Not to be picky, but this matters: if you were to time the 60-0 stop time separately, you would get a longer result than just capturing the 60-0 of the 100-0 measurement. The reason is that there's a bit of lag between hitting the beginning of the pedal and reaching maximum braking force. On the 100-0 you were already at maximum braking force when you reached 60, so you continued breaking optimally.

@@flyingphoenix113 slower accelerating and less premium and more expensive than ALL rivals - along with this costs much more to maintain, worse mileage and more unreliable
2:30 I swear, the moment I saw Mat's reaction I knew it was something like a 0.01s improvement
You know what they say about İtalian cars: If there is no oil underneath, there is no oil in the engine neither
they are not very bad though
After owning several, can say, inaccurate 👍
@@brenttucker0101 I actually love italian cars, they are generally piece of art. But this is what i heard from another car enthushiast, it is a rumor. Don't take it seriously 😁 (But we have 5 german cars maybe we can replace one with İtalian one)
This is rather for english cars.
Thank you for teaming up with top drives❤
The M, AMG, RS, Q4, F, GTS and Turbo trims would be preferable to this Trofeo. Aside from that, great 👍
Finally, for the maserati’s fan boys . You got a raise the car
He says m5 killer but also does 0 to 60 in 4 seconds😂
Not to be picky, but this matters: if you were to time the 60-0 stop time separately, you would get a longer result than just capturing the 60-0 of the 100-0 measurement. The reason is that there's a bit of lag between hitting the beginning of the pedal and reaching maximum braking force. On the 100-0 you were already at maximum braking force when you reached 60, so you continued breaking optimally.
Agreed but if he measures all of the different cars with the same method, then it's still useful.
Insane! 😵💫
So cool that it's got a Ferrari engine 👏
As soon as you raced it, the Maserati depreciated $50,000 lol.
Maserati, for when you decided your Range Rover was too reliable.

Cool car, but if I'm going to spend this amount of money, I'd go for the Quattroporte. It's larger and has the same engine. But then again, I'd save most of the money and buy a 2009 Quattroporte S or Automatica (the one with the torque-converter, not the auto-manual), using the leftover 100k for fuel and maintenance. Plus, the older car has the glorious 4.7-liter V8 which is one of the best V8 noises ever made.
amazing looking from the front but looks like a hyundai i40 in the back
The back looked like i40 but the interior looked like Daihatsu Copen Active Top! 😂
I think it looks more like a mazda 3 rear haha.
You're a blind and a troll.
Exterior refresh is ok - time for a complete redesign ... Interior also could benefit from a total redesign ... Maserati "Trident" let's go ... Slainte' ! Cheers !
Very impressive Maserati! You equaled the exact same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times as the 2003 Mercedes Benz E55 and 2003 Audi RS6 with your 2023 Trofeo …..that’s what I call 20 years of progress 👍🏻
I bet women love you..
Said someone ironically.
Maybe it’s just me but it’s nothing exciting with Maserati anymore. Drove the new Levante GT the last days and, just from driving perspective, there is hardly a difference between this one or a regular Volkswagen
On paper it may not match up w the Germans, but in the looks and sound department, it scores big points. And the interior is pure Italian and smells great.
I did like Ghibli before but when I did buy one I'm loving it such a nice car I'm happy 👍👍
meh just get an Alfa Giulia quadrifoglio
We should be glad just for the cause this car exists. Go Italy indeed❤
Maserati just announced no more V8s unfortunately, this is the last of its kind
Thank god for that. Whoever buys this is a moron.
