    Love the ticking fabric color; very vintage looking. Really cool way to make the clasp 🌸
    I like using the bookbinding plastic T guides for spacing and there are a lot of different widths. You could even make your own so the space is always the same. You could also hold a piece of the chipboard pieces in between to space for conformity.

    This is beautiful! I love the striped fabric. I wonder if the glue will cause the fabric to yellow over time? I’d really like to try this idea❤️

      You can make bookcloth with iron heatnbond and then tissue paper on the back of the fabric. This prevents the glue from seeping too much into the fabric. That way you dont have to worry about the glue messing with the fabric!

      @@karastired Great to know. I was also thinking that the closure piece might be best if covered separately and then glued to the cover later making the cover fabric application not as "tricky."
