    Love this, TFS! Definitely going to make a few journals this way! Do you live in Northbay? My stepdad used to have land in Northbay, which we went to see when I was around 11 or 12 years old. Nice to meet another Canadian! 🇨🇦🇺🇦

      Yes the FabriTac is very strong. The stitching is just an extra detail but not necessary. Happy crafting! Xo

    Love these. I need to order some waxed thread before I can do one. What do I get? Will probably have to get it on eBay. Thanks for a great tutorial.

    • @debbieanneEVG
      @debbieanneEVG  7 лет назад +1

      I also use crochet cotton, baker's twine, or embroidery floss. Whatever I have on hand at the time :)

    • @labradoodledandies4697
      @labradoodledandies4697 2 года назад

      You can buy a little container of beeswax designed for strengthening threads. Dritz makes one. It lasts for ages.

    • @Muthrtung
      @Muthrtung 2 года назад

      I use embroidery cotton for strength & variety of colours.
      I get a small beeswax block/candle/sheet to roll up tigjtly, place one end of thread underneath my thumb - pressing it down into the wax (leave a bit out to grip) & pull it through. Repeat at least 5 times to thoroughly coat it all. It works well & is super easy & accessible for me from a craft shop so I don't need to bother ordering. Just another option 😊
