There's something about his eyes and the way he stares at people that's inviting and haunting at the same time, also some seriousness for lack of a better word and his beauty is different from other man, there's something deep and dangerous about him and I'm telling this in present form because watching this makes it hard to believe he's gone .

@@nursefaerie3009 his friends " John Frushiante" and many other's failed him. John gave him the poison drink that killed him and never called 911. That's what I meant.
ícҽís թհօҽղíx It’s easy to blame others, but that could have easily been Frusciante that died and River alive today with people saying River failed him. They knowingly used together, no one forced anyone, risks were taken, no one thinks that will be the last time, they just care about the feeling or lack there of, or to not be ill. His friends and family that were there did all they could have by calling 911 and trying to resuscitate him. I wish naloxone was invented many decades ago as many people would still be with us. River was an amazing person and it is so sad that he passed away. But I’m sure River wouldn’t say his friends failed him. I hope that the way he passed opened the eyes to others so they could make changes in their lives to get the help they needed for their substance use disorder. I believe he’d want people to just be kind to one another, to animals, and to the Earth.
@@nursefaerie3009 you're kidding right? River would NEVER give somebody a drink so deadly it could kill 8 people. River was SO ANGRY the nite he died he SCREAMED to Frusciante " WHAT THE F__K is in this drink". Then he got even more angry and shouted to Depp that he was " going to die". Take off your rose colored glasses. Sure peace love and kindness is just wonderful but in this case there was no peace love and kindness the nite River was murdered. River got VIOLENTLY sick for about 30 minutes. Frusciante bailed and never called 911. Some friend. After his murder Frushiante made up some lame excuse that River didn't want to be in this world which was a total lie. I never said his family failed him. I said his FRIENDS failed him please learn to comprehend.
Height down is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever listened to, and I'll never stop listening to it. I heartily recommend it to anyone who hasn't heard it. Bless your soul, River.
I’ve been learning a lot about River lately, what a kind and thoughtful actor and person. You can see he is struggling too. But still, that persistence and intelligence is just mesmerizing. That Holden Caulfield reference just goes to show how bright he was. What a gorgeous soul we lost.
i love listening to him talk like i could listen to his voice all day hes just such a kind soul and he radiates such a great energy. i wish he was here for my generation to have experienced :( 🕊❤️
I would do anything to have him alive and interview him, or just amicably talk. I loved all his choices in his film career and him and his brother inspired me to go vegan. To Talk about songwriting, books, projects, animals with him Can only happen in my dreams... He just seemed so friendly and patient. He definitely had conviction and enjoyment with his passions, I wish he could have been understood or related to more in life. This celebrity lifestyle was not ideal, it was hard, and created this self loathing and lonely place in him... he probably just wanted to be anonymous or focus on art and his environment work. I wish I could thank him for the art he made-it helped me more then once with my own depression and addictions.
Lisa Surlie he wasn’t a bad influence cuz no one knew about it until after he died. He was a good person who had good intentions but fell between the cracks of Hollywood. Unfortunately like many other child actors. Read up on his life and you’ll know.

He was 5 years older than me, but all I see now is a baby.
I miss River 🥺
Just seeing him opposite my beloved Keanu in “My Own Private Idaho” devastates me still. And salves at the same time. Miss River’s presence in this world.
He's so sweet, adorable and so down to earth. Now I get what his friends & family says about him. How kind and beautiful inside and out. God I miss him. It's just unfair he was taken way too soon. 😞😖🤧☹️
It's a shame his friends failed him
ícҽís թհօҽղíx What an awful thing to say. They are the ones that knew him and miss him daily, how did they fail him?
Omg I have never seen this before 🥺😭❤️

Height down is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever listened to, and I'll never stop listening to it. I heartily recommend it to anyone who hasn't heard it. Bless your soul, River.
John Frushiante 👎
OMG... 😍😍😍 I love River so much... Thanks for this... So cute 💙 miss you 😢😢
James Williams what do you mean?
I love River so so so much❤❤
I’ve been learning a lot about River lately, what a kind and thoughtful actor and person. You can see he is struggling too. But still, that persistence and intelligence is just mesmerizing. That Holden Caulfield reference just goes to show how bright he was. What a gorgeous soul we lost.
I was surprised that the interviewer didn’t know that reference. Holden Caulfield is a famous literary character.
Words can't express how much Perfect he was.. River I Love you 😫

he speaks like an innocent toddler and a witty adult at the same time. i love him
Because he was both innocent and wise at the same time! 💔
That is it the perfect way to describe it 🖤👏🏼
and here I am thinking I've seen every River Phoenix interview... thank your for this one!
Birthday coming in 5 days 🥳🥳🥳🎂 happy birthday in Advance river sir
