Thanks for the peace and quiet, listening to the things you're doing as you work without speaking or music is total Zen for me. Cool Project!
Cool video it speaks for itself. Without excessive narration and no annoying background music. Just straight forward self explanatory 👍
If you want to hear my commentary instead of nothing, let me know. I'll re-upload it with me talking when I get back from PRI.
Both versions will be ok to suit everyone's needs but todays video just made sense with no commentary 😁😁😁
I tend to enjoy not hearing you speak.. ;) All jokes aside, it was pretty self explanatory.
I like your commentary on your videos. Especially the reasoning why you choose to do something in a certain way.
This video was self explanatory, so no harm done.
Yeah, i like the commentary when you explain and offer things. For simple videos like this, the backstory and occasional joke are still welcome though.
love hear your voice and explanations more
Sell those parts as a kit that people put together! That looks super handy for other things too. Thanks.
Shut up and TAKE MY MONEY !!
Nicely done Sir. I watch you to learn. Actually paid 100% attention no distraction. No useless yammering, not that you would. Cheers 🍻👍👍👍
I look forward to all of your videos. Trying to get my own fab shop going so I always learn a thing or 2. If I was you, I would make these in a kit for sure. A 3", 6", 10" and maybe a 15" would be great. I like these over a bessy clamp because you cam have as wide of a footprint as you want instead of messing up a $50+ cast clamp
Good to see Mega Maid in action.
I'm in love with the plasma man! What's that threaded ball nut called? Thanks for quick build video and thanks for not including music.
The part is called a toggle pad.
@@TheFabricatorSeries Thanks.
@@TheFabricatorSeries Thanks for replying to him, I was getting ready to ask you where you found such a big diameter swivel foot spindle, now I know its a toggle pad!
Good looking clamp, sell them as a weld it yourself kit. Are you sure you got enough red Loctite on it? LOL! Thanks for a straight forward how you build it video.
Praying to Jobu to hold your stock steady is no good. Sometimes you have to say "Fuck You, Jobu. I do it myself" and make yourself a big ass clamp.
Glad to see I'm not the only one still wearing DCs. Yeah I have no encouraging words, I see a video here and already know it's a 100.
you went all out on making a cool c clamp man 😁🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥👍👍👍👍
Cheers for showing us how you do what you do. I enjoy hearing your commentary, voice over or as you go. Gives more insight into why you make certain decisions and more knowledge is passed on. Keep up the great work!
As my dad use to say You are a clever guy. Thanks
I liked the ending. 🙂
2 things. Does your grinding table have suction through the bottom?
Nice fireball layout tools. It's funny when channels collide.
No comments just doing with some nice camera shots and editing! Great job!
Merry Christmas mate
Your nozzle tip makes my ocd hurt🤣
Do you have a hat to keep Jobu's welders warm?
Why weld the nut on the outside edge and not the inside edge? Easier to finish out or...?
"what is my purpose"
-you hold stuf
"oh my God"
Ahh, been to Mc Fadden Dales!
Nice!
Do you have a parts list for the clamp? Trying to locate the threaded foot and bolt, trying to help my son can build one
hey there! have a couple things for ya... the first is a question. what is the wire wheel/cup you're using to remove the dross from plasma cutting? any details on the make/model/etc would be greatly appreciated! I also wanted to say thanks so much for putting your channel out there and sharing your experience, talent and passion for fabricating. it's cool when someone with your depth of knowledge shares in a humble way, invites questions and encourages others. not a lot of people can pull that off... and you do it quite well. thanks for your time man and have a merry christmas!
I love making tools to make tools. 🤣😭😍🤣
Very nice.
Is there a reason why you dont run water in your plasma table? At my last job we were running a table of the same size if not a bit bigger. And i was taught that running water up to about 1/4 inch from the plate reduced the amount of slag buildup up the back of the cut.
Genuinely curious. That was my first time running anything like that. And its in a very old school type shop, so not much was explained except the bare minimum of what i needed to know. Did it for like 8mo before i switched to being a fabricator.
There's 2 types of tables - water and downdraft. Mine is a downdraft. Some argue over which one is better, but they both do the same thing. I prefer downdraft since it doesn't waste water in the summer due to evaporation, there's less maintenance, and it doesn't freeze in the winter.

And if the piece you cut drops down you're not fishing it out of a horrible slimy gunk, and when cleaning it out you don't have rusted crap forming a past with the dust.
For anyone who wondered, like I did, te-co toggle pad
Would you recommend a specific brand of machine to get started in the tig process?
I just want a link to that sprayer head for the wd40 bottle to be honest
0:42 you didn't safely eject that USB. Shame! SHAAAAAAME!
SO Was That TSFASMR
I guess...
Enjoyed vid, feel like owe you an apology. It was great to interact on the live stream, sorry i lf sharing my website with you was inappropriate on the stream... keep up the good work.
So you joined the ASMR girls on RUclips ;)
I do miss the Voiceover although I have to admit, this kind of build content does work for itself without it.
Dope
👍
Where'd you get that pivoty end thing? What's it called?
Search "Te-Co Toggle Pad" to find it in various sizes 👍
@@branchandfoundry560 Thanks! "Swivel Tip" seems to be the magic incantation for McMaster Carr.
