have a 2019 Ezgo Freedom, based on your post on diagnosis and replacing throttle sensor, if anything after replacing sensor chattering continued and actually got worse.
This could be my problem.. but.. it was pulled 2 blocks back to house without switching to tow mode. When they got to driveway, smoked was coming from electric motor. Haven't looked at it yet. Deciding if I should order another motor.
Mine was running full speed. Then suddenly stopped. Now it appears to still take a charge but will not move. Could this be the throttle sensor? It seems like i can here a click in the controller box when i push the peddle?
I don't think the solenoid would be the issue. It is just the connection from the throttle to the motor. It shouldn't regulate the current. I'm afraid it could be the controller
@@jefflynn4079 yep I didn't want to think that but you are probably right! Well I've done everything but controller so to the shop it goes. Probably go ahead a get a beefier one.
Did you figure out what was wrong? I have the same symptom (full speed at slightest touch, then cuts out at like 40% throttle). Wondering if you know where I should look?
Were you able to get a reading from that sensor i have checked resistance and voltage and don't see any changes

Thanks much , this was my problem ++
Testing the motor,& teting the controler

Good find-I spent a $1000 on other parts before I thought to change this.
Wow! I’m glad the video helped.
damn, thought i was listening to Billy Bob Thornton
:) I can’t hide the country boy in me.
Hey Jeff, can you add the part make and model number you used?

I have the same issue I think?? Solenoid acts engaged but nothing moves. Guess I'll order this part
I hope it works.
I'm going through this now with a 2004 model.
Have electric ezgo golfcart , take foot off peddle cart still moves just a bit slower
How many ohms?
I changed my inductive speed sensor but no success. Wasted 27.00! Now to solenoid??? My cart goes to full speed at slightest touch of peddle???

Full speed with a little throttle should be the speed sensor that goes on the electric motor
