The Joseph Smith Memorial building used to be the Hotel Utah. My Grandmother was a waitress there in the 40s and 50s. Served many US Presidents. Outstanding Video. Thank You.

Been in the Tabernacle. ( 70's) The columns are 45 degree shaped pieces of wood glued together with horse hair all around and continues to the top to form the columns. It's an amazing work.

Yeah if your Mormon, if not it's a little uncomfortable moving into a new neighborhood, especially if your black. Not many out here, so the whole neighborhood stares.

Thank you so much man for showing us Utah! As a foreigner I don't know a lot about Utah, mostly we heard about NYC, California, Texas and etc, but omg SLC is so cozy and clean and people seem there are so family oriented.

It's pretty rare to see the sky that clear around SLC. Usually it's pretty smoggy and often it's so bad you can't even see the mountains. With the lake drying up the air gets filled with particulate matter containing arsenic. I fear property values are going to drop once cancer and respiratory illness rates start skyrocketing. I've already had 3 close family members die early to respiratory illness. I believe it was the constant exposure to pollution that killed them.

Utah is very pretty, but if your not Mormon it can be very strange, and uncomfortable. You will learn that not being Mormon shuts a lot of doors for you. Also if your black it's not going to be the place for you, people will say they are not Racist, but will stare at your family the whole time your in the store. Your going to stand out like a sore thumb in Utah if your Black. We use to make jokes about being in traffic....Saying "I bet there's a Black person walking down the street", because of the stopped traffic, and everyone trying to stare at them....There's your facts!

    • @dynaa4168

honestly tht is just your experience..you cant say all of the people there are racist just because you encounter a few tht are racist. thts like saying if i met some unwelcoming people in nw york, then everyone in new york is the same which isnt true