Commentary is good, or a narration after the video is completed, I listen to RUclips while driving, so silent videos are no good to me
You oughta look into a brand new thing called "Podcasts". It's like TV for blind people.
congrats, you made a c-clamp
RIP HDR display viewers 🤣😎
Oh how I miss the whirr of your dulcet tones
Jason is probably thinking of 16 different ways you could have fixtured that to a Fireball table, if only you had one :)
Would like moderate talking but no music
I'm personally offended by your brownie nozzle.
Give us Justin back!!!! Is this a 5 minute craft video?
Not a craft vid... I actually built something useful using a skill.
@@TheFabricatorSeries miss your stile of making videos.
I typed on my keyboard to post this comment
Are you going to make good videos again or am I subscribed for nothing?
Cool. I don't think you got nearly enough Loctite Red on that bolt though... Try to do better next time... LOL
Always use Loctite as if you didn't pay for it.
I would use the small bandsaw that you used to cut the small parts for this project. Hope that was enough thread locker.
AvE says the bigger the gob, the better the job. I'm in no position to argue with a man of such esteemed knowledge.
If that was red Loctite it's nearly as good as brazing imo, it's not coming off without a spanner.
Great vid as always, would ❤️ a bit of commentary buddy 😀👍
The no commentary build video was a nice touch.
Dude, it's been 2 years. What happened to the car you were building?
I'm surprised you didn't Tig weld all this😂
Diversity, my friend. Diversity.
🤌🤌🤌
dude, that floor mat on the table at 2:30 is so big brain.
We did you get that swivel pad on the threaded rod? That's like the perfect premade accessory for a shop made clamp
Search "Te-Co Toggle Pad" to find it in various sizes 👍
When removing the slag after cutting the parts--what did you use on your grinder? Seems like it removing slag quickly
I wish you would do a review video on Harbor Freights best welder, the Omnipro Vulcan 220 and compare it to similar or better budget Tig Welders.
Video style with no commentary reminds me of the “cold welding” videos you see 😂
its the tools that make the job easier and safer .. heavy duty clamp "nice" 🙂
Cool video😆😆
I know they aren’t new, but I recently discovered hand held laser welders. Can you give your $.02 on them?
Where’s that car you were building?
Bruh... the only thing that needed to be said in this whole video was unfortunately not said. After you clamp something you are supposed to look at it with an over abundance of confidence and say “ that’s not going anywhere”🤦🏼♂️
There is always next time I guess🤷🏼♂️.
Where did you get the swivel end to the clamp?
From his previous reply "The part is called a toggle pad"
Hey that’s pretty neat!
What happened to the custom pickup truck you were building from chassis up two years ago? Did you abandon it?
Any detail is important to make quality products. Especially as a welder.
Joboo that's awesome Kool clamp
Adjusting the cut focus on the laser my help reduce some grinding time but the end of the day the job was done perfect !
I'd rather hear you explain dimensions and why this and why that. Personally it keeps people interested while not knowing why the hell or how.
I am from Brazil I follow you job.
That’s Great
Where did you source the threaded parts from? Very cool project!
bro clean your mig gun tip aaall you have to do is run aa screwdriver along the inside of it your welds will be much better
Bro needs a tan or a health check😅
Let me know when you build one that I can fit a mother-in-law in...Thanks in advance...
We're gonna need a bigger CNC table 🤣
I'm sure you can scale this design what ever you like, although not sure if you be able to lift it by hand at appropriate size. But fear not farmers have solution,😉 it's called bale clamp, mountable on any loader, tractor or forklift😉
Loved that style video!!
What is the swiveling pad nut part attached to the threaded rod called?
"The part is called a toggle pad"
Stolen from another response.
@@MAGAMAN Thanks!
Dude, Simple but elegant! I don't have a CNC plasma table but, now I know I need one. If my Grandson watched that video, he could build that clamp. I like that Fireball square you got there! Thanks!
I think I prefer with commentary as you sometimes do non-intuitive things (to me at least) and commentary might explain why.
In this video for instance : why didn't you weld the bracing tubes flat rather than vertical ? And why did you weld the endplate vertical downhill rather than flat as well ?
Is Justin MIA? New sub here I caught up on all his videos, I spent the last week I was off in an ice storm watching all his videos lol. I have been welding for 15 years and what this guy teaches is top-notch. You know, there are a lot of welders and ALOT of different styles of welders, and what he is teaching you guys is 100%. He's taking all the unnecessary bull-shit out and throwing the basics down, once y'all get going you'll see what i mean.
Been binging your channel lately, love the varied content. I would like to get your take on welding oil pump screens/pickups onto cast iron oil pump bodies. Seems to be alot of misinformation out there. Keep the videos coming, thaks.
Please a review of the CK Worldwide MT 200 T tig machine, I've seen it in your shop lol, P.S. you are one of the finest instructors of cool sh*t on earth.
do you still recommend the primeweld tig welder? I wanted to use your amazon affiliate link but there isn't one on your amazon page
The no talking aspect makes it look like one of those third world country videos. A lot of them are great, more power to them, but this video falls in that category.
The silent video kind of made it oddly satisfying.
Was that Jobu ?
That's way to fancy, I buy them cheap ass harbor freight and throw em around with no care lol
What happened to the tube frame truck you were building like a year and a half -2 years ago?
nice tool build, what tip did you use on the clamping bolt?
I would buy a kit or the plans to make this
Good to see another vid mate 👍🇦🇺
You built the hell out of that clamp!
Can you make an .stl available?
Great video! Cool clamp!
Jobu💜
Jobu
Nice work
👏
