you can switch to android and do it with one tap instead of manually doing everything one after one.
You can do that with shortcuts
iOS: Just go through the apps one by one with shortcuts, and then hide all the boring apps in a folder
Android: There's a big section of the play store dedicated to this, plus your launcher might already have custom icon support built in. Have fun, don't worry, you can change everything in a few clicks anyway.

New macOS releases actually use sth called neumorphism that could maybe make it to iOS - flat icons with very realistic shadows and depth. The best of both worlds imo

Old iOS just makes the icons look so interesting, with so much detail, while with newer phones and new iOS the icons are quite plain.
You can change the icons if you have pictures of old iOS icons.
I like the way the apps look on the current iOS and I love how customizable it is now.
You should stick with iPhone, because seeing how customisable an Android phone can be would blow your mind.

I'm not an iPhone guy, but old icons for sure. I've never been a fan of the flat look the internet took on back in 2012. I miss when website buttons and the like had texture and depth to them. Where they looked like glass with a light shining on them.

I've always been an Android user but I remember almost going iPhone when iOS 7 introduced its massive redesign. The more minimal, colourful icons really speak to me.
