight is by eating less calories than you burn. so it doesn’t matter what you eat as long and you’re burning more than you consume. Course you should be getting all your nutrients still though
This is all I eat cuz I’m too lazy to marinate meat all the darn time and love food too much to eat salt and pepper white chicken. I’m still 25 pounds fatter from Covid 😢😂
I always count calories to lose weight. I eat plenty of lean protein and pair it with plenty veggies. I'm not afraid of carbs I just make sure to have protein and veggies with them. My favorite carbs are lean 40 calorie bread and brown rice 🌾🍚🌾 I heard shrimp cocktail sauce has carbs (who would've thought?) But shrimp cocktail is also a big part of my diet. I was 176 lbs last year, this year I'm 114 lbs!
I gain weight at 500 caloires due to several illnesses and medications and birth control. Only way i lose weight is if i fast 24 hours then eat less then 700 cals the next day.
This is so true. When I was counting calories and being really strict on macros, I'd find myself having to eat MORE at the end of the night because I wasn't getting what I needed! Balance is everything.

Not eating much food can actually make you keep weight because your body is afraid that you don't have access to much food. You must eat a certain number of calories every day to be healthy.
Nice try CAHMS. My eating disorder isn’t that stupid😎
@@Layer03cyberia lol
@@Layer03cyberiaperiod.
Good on you for getting out of the toxic cycle that our society pushes on us! I hope you're still feeling good and eating well!
Try cutting out sugarly drinks.
Good advice!
I love asian food. Kylie, you're a wonderful chef. Your cooking always looks so delicious and satisfying.
This is moronic. Losing weight is just about calories. I'm a professional boxer who has lost so many lbs over the years. It's so simple
No one looses weight by eating to fullest.
Weight loss by definition is staying hungry and Ya being miserable.
Nothing can Bypass this feeling.
And yeah this meal is okay, but in low quantities.
My diet plan be like:
200kcal per day eat whatever you want but only eat 200-300kcal per day
Everyone watching video,while l'm enjoying the Howl's music❤😂

I can't lie. I look at your content because you're beautiful. The information is a bonus.
What i wish i knew when i was 20:
Where can i get the recipe please?
What you say on your videos is very nice and motivating
But it would help alot if you can link or write the recipe.
Tjank you
I mean you can be in a caloric deficit while having everything. But in moderation
Is there a recipe for this? It looks so good 😋
Looks so good 👍 😍. Subscribed to the channel for more amazing videos 👏 👌 📹.

Can you share the recipe of what you cooked on this video? It looks soooo yummy.
Balance over restriction! Stellar advice! 💗
The key is get real comfortable with cooking at home and love that shi!!
False
Do you have somewhere where you show the instructions/ingredients to make all the meals you show?
carbs aren't bad for you, you need carbs
Hit your macros: fat, protein, carbs. I found when I hit my protein goal for the day I am never hungry to want to eat excess.
Love love your advice. I've been eating more fruits and protein and its so filling and I continue to eat food I love just not as much
Not sugar in my sauce. Nope nope nope
As much as i love these type of reels i wish i knew what sauce she put on the noodles
Girl we need that recipe
my problem is that i'm afraid of feeling full which means i have to decide between restlessly hungry or restlessly full. either i can't sleep cause i feel like i ate too much and i need to do a hundred pushups or something, or i can't sleep cause i'm too excited to wake up and eat some cereal. i decided i can't that feeling so i eat cereal then for lunch i have a bit of snack and fruit snd then usually if i have work i dont eat from 4 pm til the next morning
same. bruh. feeling full is such an ugly greasy and fat feeling.
As a former personal trainer, I couldn’t agree more. Many of my old clients, I told them many times that they might be neglecting their protein, carbs or fat and eating less isn’t always the answer to losing weight
+1
So many people lately who vilify carbs.
Getting enough micronutrients is very important.
Fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables are both amazing at this.
love this video and howls moving castle ost 😤😤
Thank You for good food Jesus!
The noodle so soggy (?)
Where can i find this recipe?!
more people should learn this. don't cut - add. there was a time I thought butter and oil were "bad" so I didn't get enough fats. I had stomach problems because of that and had to drink medicine with food instead 🗿
Ok.....🤔.. So I'll just add veggies and chick peas to my ramen noodles! Thanks!😜
Full recipe please
Gorgeous girl ❤
Where's the recipe?
me eating lasagna and adding the nutrients on top 😌💖
Thank you for this because ppl forget that more protein or fiber helps you stay satisfied and full longer and you can eat what you want but u won’t be tempted to snack or eat as much
Love it! Where’s the full recipe?
Isn’t the only way to lose weight is by eating less calories than you burn. so it doesn’t matter what you eat as long and you’re burning more than you consume. Course you should be getting all your nutrients still though
yes but eating in a calorie deficit is way easier if you eat a balanced diet full of fruits and vegetables.

Recipes please!
I lost my 30 kg weight in less than 3 months by simple technique.
what do you use for the sauce? and what kind of noodles? please
@NutritionByKylie - love your videos! What is the sauce recipe for this yummy dish? 🤩
This is all I eat cuz I’m too lazy to marinate meat all the darn time and love food too much to eat salt and pepper white chicken. I’m still 25 pounds fatter from Covid 😢😂
What’s the recipe, does anyone know ? 😁🧐
Ooh okay! Amazing advice
Great tips and so true. I’m eating more protein and my cravings completely diminish. But … can we please talk about you GORGEUS HAIR 😱😍🥰
I eat plenty of protein, fruit, & vegetables. I’m still hungry 🥲🥲🙃🙃🙃
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Traders joes has a low cal veggie chow mien that’s like 200 cal per serving! I get that and add my fave protein to it!
I’ve never realised how much anxiety being hungry gives me until I watched this.
⚖️
I always count calories to lose weight. I eat plenty of lean protein and pair it with plenty veggies. I'm not afraid of carbs I just make sure to have protein and veggies with them. My favorite carbs are lean 40 calorie bread and brown rice 🌾🍚🌾 I heard shrimp cocktail sauce has carbs (who would've thought?) But shrimp cocktail is also a big part of my diet. I was 176 lbs last year, this year I'm 114 lbs!
That looks so yummy! 😋
Intuitive eating
I gain weight at 500 caloires due to several illnesses and medications and birth control. Only way i lose weight is if i fast 24 hours then eat less then 700 cals the next day.
