There's some type of glitch in the beginning of the video where the frame freezes, this was caused during the export, and I only noticed it after posting the video, sorry about that!
Im sure most fpv pilots and myself are wondering only about the vtx's performance compared to the 03. Even though the 04 will be a in a different housing with different antennas it would still be great if you can give us a penetration test between the avata 2 and a 03 vtx to compare the drop in bitrate. Thanks for the current video as well!!!
Seems to me like you get an Avata if you’re not very tech savvy or don’t want to get too deep into FPV, but a traditional FPV setup is just so much more flexible and easier to expand on in the future. Once you own a controller, air unit, and goggles, you can get a completely new and different flying drone for a couple hundred bucks at most and just use it with the parts you already own. Much easier to expand into different platforms when you start in traditional FPV vs starting with an Avata.
What happened to your video between 0:50 and 1:36 (where your video freezes)? Did you have a render issue? Anyway, great comparison video nonetheless Mike! Cheers from Montréal :)
fpv manufacturer should consider to build optical flow system so many more ppl go for it than aerial, just get my 1st drone last week, dji mini 4k, n now im bored, really wanna try fpv, but lot of consideration cuz the limit of fpv for beginners
I choose non DJI, as they have NFZ, ALT limits in place, and now RID, even though my country does not have those requirements. Even sub250 (Mini -> Mini4) has all that nonsense in it, and that has kept me from buying DJI consumer/prosumer/professional drones. Imagine showing up for a client and DJI auth request for blue/red zones gets delayed/internet down - lost/angry client and pilot(s). It is a hassle and burden with the narrative of safety. I will wait for O4 to be available for the "modular" solution.
I say people use a hack to make it faster in europe using an sd card i think fcc hack it is called. Than there is another hardware hack where people remove the guards with a soldering iron getting even more performance out of the drone and reducing weight. I think if you have the money the tuned avata 2 checks all possible boxes. The no flyzone restrictions you should not violate anyway so i dont see them as an disadventage it is more of an adventage in my opinion.
аз се чудя защо няма как да намля кадрите идващи с очилат, искам по-нисък битрейт там, докато записа а картата да е с високото качество. Все ми е стрва че с по-малко качество ще дойде по-голям рейндж защото връзката ще е о-малко натоварена
You should first decide which system you want. Do you really want to be part of the DJI ecosystem? Often no compatibility with older models etc.? Expensive spare parts etc.? No choice of cameras, especially if you want to build lighter. e.g. in Europe you are not even allowed to add propguards, you are also not allowed to add parts yourself as spare part prints, no idea how it is in the USA.
Hay how about make a video to target. Why do we need so many controllers? DJI IS NOT being environmentally friendly. You RUclipsrs must reach out to DJI to also have the controller 3 compatible with others drones like the Mini 4 and Air 3 Or the RC 2 compatible with the Avata 2. This seems so logical why hasn't DJI done this? It's all O4 so it should just be a software update.
Avata 2 is the one for me simply bc of insurace. I bought it on Best Buy and whatever happens as long as I have it I know I don't have to worry about going too rough with it.
Great comparison, I like that you have pointed out avata limitations. Not many people talk about such things, which are completely unacceptable for me since I really need maximum from my drones. Also I totally agree that for just having fun and new people the avata is the way to go to avoid lots of frustrations having to rebuild quads 😂

So, what's your pick? Avata2 or O3 Cinewhoop? Let me know below ⬇
Both!
if u are a beginner, buy avata 2. for the best and extreme video footage, ofc FPV.
best hill diving, need speed. waterfall diving need thrust. sports chase need power/aggressive quad. that's why i love fpv world.
Thank you for the info! Coming from an OG DJI mini 2 ::Battery life , self hover and return home features make this an easy decision.
I bought the Avata 2 based on your videos. My Avata 2 video was posted yesterday and people are really happy with it! It's an amazing drone.
Really awesome to hear! 🙌🏼
How do you like it ?
@@X862go it's great. Really smooth.

Great video! Glad you added descriptive recommendations for the different groups of people that might be using those drones!
Glad you enjoyed it!
There's an audio sync error and the video freezes at 1:36 but then is fixed
Yeah not sure what’s up with that, must be some issue with the export, my bad 👍🏼

Ill buy a carbon fibre cage for my avata 2 as soon as it is available that should make it nearly impossible to damage the drone.
The avata 2 has an attachement to place an action camera on top.
fpv manufacturer should consider to build optical flow system so many more ppl go for it than aerial, just get my 1st drone last week, dji mini 4k, n now im bored, really wanna try fpv, but lot of consideration cuz the limit of fpv for beginners
what about low light performance? does the avata 2 have the same sensor as the mavic 2 pro?

Great video.
O3 cinewhoop seems a better choice for me.
Fair enough!
Good video Mike
Thanks !

*Браво граЦки . Въпреки , че не съм фен на FPV-тата , ме кефи как обясняваш образно и като за слаботокови .*
Благодаря 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I think there will always be a need to strap an action camera even with O4 just because at the lower frame rates latency in not fly able.
That's a fair point!
Напълно честно ревю. 😊
