Yep, the poison needle is good for the small metal slimes too, probably good for those shy liquid metal slimes that run away from you. I think its good for all metal slime types because its poison type attacks.
So I owe you an apology for doubting you about the Uber Falcon Sword, i was absolutely convinced you'd done some fancy editing to make that work, but I tried it out myself and... holy crap, it's legit. Thank you for my nearly 130 attack new favorite weapon XD
Man I really needed that Coral Cay video. I can't find any Player building on there. I went to the island three times and still haven't found an NPC to recruit there.
@Evil I got lucky with the Gold Golem. Had him on there the very first time and could recruit him immediately. Two of of three times I have seen him he spawned on the outer ring and once on a tiny island in the middle.
@Evil Okay thats that. Coral Cay doesn't have any buildings to begin with. You can push square on island select screen to see how many buildings you have found. And Coral Cay simply has none.
@@BenXC Nah. I am still missing a certain Villager somewhere though. I have 11/12 and I thought the one I am missing would be on Coral Cay. Since this isn't the case I have to check every other island again.
Yay a new video 😊 the tip with the poison needle is really helpful so thanks to the person who commented that! Can you also maybe make a video on how to farm hearts? It takes forever to get all islands :/
You probably already know this, but if you pour normal water into the poison pools the water displaces and cleans out the section you poured into. I found this out by accident when getting the chest on Moonbrooke.
Oh wow, using glass instead of the bottomless pot is so much better. I trapped my Metal King Slime when I got tired of running after it and it suicided by going into the water abyss :( But now I know I can use the poison needle :D
Mini-Bosse kann man auch mit der Giftnadel sofort töten, falls der Effekt irgendwann mal trifft ^^' hab ich schon sehr oft hingekriegt. Also sie sind nicht immun gegen den sofort-Tod Effekt =)
So this is where you obtain magnetite... i was wondering where you would get those. Say, is there a way for you to go back to Malhalla, or is there an Explorer's Shores equivalent? I'd like to know where you can get the items exclusive to Malhalla.
An easy way to kill the green troll is to lay down a bunch of spikes in his area so that he has no choice but to stand on them. Then let him kill you. When you respawn, go back to him, but keep just enough distance so as not to initiate battle. Now watch his health meter. If he's standing on the spikes, he'll slowly die. Once his health meter is in the red, engage him and finish him off.
@@BenXC I forget why dying was even an option for me. I think I may have been having trouble getting him to go back to his spawn point when I disengaged him or something.
I thought the best weapon was gained from getting all the mini medals since u do get the Liquid metal Sword recipe for doing them all or at least 90 mini medals
You can defeat the troll easy with to flag of war (I forgot the name ) and you can have a healer solder a red solder and the blue solder that can do a spin attack .
G’day Ben, thanks for all of your vids. Although I am really confused by something. Why don’t you use food items to give you status buff? I always have some fried eggs for extra attack power and cooked crab claw for defence. Also for the last couple of islands I have some coffee to prevent sleep.
Verfolge dich jetzt schon seit release, klingst ziemlich deutsch. Deswegen frag ich dich jetzt einfach so. Kannst du mir sagen, wo man die giftnadel herkriegt? Hab die Mini Bosse bisher immer gemieden... xD btw nicer content, weiter so! :D

I got an off-topic question: Will there be an option in late game or post game to spend gratitude points (the hearts you get from residents)? I am still playing the story (moonbrooke) atm. It seems to me, that gratitude points are pretty worthless once you unlock all "material islands" and the purchaseable recipes.
If you build a buggy buggy on the island is significantly easier to beat them like I cannot beat them on foot but if you’re having like a tough time to be in the troll just use a buggy buggy.
seems this island has a spawning issue and sometimes checklist items won't spawn, magnetite veins did not appear for me and the echo flute said there was nothing left.

3 Years late. I just wanted to share a cheaty way to defeat the big bosses, like the troll or the dragon on the next island. 1st: get near them, duh. 2nd: build a pillar below you by jumping an placing a block below your feet. build high enough that the boss cant hit you anymore. 3rd: strike in the direction of the boss. if you don't hit him, remove a block from below you and try again. when you start hitting him.... keep hitting, duh. optional: build a very small platform to prevent accidental slip and falls. easiest way to kill bosses. warning: does not work with arch-demon on isla perfuma. his explosions go further than his hitbox.
@@zaifereckgonzalez7633 maybe that you completed the item lists of those islands? I haven't played the story mode for a few years now so I don't know anymore 😅

i had that same 100 builders build on the same isle, also had a singer called carol!
