I use the MagSafe Duo Charger. I travel with mine often but I never fold mine while packing it into my backpack or luggage case.
I also was sorta forced to buy the 30w charging brick since I only use first party Apple accessories because I can change the outlet prongs with the Apple International Travelers Kit.

I bought it and now that I see the durability Im going to return. 180 folds is not much at all. Shocked at this.
I'm still keeping it guys cuz I leave it sitting on my desk, unfolded, mostly. But I AM CONCERNED whenever I have to fold it
@@mintmindy i kept mine also. Just too convenient and like you it stays folded out on my nightstand then if I travel I’ll fold and take it with me.

I would love to see apple develop one that didn’t fold and in the center or side had a Qi charger for AirPods because being able to use one base with the magnetic feature for the watch and phone would be great for a bedside table or desk.

You’re the first RUclipsr talking about this product that actually highlighted the crease fabric looking part in the middle between the chargers. It’s personally why I’m hesitant to buy this I feel it’s hanging by a thread. What’s the middle part made of btw?
Hey there!! Yep, I read up that the entire MagSafe Duo is made of a kind of rubbery white material, so yep it does develop some crease when folded. I've owned the MagSafe Duo for a while now. But, I leave it open mostly by my bedside table and it's still doing well! :)

Apple usually has a serial number on their products and you can check the serial number on their website to confirm the authenticity
@@mintmindy Hey, Mindy. I’m surprised by your fast answer. Yes, I have a serial number which seems to be valid. But I also diagnosed it with 3utools for windows and found that even though the cable is official, the model is A2560 (which is non existent in the Apple database). I was wondering if you would be able to help me with your cable model number. I will also send you a digital coffee for your help :)
Hi Dorian! My cable does not have any written digits or model number engraved onto it. But I think one way to check for authenticity of the Magsafe Duo is to check if there is a charging animation for the watch & the iPhone when you place them onto it. Thus far, I think only Apple's Magsafe Devices can trigger the animations on the watch and the iPhone. Hope this helps.
@@mintmindy Hey again! The charger itself seems to be fine, but I am a bit concerned about the lightning cable. I've used this: www.3u.com/tutorial/articles/10368/how-to-use-genuine-accessories-detection and this was my output: ibb.co/LPnTdTp . Seems pretty official, right? It's Apple's 2020 Pride Watch band! They discontinued it after 1 year! but you can get 3rd party ones off Amazon: geni.us/XCf4f
How long does it take to full charge an iphone 12 with magsafe duo?
It took it 4.5 hrs with my iPhone 12 Pro Max! So it should be much less with the iPhone 12 :)
I noticed it works when connected to your Mac but will it work with the new magic keyboard ?

Hmm... That's a good question. I haven't tried it. I've tried connecting the magsafe duo to my iPad Pro via usb-c-lightning cable. However, it doesn't charge anything. On the other hand, iPad Pro is able to charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
So you also have a Nomad charger 3 in 1? How is it?
and probably i'm also not going for magsafe Dual, by Your recommendations :) it is expensive.

Why can't you standup phone, that would have improved design. IS there an option to standup phone while charging?
